Mission difficulty scaling based on how well you did in the last mission is the worst mechanic ever implemented in an RTS, especially considering it can make the game literally unwinnable.
The stats for practically every racer are wrong, and the game is wildly unbalanced in that regard. Some characters like Goroh's son are really bad, and for time trials, it's really hard not to just switch to a custom vehicle, Fat Shark or Black Bull which are pretty much the best in every regard, with a few runner up being good enough.
I'd say people being assholes in some games are what makes them interesting and fun. I'd get no satisfaction from ammorack'ing some nigger in a tank game if they were a nice person but seeing them talk shit every game makes it really satisfying.
The sleeping and eating system in brave fencer musashi is fun for the first few hours but gets annoying when you pass out and die mid dungeon because you forgot to go back while tired.

I'm also a huge F-Zero GX fan but I also think that it falters with the content it offers. F-Zero X has a randomized track cup which is super fucking fun as well as, in the Expansion Pack, a track editor.
A track editor and a cup for randomized tracks would have been great and relatively easy to implement.
It's a team-based game so you can't carry as much as in other MOBAs

FE Three Houses is too repetitive, both in the map content and monastery sections. It's not like in Awakening where you can jump straight to the next story beat if you want, you usually HAVE to spend at least one session sprinting around the school like an autist. I still like the game but if they'd streamlined it it would bump it from a 6-7/10 to a solid 9 for me

Followup: It's really a shame because I love this genre of game for it's gameplay,combat and character upgrade system.
They just need to add some sort of "mix up" element, make the worlds bigger and something to hinder the player from upgrading their character too quickly to compensate for the bigger world and it would be perfect.

Tried to actively incorporate it in a playthrough, but the spell animations are either so long that you can get the same damage done with melee attacks much more quickly. Or you find a spell you really like, e.g. the ice ring, but then you can only carry nine at a time and not all magishops sells them, anyway.
