What's the point of Home if the pokemon cant be used in other games? The absolutely only way to save this disaster of a decision is to have a pure battle mode I home, akin to the stadium games, where you can use all of the pokemon you've collected in every game online even if they're not useable in the current generation titles. There's a good chance it's less than 500. They compared it with only the USUM pokedex guidebook which is 720 pages for just under 800 Pokemon. The SM book is 348 pages for 301 Pokemon. The ratio doesn't match up because the first dex guide of each gen since gen 4 includes a post game guide. The SWSH is 448 pages, so it's more likely that the game will have between 450 and 500 Pokemon including gigantamax forms.

People pointed out that the animations shown in the Pokémon Camp in the latest trailer were indeed new and far better than what we've seen so far, since Pokémon Camp is a shitty minigame I assume they didn't just dump 60% of their animation just for that (since every single Pokémon is in there), they are probably taking their time to match these new animations to the correct set of moves of each Pokémon and hopefully this will lead to them to be shown in battle aswell

Yeah, I always get a Zubat, so I've actually really appreciated how ubiquitous they've always been. I really love bats in real life too. The way their ears waggle around, their delicate little wings. I really want to get the opportunity to handle a bat at some point, but you need vaccines and special permits. You can't keep them as pets without having an obscenely large enclosure (to the point you're less keeping them as pets and more creating a wildlife sanctuary) because of how far they establish their territory, so the only way to ethically do it would be to volunteer at a bat conservation shelter.

What Game Freak needs to do is stop being retarded, and release a universal competitive battling game that just gets regularly updated, and that can store millions of Pokemon.

That way you can remove the idea of a Nat Dex all together, and relieve the workload of having to bring back every mon with each game you make. Effort that can go into simply making even MORE mons, and just expanding the regions with quests and content, and mons that best suit them.

Or a good ammount of them don't have evolution or only have a pre-evo. Alcreme and the turtle more than likely got shafted of an actual evolution.
