Game makes female orks attractive

>Game makes female orks attractive
What other games do this?

Nigga she's a rat shaman.
She lives in literal filth.
She can survive in it because she has rat god protection, you don't.
If you fucked her even once your dick would probably fall off.

I got a cyberdick, what now?

Then you're a cybetranny, so either way you lose.

Is the writer for Dragonfall and HK still with HBS, or did they leave before BT came out? I've got a bad feeling if we ever get another SR game.

best girl

She's still cute tho.

ORCS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE UGLY

Victoria the librarian in divinity original sin was pretty cute

Give me handsome orcs

It's amazing, every time something happens with her character, it just reveals how terrible she is. From constantly running away from her past, to abandoning her parents, to being only a so-so decker, to not being able to actually control herself or remain professional for two seconds, she's just awful to be around.

I kept expecting some big, defining moment where she really pulls through with something impressive, but nah. It isn't until the very last few minutes of the game where she really has a change of heart and maybe decides to keep her memories even.

Gobbet's side story meanwhile has her really change as a person, getting more reflective on her actions, while Duncan at least learns to come to terms with everything after Carter's death and Raymond's past. Gaichu finds his place in the world, and Racter, while not really changing over the course of the game, opens up to you and shares his vision of the world.

yeah isobel sucked ass all around
she got beched the whole game for me until we needed to do her mission

I took her along for a playthrough hoping to see if she would have any unique development during missions, but usually she just gets upset and wants to go off the rails at stuff. She's not even really that great of combatant, mark target in general always seems to have a middling 60% accuracy from her or you, her pistol's bleed is exceptionally weak like all DoT stuff is and never really comes into play for the utility of preventing heals, and her decking skills are only serviceable at best. Her grenade launcher is the only redeeming item she has, and even that isn't particularly impressive when you could either get support drones or a grenade launcher for any team member if you spent the nuyen for it.

Personally, I think they should've had a little more focus on her silvergun's abilities or let her skill choices at least make her into a good decker. I'd rather hire out a mercenary decker who at least would have better combat skills than her.

He left a few months after BT came out.

Shit, sorry. Got the director and the writer mixed up there. nvm

How bad will the writing be, if we ever get a sequel?

The same writer did BT and that story was some of the laziest writing I've seen. Maybe he's lost his passion, maybe he just didn't like the BT setting. I wouldn't be surprised if a sequel was just a bunch of tropes strung together with an excuse plot.

What!

bt?

BattleTech.

Give ME Sumire wife!

Her personality demolishes the other female character in your party

I have a feeling it's probably a Mass Effect type thing, I could understand ups and downs, but the quick drop in quality screams that he had "oversight." Possibly from too many complaints that SR: HK had way too much fucking text to gameplay, which is a shame, since they simply could've spaced out the text or added some additional fights to keep things going.

If that's the case though, you can expect future SR titles to run downhill too, since they're likely to get the same treatment. Writing by committee and oversaw by "focus groups" determined to remove anything that could even be remotely interpreted as offensive or push an agenda. Not that SR wasn't already known for its heavy focus on the punk aspect of things, anarchism, and generally anything that rebels against society's norms, but there's a fine line between favoring it and turning it into a Saturday morning cartoon with a full good vs evil narrative, partially forgetting that the player characters are criminals bordering on terrorists and are not in any stretch of the imagination people on the up and up. Just shitty people adapting to a shitty world.

A fucking sack of potatoes demolishes Is0bel's personality on account of at least not being actively annoying, so that's not exactly a high bar.

She IS cute!

I guess that's fair. Gobbet has a decent arc in general.

Quality

Playing a decker and helping APEX get free is a crazy kind of feel man, knowing that tons of deckers that are suddenly dropping dead are getting consumed by APEX and it's all your fault.

It's hilarious the Wannabe tough-girl Vampire Girl got more development over the game than Is0bel did. And she only shows up like 4 times total.

She did have a pretty humorous story, going from an accountant turned vampire after getting wasted at a concert, to seducing a movie producer as her thrall, to becoming a sort-of queen of the damned over her little section of town.

Even the town vendors were interesting, from Matthew being something akin to a used car salesman on cybernetic anti-depressants and an RV full of robo-teddy bears to Ambrose's history as a runner to the troll family who owned the club.

>letting the Wintermute/SHODAN reference live

>in a cyberpunk game

To be fair I was going for the worst possible ending that run. Releasing APEX, allowing Vauclaire to release his dragon killing agent, watching the horrors come and consume all life on Earth, you know all because Monica died.

She wasn't that cute, dude.

I never said she was and it was a joke run I did but yeah my character was just a sociopath looking for a reason to cause havoc if we're being honest, Monica's death was just a cover.

Anyone take her along that mission where you can activate the Ratparty disc? Her reaction is kinda funny.

I was just kidding. Now, Glory, on the other hand...

imo the egalitarian / anarchist themes in DF and the full blown SJW faggotry in Battletech aren't really comparable
in DF it's framed as a local thing and you don't have to agree with it. you can tell off the orc-only charity and you can tell Lucky Strike that you don't buy their leaderless egalitarian bullshit. the only time you aren't allowed to pick a side is in the Humanis quest, and i don't think 'don't kill metahumans with nerve gas' is a particularly politically laden message. if anything, it serves as a reminder for the game's end choice
most importantly, there was HK between Dragonfall and Battletech and it didn't have any of these themes, again reinforcing the idea that back then these themes were considered as particular to the setting, not a global minimum everyone should adhere to

imo the change took place between the development of HK and Battletech's release, and it happened suddenly and all at once

but Eiger is for loving and cuddling
