So I finally beat Control.
What the fuck kind of shitty ending was that??
Control thread.
Control
You paid for a tech demo?
Zoom zoom
>He didn't get it.
Thanks to HOODLUM
I finished this tonight as well but I don’t really get the complaints about the ending. What was your problem with it?
I just got done with the punch card puzzle and am starting to get bored. Too easy now
Shit I meant to spoiler that.
So suddenly she's with Polaris but her brother ends up in a coma who she came for yet finally accepts the position of Director after telling Polaris how much Dylan means to him and she doesn't give a shit about the Bureau?
Why the total 180°?
Samefag.
Yeah no shit I deleted my post to spoiler it.
Too late, you've already ruined the entire game for me. It's pointless trying to finish now. DAMN YOU.
My life is literally over, I hope you're happy.
To be honest it's still one of the most fun games I played in a while.
Yea I enjoyed it.
To the question. I think maybe you missed the parts where she says or suggests she finally feels a home or alive for the first time running around the oldest house. And that with what happened to her brother the research there might be the best chance of helping him. Not to mention the lock down is still in effect so supposedly hje couldn't leave anyway.
I caught it, but still.
So as from someone who has played Alan Wake but never beat it.
How does this tie to the whole Wakeverse?
Fuck do I do with these TV's with the fireplace on them? threw them in the furnace but nothing happened
There's some notes that mention it as an AWE and I think a room (that I still haven't found yet) that has his type writer I think.
Haven't finished it yet, but I'm really enjoying this game so far. Everyone seems to unanimously agree that the ending is the worst part, so I'll prep myself for that at least. Honestly, with the way the game is, it feels like it would be hard to pull off a good ending for a game like this. Unless the endgame is amazing and then it completely fucks it up.
Either way, game's fun, lore's interesting, really like feeling like a god.
Even from the dev diaries, gameplay was the main part of this game.
I do enjoy the story and creep factor, though.
This game is pretty good but boss fights are garbage.
I was hoping for a stronger creep factor honestly, I was on edge for like the first 3 hours expecting it to turn creepy but it never really did, pretty solid atmosphere in general though
There's literally only like 2 boss battles.
And by boss battles I mean in that Astral plane.
Did you miss the part when she told Polaris she was actually happy in the Bureau ?
did you not do the sidequests?
>Tommasi or whatever his name was x2
>Anchor
>Mold-1
>Former x2
There's 4 bosses and 6 fights. It sucks there's no final boss though
Both credits rolls were anticlimax AF
remedy haven't been allowed to actually finish a game since max payne 1. expect a much more satisfying conclusion in the dlc, same as alan wake's last two episodes.
Anyone else unable to complete the mold missions and the fallen friends dog-tag missions?
There appears to be some bug causing them to be unbeatable.
Patch fucking when?
It was underwhelming and extremely anticlimactic. The side quests are the best part of Control because at least they try interesting things.
