Any of you tried Android on your homebrew Switch? If so, how was it? Thinking about trying it with Netflix

I have a hacked Switch with tons of pirated games, idiot.

I just don't see the point of "homebrew" anymore. It's a CFW to pirate games. Back when the Wii was hacked, yeah, you could play DVDs on it, use it as a media station, an emulation box on the basement TV. Back when the vast majority of devices didn't do that shit and TVs were just dumb terminals.

But now? I have several phones, I have a tablet, I have a laptop, I have a PC, I have a gaming console (with media streaming capabilities) on every TV in my house. I don't need my Switch to do other things.

It's only purpose is playing Nintendo exclusives. That's all it's good for. I can't imagine using a Switch for anything else because everything else does it better.

Finally modded my Switch around the time this happened and heard about it but have very little interest in setting it up. Most entertaining thing I'd seen regarding it was somebody trying to play OSRS mobile.

I'm buying a hackable switch for that too not just free games.

I've seen better babbys-first tablets that cost $60 at walmart. The Switch is a *remarkably* shitty tablet if we're just looking at it in terms of a tablet. The only noteworthy thing it does is play video games, and among those the only ones you should actually want to play are the Nintendo exclusives because, for fuck's sake, get another console or PC and play them in higher quality somewhere else.

Playing Doom wads and apk with gzdoom/zandronum. If it works better on Android I might install it just for this with Delta touch. There's also easy to use mouse/keyboard support on the latest version of Android so it's eventually going to be fucking dope. It completely crush that shitty version of doom available in the Nintendo jewstore.

used it a couple of times and worth it if you want DS games on the switch even if you don't have the flipgrip

Only SXOS (the paid one) can run XCI

XCI are NX Cart Images they are direct cartridge dumps and can only be ran directly with SX OS
NSP is Nintendo Submissions Packages which are titles installed to the home menu any CFW with sigpatches can run them

Why would I install android on my switch? Honestly I fail to see the point. Is there some emulator or some special feature (and no watching cuckflix or lurking cuckbook or cuckstagram is not a valid feature) that only runs on Android?

a lot of people specifically like the android versions by taxman and stealth.

you can if you overclock, not all games run at full speed, but about half that i've tested do. Some wii games work too

I would only do that to play the android version of DQIV. Anyone tested that?

Tried it but it's not worth it until you can swap to an Android payload on the fly without needing a dedicated micro SD and a computer/android phone to boot it. My phone basically does everything it does already anyways
