>playing an all-ages version of an eroge
don't do this to yourself user

Own it on PC but neat it got a port. Might buy a future VN on Switch to try the experience even if its patched.

What should I get?
>Digimon Cyber Complete collection
>Bayonetta 1 and 2
>TWEWY
>Omega Labyrinth Life
>Ace Attorney
>Astral chain

Have you played Ace Attorney before?

No, never.

I'm buying a Switch Lite on release day. Are the best first games still BotW/Mario Odyssey/etc or were they replaced?

I'd think the cheapest option is Bayo 1 or 2. If you're into puzzle/VN games then the AA trilogy is fantastic barring one case in the second game. Astral Chain is an interesting take on the action genre, just be warned it's not nonstop fights and setpiece sequences. TWEWY is okay-ish if you have a stylus and only play in handheld mode, mediocre otherwise. Haven't played the others.

I'd vote Astral Chain, partially because there's an active Yea Forums community you can enjoy the game with at the moment.

xenoblade 2 is good if you liked the first xenoblade, don't listen to Yea Forums

>30$
is it comfy enough on the switch to justify it bros?

Attached: 1561572957503.jpg (480x360, 34K)

Personally I'd wait for a sale. It's been out for a while and likely due for one.

botw is is still probably your best choice, especially if your first playthrough is mostly blind. XB2 is also really good, both of these games are worth their price points, with hours and hours of gameplay.

nintendo.com/games/detail/sega-genesis-classics-switch/
Anons, is it worth $30? I hear the emulation on it is shit and has audio issues with some games and other problems. I just want comfy PStar and SoR on my Switch.

BOTW still holds up. It kind of gets a little dull at the end, the formula for encountering a new Divine Beast gets kind of predictable and some were definitely more well designed than others, and also some of the side quests were kind of dull. Beyond that exploration, discovering loads of tricks, and the combat was a ton of fun. Its well worth its price tag.

>playing weebshit "games"
>in japanese even though you don't understand a shit
Pathetic

I was a huge nintendo fanboy as a kid then switched to PC. I kinda want to get a switch when animal crossing comes out but I don't want to get cucked by the analogue stick issue and the inevitable switch pro being announced 1 nanosecond after my return period is up. Also, come on I need some new animal crossing in my life and I can't wait until fucking march.

Which game will give me the most game time for the cost?

>port machine

So was the vita and people loved it especially towards the ends when hacking became more prominent and a few more ports were coming and now handheld fags either recently got or love their vita.

I'm not a big fan of Digimon but the Cyber Sleuth games were pretty fun and both bundled together for $50 is a great deal and a will keep you busy for a very long time. Each game is 50 hours if not more if you're a completionist.
That said if you've never read ace attorney before then get the trilogy. Goes on sale fairly often too.

If I get Ace Attorney I will be importing for physical copy.

wait hold up, is the Digimon port already out?

It comes out in about 5 weeks.

I'm probably going to finish Astral Chain tonight, then I'm gonna play SMW and Deadly Premonition until DQXIS is out.

playing Terraria with analog sticks is about as comfortable as poking hemorrhoids with a dildo, even for free I couldn't recommend any of the console ports

>18 hours into golf story
>start the final tournament
>it's all of a sudden much harder than every other challenge
>game just restarts at the beginning of tournament
>can't get out to practice or fuck around with galf
What in the actual fuck?

Anyone else waiting for Puzzle Quest 1 remaster?
I sure hope they've learned what went wrong later in the series and don't screw it up.

Attached: puzzlequest_2953043_1200x675.png (1200x675, 1.3M)

This coming to America officially outside of fucking importing?

Attached: dragon-quest-1-2-3-collection-multilanguage-607055.1.jpg (1500x1500, 201K)

no word on that yet, but the asian non-japan version has english apparently

probably never coming over to the US though

Attached: 1565792956167.jpg (756x684, 74K)

mario maker and fire emblem are fantastic
mario kart, botw, odyssey can all be found pretty cheap

Any reason to play that Asian release over emulating the SNES ports?

