When I first got a PC in 2000 I was a hardcore Blizzard fanboy. Diablo 1 (online multiplayer!) was amazing, and they were just a rapid fire ass cannon of masterpieces. Starcraft, Diablo 2, Warcraft 3 and great expansions to go with them all between 1997 and 2003.
Now their games really just dont appeal to me at all. I cant really put my finger on why. I didnt like World of Warcraft, but then I dont like any MMO so that's a given. I feel like I should have loved Diablo 3... but I didn't. Even without the auction house.
I'm 32 years old now and I definitely play less games but I still PLAY games and love them. Maybe I really did just grow out of Blizzard.
