yikes I love TWEWY but I hate Kingdom Hearts, the Disney shit is cringe

Playing the DS version and im having fun so far Currently im at Week 2 (btw does anyone have any tips)

Make sure to buff up Neku and Joshua and to focus on getting Fusion boosts for the most part. Also make sure to increase your Bravery as well. You’ll need it for some of the later portions.

You only need to play like KH1, KH2, BBS, DDD, and KH3, really. The rest you can look up for cutscenes.

You're in luck cause the more KH goes on the less relevant becomes the Disney side, it's all about the OCs now.

I'd say Switch but keep in mind that it's only really enjoyable in handheld mode with the touchscreen, playing docked with joycons feels like ass.

I hate that the ideal way to fight is to mash through the full combo, then dodge until you do it again. You can't mix light and heavy attacks, you can't juggle enemies, you never want to stop attacking mid combo, because Sora has a century of cooldown after attacking. It feels much too clunky and held together by putting the enemy hitstun. I'm also not wild about the mobility Sora has. In KH2, whenever the option to triangle comes up, it is ideal to do so right away, whenever possible, with the exception of the silver aliens.

DS for the best version of the combat.
Switch for the sequelbait ending that will never be followed up on.

Doesn't Disney own Sora, Kairi and Riku? They'll make sure Disney stuff stays in KH

In TWEWY, I have a lot of control over how combat works. Honestly, it almost feels like the exact opposite design mentality. I choose what moves to bring into battle, I can switch around gear quickly that alters statistics pretty heavily, I'm encouraged to keep track of two seperate but interconnected fights. It also helps I like the story and characters in TWEWY.

Yeah, TWEWY puts a lot of emphasis on on the RPG mechanics compared to KH, I feel. A lot of the Keyblades (until 3 and Days and Recoded to an extent) felt like skins that don’t really change much.