>Got a 5~6 hour bus ride later
Aww yeeah gonna make all kinds of progress in FF8 Remastered.

my left joycon is starting to occasionally drift

Attached: NLDHDT5.jpg (720x762, 65K)

don't think so

pretty sure this newer release is just based on the mobile versions

>tfw you want to get Astral Chain but you have Ace Attorney, FFX, two routes of 3H, Bayonetta 2, and Megaman Legacy backlogged

What the heck bros there are too many games.

Well this came out today. Enjoying the stupidity so far.

Attached: IMG_20190910_215514787.jpg (3840x1920, 1.41M)

How can you afford it?

>buying games

Attached: uma.png (650x558, 170K)

Oh huh. It isn't up on the pirate sites yet. That's unusual.

I own a Switch and it fucking sucks. Everything is a shitty port. The only "exclusive" I enjoyed was Odyssey and it's just a cancelled Wii U game.

The full priced Wii U ports are getting a little fucking old

Wait for sale

40 dollar WiiU ports aren't much less of an insult to 60 dollar ones

Attached: 1554027870476.jpg (632x632, 69K)

Gold points

Doesn't weebshit usually go under the radar for a day or two? I wanted the PC port, but there's no release date yet.

Attached: IMG_20190910_221230841.jpg (3840x1920, 1.3M)

I didn't think the whole "It's a handheld and a console!" gimmick would be as good as it was. Sometimes you want the game on the big screen and sometimes you just want to play it in bed under the covers. Library is shaping up to be pretty damn good too.

Why not use a coupon to lower it even more? Maybe store credit

Its the Vita, but good.

Attached: a94.png (500x616, 108K)

No. Eastern or Western games get leaked on schedule or earlier. I don't see that one at all.

Should I upgrade my 2DS to N2DSXL?

No

Why?

Only if you want bigger screen.
Old to New is not really worth it unless you want to emulate stuff.

I only don't like not being able to close the screen and the 2DS has a cheap feel to it. All the games left I care about for the system I already own and currently going through them.

>on lite
XC2 is only playable docked.

It is playable just not very optimized.

540p scales better to 720p than 720p to any modern TV/Monitor resolution and the graphics in battles are pretty much filler outside of the UI

>stealing games like this
You're absolute scum.

Does it have gyro aiming?

>responding to trip fags
>buying games

Attached: 1557517647849.jpg (640x654, 39K)

Playing Skyrim for the first time. The gameplay loop/structure is very similar to BotW expect that nothing is fun. This game has probably the worse combat I've seen in any videogame. It's weird since I played Fallout 3 and I liked it a lot so thought this was gonna be a better version of that formula but it's actually the opposite. Any tips Skyrim veterans can give me to enjoy it more? I guess I'll just finish the mainquest and be done with it.

>Supporting theft
>2019
If these games don't sell, we aren't getting any others. Thief.

Good, I already have enough games to last a lifetime

>Physical release got moved back to November
Fuck

>Nazi frog poster
As expected

just finished both doom episode 4 and phantasy star tonight, looking for more comfy older games. is the mana collection worth the asking price? it's steep.

Wheres my pure white switch model. Nothing is comfier than that.

>The redditor is butthurt he's been called out
As expected of those who steal everything.

play around with spells a bit (or give your character restrictions), it makes it a bit more fun. I made a necromancer who doesn't ever carry anything that could get him caught, so he'd wear normal clothes and never carry physical weapons, instead relying on bound weapons and spells. It was fun.

What is the game?

Any niche game like gun gun pixels.

>as if that's bad

I'm considering picking up Chroma Squad to play on breaks from Daemon x Machina so I don't get burned out. This system has works for me usually, but is Chroma Squad a good down-time game?

Attached: IMG_2083.jpg (1400x1400, 140K)

PC is literally the port machine. Every major game is designed with console specs in mind.

