Vidya seem like a chore for me nowadays. I spend more time watching and reading game news, reviews or trivia stuff rather than playing.
I can't remember the last time I got really immersed and enjoyed a videogame like when I was a kid.

Maybe play games out of your comfort zone? I started playing forza 4 horizons and it's pretty fun so far. There's a lot of weird design choices in it though. Like its GaaS features are so ingrained in it that it basically wants you to treat the game as its own hobby. I guess that's how I can get so into it. It's easy enough to get semi good cars without spending anything and skipping past the stupid slot machines.

Just got into the devil may cry series. 1 was alright. It had soul I'll give it that. 2 was shit. I'm on 3 right now and having a lot of fun. Actually I'm on the last fight with vergil. It's fucking brutal. I'm gonna kick his weab ass tonight though. That Arkham fight was fucking aids though. Like it might actually kill my ability to replay the game. I'll probably just abuse healing items every time i get to him on future play throughs. Who the fuck thought that second half was a good idea? Anyway looking foward to 4 and 5. This is a dmc thread now. Op and his inability to enjoy anything can go fuck himself.

I saw a situation where my friend was working his ass off in some company and because of that he was always tired af and he gradually stopped playing games.
At the time he came back home he was so done he couldnt put the effort to actually play video games.

some huge potential is missing in video games. Currently it's almost exclusively for children, manchildren and tired people who just want to turn their brain off for a while. Not that it's bad, but there could be so much more variety. I made a thread about this 3 days ago and made indiedevs seethe
But if there's one thing you can't deny is present in a countless amount of games, it's the fun. You're probably just depressed or something, need to take a break, or have only played the bad ones

Have managed to reach the last phase 4 times now. Nirvana phase is kinda nice but most of the time I'd rather COOM during phase 2 since that's when it feels the best and being forced to numbly cum in the shower due to my dick overreacting to the water feels really bad.
