To this day, you have to go to the PSN store and buy a $10 voucher to change your characters appearance in Single player.
To this day...
who cares
Great reply user, 0/10
why would you play the original version though, the second game includes the first one
that one was abandoned and never updated
I bought both at gamestop, i think they were a little over $1 a piece, didn't realize 2 had 1 included till later
Yeah... rather than a second game, it's more like a similar treatment as all those capcom games and and MH clones. The added stuff is much smaller than the first game, it's more like an expansion that makes you buy the whole game again
For single player it didn't even add much story, but did conclude it, made the multiplayer pretty good though, was almost like a MMO. Not that this matter now that online been shutdown for both games. Offline it's really just a mediocre JRPG.
t. brainlet
Another insightful reply
I might try to go back and eventually beat it, but after the third boss or so it just turned into a grindfest. i just find it odd that would try to milk players for money for cosmetic changes in a now offline only game
Why would the devs put effort into modifying the product if they've already abandoned the project? Seems like a waste of resources. There's no real reason to play this game anymore. The multiplayer was the only good thing about it.
Just make the voucher free. You're right the game is a slog to play single player, but the Knight mech's were kinda cool
Wait why do I have to!?
t. shit for brains
Fuck this game, who's fucking bright idea was it that you was delegated to play as second fiddle self-insert instead of just telling the story as the MC?
Great reply faggot
>Kys
to be fair you can completely ignore your created character as far as i remember, they play a very minor role
You can but the beginning of the game made you think it will be (you)r adventure, but you were actually a side character
I'm thinking about picking up WKC2 now. Damn. I honestly liked 1 a lot even though had major problems
The player character gets their own Knight in 2 right?
Yup, customizable and ends up stronger than any of the story knights, it's also the only one that doesn't get locked by the end boss
To bad we never got the Avatars story dlc
The best thing is there's postgame DLC for 2 that actually features the avatar as the focus and properly ties up the story. It's Japan only. Goddammit the series had so much potential to be great.
Do they still sell the Georama parts in the PSN store too? Wonder how many people get suckered into buying those for a MP that is literally dead.
never played this but am sort of interested due to lioving the dark cloud games, explain