Been enjoying Astral Chain. If you want to play a more relaxed fusion of Ace Attorney and Bayonetta that's also its own thing, I recommend it.

I'd say BOTW and Smash are must haves. Odyssey was fantastic, but I felt like the other two had better replayability.

Help me Yea Forums. Getting a lite soon. I should buy DXM, Astral Chain or fire emblem, but I really want to double dip with Witcher 3 and spend another 200 hours playing. The idea of that game on portable makes me hard

The newer models have earlier hardware flaws improved. Don't worry about it too much.

Should I upgrade to new model if I already have old model? Is it worth?

Hey that's me but replace Ace Attorney with Daemon x Machina

Buy game

Looking for a good shooter that uses Gyro aiming. I played Splatoon and Warframe. Doesn't need to be . Any help?

Doom 2016

Hard to say. I got my model after the analog drift period.

I already played that back on my Xbone. Also not really keen on giving Bethesda any money unless I really have to.

Wolfenstein II then.

>$60+ for shitty controllers
>cheaper to buy a $20 dongle and use old ps3/4 controllers

why is nintendo so jewish?

Attached: 1560490317643.jpg (600x800, 58K)

I have this on Steam but I remember needing to patch a lot of content and uncensoring. Is the Switch version the bad one?

I'm close to the end of this, I'd played 1 and 2 as a kid but I never got into them that much. I've been loving them (and 3) now though, I guess I didn't have the required attention span for collectathons back then.

Attached: H2x1_NSwitch_SpyroReignitedTrilogy_image1600w.jpg (1600x800, 366K)

It is heavily censored for all ages

Every platform's controller's have design flaws but okay.

Attached: IMG_9551.jpg (1080x1350, 40K)

Yeah, but apparently there's been a script revision since the initial release so it'll still have that cut stuff missing but the wording won't be such a mess. Ageha's route will still be a mess by nature of how they had to change things to make it all ages.
The price is fairly high though since it routinely goes on sale for $4 on Steam and the mobile port goes on sale for $5 or $6 all the time, though it lacks voices.

I went for the physical version so no lewd pixies for me until November.
I JUST got my copy of Omega Labyrinth since customs held it up forever though, and I'm getting Daemon x Machina this weekend. I guess I can wait.

I'm thinking about buying a switch Grip.

Which do you guys use? Seems like the Skull & co one is the most recommended.

I just want this thing to feel less flimsy and more comfortable.

Attached: 1541206277474.png (1280x720, 1.15M)

>justifying nintendo rip off controllers that will eventually drift

If I import Omega Labyrinth will it also be stuck by customs?

I tried to do a joycon shell replacement but fucked it up.
Everything was going well but I couldn't get the ribbon cable for the ZR button back in.
I tried so carefully with tweazers to do it right but it still snapped.
Feel like shit but I can't fix it now.
At least I have a white joycon that is fully functional besides that button.
Will probably just use it for mariokart and buy another one for handheld.

if you just want it to not feel flimsy just replace the latches with metal ones.
it's easy to do.

Nintendo could be making money hand over fist if they started releasing the Switch and joy cons in more colors.

Attached: willaah.png (606x601, 695K)

Customs is pure RNG, sometimes they just ignore your shit and push it through the same day, sometimes your shit sits in a fucking bin for a month because fuck you, that's why. Depending on where you live makes it worse, 3rd worlders have a 50/50 chance of losing their shit because customs is a glorified theft ring, yuropoors and leafs have to wait so they can get fucked by additional taxes.

damn how does it feel to be literally retarded

I was patient and did everything the right way, I don't feel at fault here.

Or you could just buy a ribbon cable for less that $10

Attached: sad-spiderman.jpg (582x335, 76K)

Get FE and Ass Chain used, wait a bit for W3 to drop in price or get it used too

no, the cable didn't break the connector did.
The latch popped off completely just from trying to slowly push it back in (Even though it was open).

