Some cheap keyboard I bought at Wal-Mart for $10 because gamer gear is fucking retarded and will not make you better at the game.

Some rubber dome keyboard
I don't really care for the gamer shit

Model M

Input Club Kira, and a HHKB.

Ive had the same razer mechanical for like 7 years and still works great

Don't fall for memechanical keyboards.

$15 piece of shit that we deploy to workstations at my job.
No.

glorious pc gaming race keyboard with gateron clears. very cringe brand name but luckily there's no logos or names on it. no where else to get a keyboard with gateron clears.

nothing wrong with them
mechanical keyboards are for fat neckbeards who get tired from a bit of typing because they're just that fat

/thread

I have this one with the brown switches. I've had it since like march 2017.

some $35 compact with otemu browns. keycap edges are a little pointy, but works fine

how’d you arrive at that conclusion

Got my K70 off craigslist with Cherry MX Reds for $40 years ago. Actually just deep cleaned it this past weekend. There's also that new G-Skill mechanical that came out for like $60 recently.

I miss this old aesthetic
That IBM logo is classy as hell

Any razer chads here? Got the ornata chroma

CM Quickfire TK
It's cheap for a cherry mechanical kb, has NKRO and just werks.

So do I

Finally a properly shaped keyboard.
Nordic ISO > ISO >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ANSI

Logitech K800 for HTPC and QPAD MK-50 MX Red for gaming PC here

Razer Anasi, the extra sets of keys are enjoyable as heck

It is scientifically proven that ANSI is superior to ISO.

>all keyboards posted have Numpads
good job everyone
you get an exception because that looks antique.. how old is it?

>mechanical = gamer shit

retards

This.

Almost 27 years. In truth I prefer a numpad as well, but a full sized M is almost a half a meter long and I simply don't have that much desk space, so it's a compromise.

Attached: IMG_20190905_111716.jpg (1333x1000, 955K)

Same one. I love the smoothness of the Flaretech switches, but none of the games I play support the analog controls well.

Redragon K551 blue switches

Honestly i switched from a super old blackwiddow and it feels much better imo.

And the price is super fair, especially for cherry switches.

>murican scientists said so

I quite liked the Wooting as well, but I was a bit disappointed by how hollow the case was. A bit too much reverb for me. It was indeed smooth as a loli's ass, though.

model m chad no.1391401 reporting in

Literally me
I wish it was a tad bit bigger though.

fuck that looks so appealing to type on

I got das keyboard professional 4 for 50 bucks and it's pretty good
Cherry blue switches are okay

Tenkeyless with mx blacks for gaming. Model M for typing.

Imagine being this retarded

Hell yeah

i am using this one currently and it is not satisfying

Horseshit.
I just had to put mine away because the Model M design doesn’t have n-key rollover. You can get away with it on the more chad capacitive Model F, but you really can’t use an M for anything but typing.

same except i use the superior anglo design

I believe I grabbed that in a Keyboard Mouse combo. I've been using it for my laptop, and it's been great. I tried moving it to my newly built desktop, but I found it could not keep up with games that were too intense. Had to go wired there.

Just got a mechanical keyboard today since I was curious about them. Pic related. I haven't broken it in yet, but I'm enjoying how easily it responds to input.

Attached: TesoroExcaliur.png (700x500, 249K)

I have never had a problem playing games with an M or any other keyboard that doesn't have NKRO. I can see how something like fighting games may cause an issue, though.

You can also always diode your M or buy a FSSK PCB if you have an SSK if NKRO is really that important to you, the former is a pain in the ass, though.

Attached: 718+7TfoieL._SL1500_.jpg (1500x1500, 150K)

Keyboard I soldered one saturday. Kono whitefox with cherry browns -from a keyboard i desoldered which was a pain- and two hako switches for the FJ keys. As much as I enjoyed it it was fucking expensive.

This one

Attached: 81Hmw6+DYeL._SL1500_.jpg (1500x938, 111K)

Desoldering is a huge pain in the ass, not something I'll ever do again.

Reminder that mechanicals are a legitimate advantage if you play something like shmups or RTSs that benefit from short precise taps or quick double taps

Reminder that all you need is a basic n-key rollover mechanical keyboard and not a """gaming""" one but if you like pretty RGB lights a simple one is also acceptable

It will break in a year or so

Really? I see them all the time on craigslist, but they're too far away so I just post the ads on deskthority.

I am using a wireless USB mouse but sometimes it stutters a lot on video.

Still using a keyboard HP

I never seen something like that...

Weird. Where do you live? I'm always checking craigslist for stuff like that and whenever I find them they're usually not that cheap.

Ducky One.
MX Reds.

