So any dialogue where any character made a reference to Erica actually being a dude has been removed.

- When Erica expresses interest in joining a women's wrestling team, the line where Vincent says "They wouldn't let you in in the first place." has been removed.

- When Erica tells Vincent he needs to learn how a girl's heart works and how a woman is always hoping someone will come sweep them away. The comment Vincent makes about how he'd be more convinced if a woman telling him this has been removed.

- The line where Erica says "she" has been having nightmares is gone.

There are probably more, but that's all I caught.

At that point doesn't that make Erica not even a tranny anymore?

I mean, Toby still says fuckin' her was weird and the other characters are still awkward around Toby being weird about being all into Erica, but that's it. I haven't done the Katherine ending yet, so I can't see if Toby still gets grossed out about being tricked into fucking a tranny or not, but I assume that's still there.

At what point did people become unable to comprehend that just because a character says something doesn't mean the creator is advocating for it?

What the fuck are you talking about

trannies

The first one at least makes sense because now Eric would be allowed into a woman's wrestling team, and she'd probably win too.

Not that user, but what he said seems pretty clear to me. You can write a story with characters who have different opinions than yours without portraying them in a negative light. In fact, that would be a sign of good writing.

Unfortunately the fanboys won't care and will still use this game as fuel for their console war threads.

good, i'm happy to hear that.

I'm tired of people talking about this one issue about the side-character.
Here are the facts; the only new K ending is shitty.
Rin is a boring character who does not develop.
Catherine, the most interesting girl whose misdeeds are more down to her inherent nature has the best ending.
It's just nice to see that Best Girl won in the end.

>reduce the impact of the character's sexuality and identity on the cast
>this is seen as the progressive move

Doesn't work that way. They're a transexual first and a person second and their behaviors must reflect the hivemind or else they're considered offensive. It's the same with races, religions and genders.

Personally, I'm sad if they did change it. Erica undergoing such an almost unrecognisable change in identity made him/her a good counterpoint to Vincent whose reluctance to change was the key point to the story.

how was toby stil a virgin when he's around 30
what the fuck

>They're a transexual first and a person second and their behaviors must reflect the hivemind or else they're considered offensive.
i'm glad the devs changed this mindset and regard erica as a person first now.

how are you?

Yes, and?

He's 23

the first and third one are in
not sure about the second one

i'm not around 30
this gives me hope

Not the worst changes of in the world, but takes away a little bit of the nuance of the story, that is with the nightmares part. Everything else is, eh, could be a lot worse. The only other change I can think of is the credits change.

I thought it said eric andre-son
It didn't bad poo poo thread
Who fucking cares.

I know for a fact that the line where Erica mentions she started having nightmares is still in. Also Toby mentions that it looked like she was having a nightmare after they slept together

>Remove all lines of the cast making fun of Erica
>Now they just look like they're scared of saying anything that could offend SJW
Catherine is no longer a fantasy game on a fucking space station, it takes place in [current year]
