I thought the story was boring as fuck, and exploration was a massive downgrade from X in favor of XC1 pandering. The climax of the story was retarded with an awful antagonist you've thoroughly wrecked, several times, at that point. Combat was okayish, my least favorite of the Xenoblades. Pseudo-gacha was a horrible idea.

It's probably the weakest "big" Switch title by a considerable margin, down there with Mario Party and 1-2 Switch.

The visuals are a con but not a deal breaker. The real issue is the boring ass combat and how stupidly long the game is.

Yes, exactly. 20% of the boards are dedicated to anime alone. Even more if you count in stuff like Oekaki, Pokemon or Cosplay.
And even then you will find anime in some sort or form on the majority of the site.
The site banners all consist of anime and the mascot itself is Yotsuba. You really need to do some retarded mental gymnastics to delude yourself that this site is not a weeb site.

I loved XB2. I liked the story, characters, artstyle, music, and gameplay.

It was just a fun time. I could gush about the game at length.