Brown switches are the ideal switches. Don't get the gamer or red switches, too little actuation force.

AKA scratchy Reds. Use Clears instead if you actually want to feel something.

brown switches arent even linear; theyre terrible for gaming for multiple fast precise inputs

>mechanical = gaming
the second keyboard on there is mechanical you dummy

the full sized version is only 14 bucks more
should I get it?

hhkb lite2 uses membrane, not mechanical switches
amazon.com/gp/product/B0000U1DJ2/

Membrane and the use of mechanical switches are not mutually exclusive things. The HHKB Pro and the Lite versions both use rubber domes, the difference is in their sensing / contact mechanism; the HHKB Pro uses Topre switches, which, while still rubber domes, are electrostatic capacitive and utilize a PCB. "Membrane" and "rubber dome" are often referred to as the same thing, but they aren't related to switches at all. Pic related. It's a membrane.

LMAOing at this keyboard and mouselet

I have a Das Keyboard that I've had since 2011

This. Just fell for gaming mouse meme this week. I bought a corsair harpoon last weekend and honestly couldn't tell the improvement compares to my $2 chink mouse aside from being wireless and being able to adjust the sensitivity from the get go.

I love my Vortex Pok3r 60% keyboard with after-market keycaps from aliexpress.

My HyperX headphones have been working for almost 3 years now.

A logitech g512, it does the job for me and was only $70 so it's okay i guess

Attached: g512.jpg (425x425, 17K)

That's because they cut left shift in half, which is retarded because we all know left shift is the only shift that matters. They should have cut right shift, that one was already half a unit longer than left shift and the characters make more sense being added to the already-established punctuation cluster.

My Royals got too clicky for me to handle unfortunately.

I can never go back to full-size again.
Too bad i fell for the rgb meme since all i want is white backlight and clear white does not seem to be one of the 16m colors.

Attached: vortex pok3r.jpg (1280x720, 173K)

It's not very good for gaming but it's good for typing and I type more than I game these days so...

$50 chinese one with "blue" switches
works fine, feels fucking great after rubber shit

Corsair K75 RGB
Raised keys for easy and quick cleaning with compressed air.
Cherry MX red click-less switches because fuck that noise
Corsair's software is great for making macros and scripts.
All three of these reasons were major points in choosing my keyboard. I am very satisfied with my product even if I spent nearly 400$ on it.

Are those antennae?

No, supports to raise the keyboard.

Only the BEST!

Attached: AlphaGrip_Keyboard_on_a_Desk,_Jan_2014.jpg (968x809, 503K)

True that. However they also made the backslash key normal size which is a good thing.

red k70 with mx blues
definitely corsair's best product aside from the dirt cheap vengeance lpx RAM, they go for a good price secondhand and got a nice solid aluminum body

Attached: feels good man.jpg (580x529, 73K)

K70 Strafe sometimes, but my main is just a cheap-ass Rosewill K85 Neon I picked up to see what blues felt like. Haven't felt the need for anything else yet.

Corsair K55 I got for $20 on sale, fuck paying full price for something as simple as a keyboard.

This makes me realise its been a very long time since I've actually looked directly at my keyboard. I like it though, shame about the wimpy function keys.

This keyboard is all I'll ever need. Mechanical keyboards are some ultra autistic shit.

Attached: 1564089721692.jpg (400x400, 16K)

Boy she is thick, coiled cable too. No numpad but no girl can reach perfection without a little flaw built in.

corsair k70 low profile

I may use my best buy warranty and replace this with the new logitech mechanical wireless low profile...Mostly because the fucking software always loses connection with the keyboard so its rainbow all the time instead of using my programmed settings

Attached: Press_10-24-18_01[1].png (974x625, 560K)

corsair k70 with blue switches

i had one of those with blues and honestly liked it better than the one im using now

I've gone through quite a lot, but always seem to go back to my Corsair k70 with mx reds. It's just the most comfortable for me to use.

Attached: g11_3.jpg (1000x569, 258K)

lol sooooo overwrought and fuckhuge

It certainly is fuckhuge but it's perfect for me. I'd only want a mechanical version of this but there is no alternative which keeps all the features.

I would say the same but I hate not being able to do specific inputs.

>but there is no alternative which keeps all the features.

huh? of course there is. there are tons of alternatives that keep all the features, the most obvious being the new g815/915 which are too expensive atm.

absolute top tier typing experience thanks to the pbt keycaps and aluminum backplate, also saves more desk space for synths and keyboards

Fuck off
this is a keyboard thread
not a mouse thread

Do you like the Wooting? The switches seem like a meme to me but I've heard they're the smoothest switches out there

Not sure on g502 even though I own one, but don't get the Deathshitter for sure.