I recommend Fire Emblem.

I hear great things about Astral Chain but I'm a huge mecha weeb so I've decided to ditch it for Daemon x Machina instead. I'll certainly pick up AS later.

Demo is out and it's pretty fun.

Attached: 1567911805633.webm (640x360, 2.75M)

>The latch popped off completely just from trying to slowly push it back in (Even though it was open).
The black piece, right? Unless it's cracked, you should just be able to put it back on.

it was great on mine.
the button was working while testing just holding the cable so I super-glued over it.
I think the glue must have ruined the connector.

bump

Gun Gun Pixies is out for pirates now

Play Oblivion instead. The "soul/soulless" meme literally originated from the comparison of Oblivion and Skyrim.

It's almost guaranteed to go on sale when Trials comes out.

>The idea of that game on portable makes me hard
I thought the same thing about ES, and while I never really got into Skyrim, it looks like garbage on handheld and just isn't the same.

Mine did this couple of weeks back. Luckily i used a straw to get under the rubber flap and blew the dust away and it seemed to work.
Hope you get it sorted user. Nintendo really need to fix this whole problem.

I'm out of space, if I delete the dragon quest demo can I still transfer my save data over to the full version?
I suppose if it doesn't work I can just redownload the demo since the data remains and go from there.

No it didn't. The earliest was some Mario Kart reference. Around the same time was Halo CE for 360 being compared.

Nope. Looked for an option, but it's not there.

Even if BotW wasn't a game you could easily sink 100 hours into, it's worth it just for the HD rumble and gyro aiming in handheld, assuming you're going to pick up a Switch in the first place. I know they sold more copies of Zelda at launch than they did actual Switch sales, but I feel like if they bundled them they would have sold twice as many.

I heard that it has even worse combat than Skyrim so nope. The game could literally be a masterpiece on everything else but if the combat is that shitty then it's not worth it. And no, I'm not installing mods.

Unless you play melee the combat in Oblivion is much better than Skyrim.

Depends what you like. But if you have any interest in mystery games i would go for Ace Attorney. But if you like action go with Astral Chain or Bayonetta.

Who the fuck told you oblivion combat is worse than skyrim, they are almost identical except you have a button that casts spells instead of equipping them like weapons.

Botw is fucking garbage and always was.
Get astral chain.

Sex scenes in VNs are always absolute cringe. If I can't get off to them then there's no point.

Any other good VNs on switch? I already have the AA trilogy.

Thats just not true. It gets 1 worthwhile exclusive minimum every month for the second halve of 2019. Thats almost more then the ps4 and xbox had in their entire lifecycle

I tried Doom 2016 on my brother's switch. Everyone said it was the worst version by far, but it was more fun and it looked quite good to me. Sure, a little blurry, but amazing still. And I have it on Pc and can play it at High-60fps
So I am not worried about how will it look. I have seen every footage of w3 switch using a phone and I am amazed

Doom on Switch is surprisingly good, but is kind of a one-off.
>seen every footage of w3 switch using a phone and I am amazed
Did you watch the last direct? They had maybe 30 seconds of game play footage and it looked terrible.

I have yet to play a single non-nukige vn with good sex scenes or ones that actually add something.
It always either drags on for 30 hours before before giving you some porn that you no longer care about at that point and omitting it from the game wouldn’t impact it at all, or it’s just straight up garbage. Or both. Most often both.

Has anyone played the Yu-Gi-Oh game? I used to be really into the DS and GBA games, is this one anything like them? How’s the online? And is there any reason to buy the switch version instead of just pirating the PC version?

Watching W3 videos on a big screen is a mistake. There are videos of the switch on novigrad and it is impressive

Fuck off, cancer supporters

Currently playing Daemon X Machina, shit is cash

Yeet

Watch it however you like. It doesn't look good.
youtu.be/8TVE44feo_I?t=1724

It's nice, you can play with cards and all, but it can't hold a candle to the Tag Force series.
I like the big cardpool though.

