Dante in Super Smash Bros

How would you implement Dante as a playable DLC fighter for super smash brothers ultimate? Would you simplify him like Bayonetta, or go all out and add mechanics such as style switching and devil trigger?

I wouldn't.

>Would you simplify him like Bayonetta
thats kinda why I dont want him in smash. He would be boring to play comapred to his own games like bayo is

Literally a bayonetta echo.

>Pick Dante
>Win

Smash is for autistic shutters that can't even wash themselves

i feel like bayonetta was a bit of a failure in terms of making her interesting to play because they kinda retrofit her gameplay into a game that didnt really work for it. maybe a shulk style style switch with just basic different weapons for his specials to make him fun to play rather than "mechanically interesting"

>bayonetta has all these awesome moves and weapons
>you wouldn't know it from how smash made her moveset
I bet the same thing would happen to Dante.

I was thinking of incorporating his styles into his taunts since those are already mapped to the dpad, along with down b acting as a quick weapon switch

Styles mapped to taunts. Each style completely changes his moveset.

Go full crazy, give him fucking jump cancelling, devil trigger, melee weapon switching, style switching, Devil Trigger
Make The Hero look like fucking Brawl Ganondorf

Devil trigger would need to go, like with Joker for example Arsene works because base joker is kind of weak, he doesn't do much damage so Arsene makes a weaker character stronger but Dante would be pretty strong to begin with, so how would devil trigger even be balanced

maybe it would only boost certain attacks like stinger?

No shame in making Dante top tier, he's basically built for it.

Aren’t taunts banned online because zommer faggots consider it cyber bullying?

We'll never have cool shit like weapon switching or a massive movelist like MvC3 so I think adding a Style mechanic where each one is assigned to a special move which would maybe change up some of his normal attacks.
This also. They'd probably just make Sin Devil Trigger a cinematic final smash.

The perfect place for Dante

First, I wouldn't. I'd pick a rep from a company that actually supports the switch.

Down B is his stance switch. Changes his move-set entirely. Normals, specials, grabs, everything. Also, he has a small Style Meter next to his portrait. Purely cosmetic just so people know they're getting beasted on.

They're clearly rolling out the DMC games, though.

>.t hasn't played either game series

option 1: rebelion + e&i only
option 2: megaman style were normals are devil arms
option 3: sword+punch/kick weapon with e&i as neutral spacial only
only final smash acceptable: Looks like we got a winner/remember what we used to say?
JACKPOT!

Gene would be better.

Is super mario rpg on switch?

i meant the guy from god hand you dolt

ok retard

Breaking up the HD Collection and selling each piece for $20 is hardly support.

Kirby can still taunt to remove his abilities, same logic could be used for dante style switching

Hey, Capcom jewery is more money. By all means that's another way to support.

honestly dante doesnt NEED style switching and even if he had it it should only change one move not hhis entiree moveset like some people are saying
trickster is a dash forward in the air or a trick up in the ground
swordmaster would just be shreder if tap and real impact if held
royalgard would just be a counter
and gunslinnguuer charge shot in ground and rrainstorm on thee air

I would pick DMC1 Dante and have his specials be Ifrit and his Normals Alastor

Maybe the Style Meter could be implemented with a DT system? Make him hit harder and slowly recover percentage