Did you put the Logitech induction mouse pad under your big one?

any decent keyboard for $50? i was planing to buy the tecware phantom, its just 45 and looks good enough

Attached: 8f5xcm1g95hx.jpg (480x475, 36K)

There are only 5 g-keys on that. Sure the feature is still there but it's not equal to the G11. Likewise I wouldn't accept other keyboards which have media keys with no volume roller either. Afaik every mechanical board sacrifices the number of keys except maybe the original Corsair K95 which I've heard has a problem with LEDs going out after a couple years.

ducky with speed silver

Ducky One Two with this Midnight Blue color scheme, Cherry MX Blue switches. My dick gets hard from my keyboard picking up on my microphone when I type.

why not deathadder user? I was interested in it since its bigger than g502

there's 1 flaw that these corsair keyboards have that I haven't seen anyone mention, the fucking numlock/capslock/scroll lock lights are fucking BRIGHT
maybe my room is just too dark but that shit is distracting to the point where I have to cover it up with something to make it less bright, it's so distracting

My 15+ years old Saitek Eclipse.

>he looks at his keyboard when typing

It's not that bad really, but it breaks way too fast.

Better wheel, better sensor, more buttons, better software, can add or remove weights to it.
Try to find one and grip it to see if it's too small for your hand, at least.

(you)

why do gaymers use those mechanical keyboards? They're loud and noisy, sure they're more durable, but even if a cheap shit keyboard breaks after a couple years, you can just replace it with another one for the fraction of the price a gay man keyboard would cost.

Attached: 1568113632330.jpg (811x811, 62K)

my mechanical keyboard is quieter than the membrane one I had before

>sure they're more durable
I, too, love it when dust gets into my switches and makes it produce duplicate inputs

LOL you fucking loser.

Ever heard of double shot keys?

Attached: IMG_4247.jpg (4032x3024, 2.28M)

I wanted to get one of these with the 10-key included. Would have saved me money, but I'm 36 and grew up with the IBM keyboard and trying not to get so caught up in nostalgia these days and went with the Huntsman Elite. Flashy af keyboard. I put the double shot keys on and it looks fucking solid.

Hope that keyboard works out for you brah.

a good mouse and headphones matter much more

>More mouse space on right hand side
>Arrow keys on the left for dumb Japanese games
>Number keys on the left for easier number entry
I don't get why this is a "left-handed" keyboard and normal keyboards are "right-handed".

Quality is good, but considering the price it could be better, not to mention the knock-off Cherry switches.

Attached: black_left_handed_mechanical_keyboard_large.jpg (1000x750, 89K)

No, because that would make me gay.

The cheapest chinese keyboard with faggy rainbow lighting i could find on amazon, it's worked flawlessly for years.
The mouse that came with it started sticking after a month so i use a 10 year old HP mouse from an old family PC, the wheel button doesn't work well.

I never understood why people use split keyboards? Ease of use? Compact? Wanna explain user?

Are MX browns just a meme or are they better than reds?

Attached: 9.99.jpg (800x800, 63K)

No it doesn't. Touching your own dick doesn't make you gay either.

Is that what you keep telling yourself to be able to continue living with yourself, gaylord?

MX Browns are just scratchy reds.

>corsair k70 rgb red switches
>logi g502

I will probably keep these for the next 10 years, so I have no issues spending extra money on quality

Attached: IMG_20181213_215558.jpg (888x1323, 179K)

I was dumb and bought a razer ornata. Now I have a faggot razer gaymer keyboard with their stupid razer software that needs to be always online to even be able to turn off the leds.

They're a meme in that they're marketed as a tactile switch but they're among the least tactile non-linear switches ever made. They're fine for people who genuinely enjoy lightly tactile switches, but for people looking for any substantial level of tactility, the fact that browns are held as the standard by normies is irksome.

You can be perfectly straight and still like dicks as long as you don't like other men.

Razer makes the shittiest keyboards in my experience. And they're incredibly overpriced, too.

Oh well, at least you learned.

BLUE SWITCHES OR RED SWITCHES Yea Forums???

BROWNFAGGOTS MAY NOT APPLY

For years I used the Logitech K120. I decided to go with my first mechanical keyboard with the Logitech G Pro. It's fantastic.

If it's just for gaming then linears are probably the best. I always felt like reds were too light overall though

black

Blue feels a lot better, even if they are louder. If you just game, then I guess red.

I dont know i bought some membrane shit from sharkoon that feels like any other mechanical and some shit tier mouse with autoclicker built in.
Enough for me. What matters the most is the sound.

My old ass office tier keyboard started to die on me yesterday, recommend me some shit under 100$

Ducky Shine 5 and Topre Realforce. I switch between them every few months.
