What's the appeal of jail break? it always seems to boil down to playing simons says with some autistic loser while trigger happy guards wait for you look slightly too far to the left so they can gun you done, or trying to win a fight that's highly stack against you

Prison guards get to power trip for 15 minutes, prisoners get to either have a modicum of fun obeying commands or try to weasel their way out of sight of the guards. Being the underdog is fun, there's a lot to be said for winning a fight where you have a disadvantage.

As the other person said, the guards get to play their weird power trip needs but the fun of being a prisoner is mind games and finding an opportunity to rebel. It's just satisfying shitting on people who think they're in control.

The only game that had fun Jailbreak was CS2D since you could actually do different wide scale prison breaks fairly quickly and still have the round go on for a while.

Jailbreak isn't fun when the guards instantly kill everyone because autists can't handle the possibility of losing in order to get an actual game going.

I spent a whole summer just playing jailbreak.

I guess the gamemode is just fun when the community isn't so edgy that theyll make nigger jokes every other sentence but doesnt have such a stick up their ass about rules and everything has to be super serious.

Same thing with TTT. Sticking to one server I feel definitely made it a lot more fun when you started thinking x is this kind of warden or y makes these kinds of plays when hes traitor

I'd say because of a lot more human interaction in it. If a CT keeps freekilling guys then you could just CT ban him and he can just play as a T. Having a good warden is a lot of fun too but very rare. I guess I would compare it to when kids in the playground make up some game with specific rules and you do all the "nuh uh" arguments with each other. Your doing the same thing in jailbreak except in video game form.
