He wasnt a small role, but it does stand that the game is old as fuck and he never made an appearance again. I think he's honestly a better fit to be in Mario kart/ Mario party and stuff like that. Smash is a celebration of historical characters coming together, and Geno is out of place there

KoF and SNK games by extension have always been more popular in those countries because of both how cheap the NEOGEO boards were and how easy it was to pirate the games. A lot of the old cabinets are probably still being used today

The main reason why zoomers have no idea who Terry is is because SNK has the exact same issue that SEGA does.
