Just as an FYI, the vanilla version of FFXII is tortuously boring. I did over 95% of the content and finally beat the game fairly recently and can safely say that it was a tremendous waste of time.

If you value your time as little as I do and have decided that you're a bad enough dude to suffer through 160 hours of pointless shit, then by all means go for it. But I'd strongly advise against it.
