personally i feel the switch is tailor made for all the great indy 2d games of late, so whatever of those i haven’t played yet

Did you have a Wii U? if not Tropical Freeze is the best game on the system. Also get Mario Kart and Astral Chain.

If you want comfort wait for links awakening remake or get mario/ botw.

Not him since I never played a Smash title in my life and I am only in for the reveal rides, but give him a break, any hate towards Smash is justified when this been a thing for a while and will continue to be so

splatoon 2 won't have any more splatfests. know that. it'll have people playing it for years though (there's still people playing splatoon 1) and the singleplayer especially the expansion is great.

if you don't have a ps4, dragon quest builders is really fun.

Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle is unironically a good time, its a solid but a tad easy Xcom clone and it did scratch my itch for it so it must have succeeded.

Also there is a demo for the first 10 hours of the game for free on the E-shop, so you can try it out.
