Combat and variety in Dead Cells is far far better. Blasphemous isn't a rogue-lite though so there's that.

They are completely different, Blasphemous is way heavier and grounded in fundamentals compared to Dead Cells where you cancel animations and keep moving al the time.
Though the upgrades you receive in Blasphemous do sound very significant.
