From what I've read, gun shooting feels fun, character abilities are real nice, but the game does little to make you hate or care about the antagonists. Since I just generally love the Borderlands setting, and really I play the games to shoot things and make them explode, I'll probably nab it.

The parts system BL uses kills me because there's one configuration for each type of gun that is hands down better than every other possible config.
That little box thingy that's on the side of the gun sometimes? One of those makes the gun do like 20% more raw damage.
It's an absolute joke.

I hope it has faster characters this time. I found BL2 boring a lot of the times even with the UCP until I found this. Didn't realize how important speed is to a game until now. Even the slight increase was more noticeable and made the game a lot more fun.