Comfy sneed thread.

youtube.com/watch?v=1T5BVunyWXU

youtube.com/watch?v=LNPxE8Bnseg

Sound on on both

It's playable but after I modded it it became the best looking JRPG in portablr mode. Sucks for non-homebrew fags.

Should I get different joycons? The "neon-sòy" memes are starting to get to me. also just bought a new model 1 Switch today for ~$200

I'm waiting for the physical copy. Just got a mail that it's delayed from Amazon.

Attached: Opposite day at Area 51.png (1920x1080, 2.22M)

You could get replacement joycon shells

Attached: Nintendo Switch Outrun.jpg (924x929, 129K)

Those shells cost more than a pro controller.

Well you can buy cheaper ones from china in any color you like.

Got these bad boys preloaded now, super excited

I'm also cautiously optimistic for the Groove Coaster port. It seems like less of a cash grab whose days are numbered from the jump like the PC version, but that one burned really bad. Input timing was awful and made 12+ difficulty songs nearly impossible

Attached: EEIMwZfU8AAFaGZ.jpg (1280x720, 160K)

Why...

Seething snoys

Picked myself up an 8bitdo controller. I went with the older model because it's chunkier than the newer ones which is fine because I have massive hands. The analogue sticks feel really good too. I can't get over how comfy it feels to hold, especially the little indents on the Y and X buttons. The only downside (so far) is the fucking price tag. 60+tax for a fucking SNES controller with thumbsticks? Seriously? I fucking hate these generations of consoles where the controllers seem so fucking expensive. This cost me as much as a PS4 controller. I was able to find the newer model on Kijiji for 20 dollars new, but the thumbsticks were described as smaller than the Switch's, which sounds tiny.

Attached: 71x1ccxgAmL._SL1500_.jpg (1500x1149, 104K)

I've been playing Ape Out which is a fucking fantastic game. I only play it one level at a time, since each level takes me maybe 5-10 tries to beat it. I love how it zooms out to show you where on the map you died and just how close to the end you were. Controlling the monkey feels good, and all the attacks feel like there is some weight behind them. Only thing I don't love right now is the parts where the game goes "dark" and the color pallet changes to black and white, it can be difficult to see what the hell you are doing so I sort of just try and get through those parts as fast as possible.

Been playing A Night In The Woods. It's been on my list for a while, and after the news that's happened recently, it prompted me to give it a shot. I think I might only be an hour or two in, but it's an incredibly cozy, moody game. You play someone who comes back to their hometown in the Fall, and while it's not realistic in terms of writing, the world building through all the little conversations and quips you read and experience really flush it out. It reminds me a lot of Life Is Strange S1, in that you meet these unique characters who actually feel like real people within the game. I always hated when people complained about LIS being older people writing what they think teens "are ACTUALLY like"; they just wanted to give you memorable characters with personalities. No shit it's not how real teens talk, no one wants that. ANITW is more of a walking simulator (so far), in that you are sort of just mulling around town talking to people here and there. Very excited to keep playing.

I just love my Switch so much. I can't remember the last time I've had so many games I want to play, and tons more coming out in the future.

VA-11 HALL-A is amazing.

Three Houses is excellent if you like strategy games or Persona style games.

Started Child of Light yesterday. Am on ch 4, loving it so far.
I started on hard (or is it expert?) and I'm kinda annoyed by the fact that you have all those HP/MP/STR/etc. boost items in your inventory from the very start. But starting crystals are useful.

And I just heard that RS3 and Scarlet Grace are coming out in November/December, that's a good news!

Bayonetta, Ace Attorney, and Digimon.

Literally every shooter ever on PC with a Switch Pro, PS4 or Steam Controller.

I'll buy a Switch when RF5 is out.

Should I play Bayonetta or Mario Rabbids?

Clannad
