Reimu represents PC gaming in Japan far more than she represents indies. I know they get meme'd together a lot, but Reimu and Doomguy are probably the most iconic characters you can get from PC gaming for both the East and the West. There is not a more perfect crossover duo.
Now that all the big indies have been represented in some way, it's only a matter of time Reimu gets added in Smash

im not, but touhou is the most interesting indie series to be represented simply because of the way zun handled the IP copyright.
