what was wrong with SO2 on psp? From what I remember all they did was anime it up, add more appropriate but less funny VAs, and the the hand on a stick girl. The game played pretty much the same

They added shitter va's unironically. The new art was pretty bad in comparison and they fucked up the combat by adding strings that outdid all killer moves. This in turn also fucked over people by tricking them into thinking they were useless. By the time you got later game they were weak as fuck and the strings weren't so hot when stronger stuff showed up.

It worked for me. I dunno. I always just played with rena and the rate down totally worked for me especially doing post game dungeons. Scout didn't work though. I did notice that much.

If you keep hitting attack they will do chains and shit. It's kinda crape but it does do more damage than killer moves do at first. Of course since you played the original you knew that leveling moves is damn key to survival later. Anyone else won't know this and the psp one makes it seem like you should be doing it.
