Skin tones in this game are weird. Almyrans to the west are a lightish brown, Duscur to the north are black, Brigid is a kind of olive tone judging by Petra, yet Shamir from Dagda is one of the palest in the cast outside the mole people.

Lions and Eagles conflict with each other most directly, with Deer dealing with other things on the side. Choosing Lions or Eagles for your first playthrough is probably for the best, but you need multiple playthroughs to get the full picture

The Slitherers are only a threat in GD because unlike SS or AM, Claude and the gang decided to spare the Imperial dogs, which backfired because they decided to pair up with the Dubsteppers that Byleth and his army couldn't finish off alone in the epilogue, which happened only months after the ending. I guess here is don't spare the Imperial forces, and kill most of them off until they're no longer a threat like SS and AM.

The Grondel rematch was the biggest letdown in the game. It's fucking retarded in BL and only makes half sense in GD.

In the final mission of BL all those black robed mages, if you target them it says they're slitherers. And the leader of the Slithers is the faceless sorcerer named Myson who if you kill they all retreat. Also you killed Arundel in Deirdru who was actually Thales and the only one capable of launching the ICBMs
