Dumbest way to say it is Fallout Shelter + SCP, most people hate to call it that but that's the broadest way to put it. Mostly every day you choose an abnormality out of 3, and you hire agents to work on them to gain your daily energy quota for the day. You have four options to work on the abno's and each abno likes certain works done on them. Abno's will also have unique criterias for each one, like if you send someone too weak or too strong to an abno they can straight up kill your agent or breach their containment cell, which then you have to fight them back into their cell. The energy you collect from each abno can be used to learn more things about them and to obtain gear specific to that abno. As time goes on you have a huge puzzle facility where screwing up on one abno will cause them to murder some employees, and then you forget to pick up your ticket so the train starts chugging along to murder your employees, and then you have an abno that hates seeing employees die so they breach, and then one abno hates seeing other abnos breach so they breach, and since that one just breached and walked by a different abno chilling in their cell, that one breaches. The game's motto of "Face the fear, build the future" really comes into play when you realize that gear you get from the higher difficulty abnormalities is almost a necessity in the later days.

It's really easy if you are patient, a friend beat him with three level 4's agents that survived Binah's suppression on the previous day. Just stick everyone into the elevator closest to the eggs, and send the ones that won't be healing the eggs due damage type to damage them. If Apoc bird teleports inside that room just get your agents away, you got a solid window before it attacks, and if people get hypnotized then pay attention to them and move them when they reach the room the bird is on.

Take your take more than usual. Early on focus on doing ALEPHs as much as possible to build up energy, then later when you have only 1 type you can handle it's okay to work on the same abnos multiple times. If you have a setup with some really crummy abnos it's okay to work on mostly weak ones to progress through meltdowns. Also you can use da pause button.

I literally didn't even make this far, I keep getting mad over not being able to make through later levels even with 100% knowing what are the good points of each unit.
Is micro managing your guys to dodge abilities and work around whatever hazards some K-pop meltdown causes something I need to focus on as the game progresses? I really hate the tard wrangling in this game due to how little control you have, and managing the select unit when someone is being drowned with worms is pissing me the fuck out.

With some of the harder stuff, yeah being able to micro your agents will be useful. Otherwise the game offers ways to deal with stuff without needing to micro, bar the final few days, you will have to man up and learn how to move your agents.

You need to learn to prepare for ordeals. Also you can abuse the pause buttom bu pausing, selecting your dudes and sending them off to do something, then when the enemy you're fighting is winding up to hit you, pause and select everyone and click a hallway/elevator/room behind the enemy to dodge. If you're good you can do this without pausing.
If you're getting game ended by Dawn worms though you need to get better abnormalities to get better armor which happens if you play the game longer.

Maybe this kind of game just isn't for you. Later on the game basically forces you to cut your losses and accept deaths.
I remember how, in my first couple runs, I knew every single employee by name, I knew what gear they had and even made up autistic little stories like how they interacted with their fellow chads. By the end of my last run, I already went into days expecting people to die, and by day 49 I would've literally taken any loss. The game is just designed like that.

If there's multiple threats on-screen, expect to be a lot of pausing on your part. You'll be doing a lot of micro-manage dodging a lot later in game, and the game even seems to encourage you to do that based on Nothing There's attacks (one of his hits is a one-shot, but take a second for it to wind up).
As a management genre, the game also expects the same level of managing with your agents fighting.

I think it's at least half my enjoyment of the game, watching my employees grow and coming up with silly characterizations and ridiculous convoluted LORE. Too bad Eva's WAW gear ended up being the death of her during a Chesed-boosted green dawn and I was too exhausted to remake her after her demise got imprinted

I don't mind losing units, though. I expected this to be the same approach as Darkest Dungeon, grow your characters but expect them to get axed by RNG. Hell, I lost several units because I couldn't figure out why the notes kept making them pop until it was revealed. My issue is that I did that and got cornered with no LOB points later while having no high level units because they died.
Damn, I really love how the game works but getting people to stop clown shoeing around pisses me the fuck out, I guess I just need to exploit pausing and throwing agents around more. Had some ignoring a clown sabotaging a door right in front of them because they were supposed to Suppress the Ordeal but were going for the one who teleported across the whole building.

If you start a new run without the original 12, yes he'll select a random handful of 12 agents/clerks to convert. One agent will always convert however, so you can have someone to confess with if you don't want to actually fight him.

They're not infinitely spawning. Also, clerks are useless, and at a certain point they become a detriment when you get clerk rights activists. Don't worry about them. The general strat when you first start macing them is to just group everybody into a giant deathball, or two and run away then attack when it's safe. Use elevators to your advantage.

If they're moving in one direction down a long hallway, long range attacks actually won't make them turn around so you can get a free kill. This one is, again, really self explanatory. Rather than putting all your guys in a single death ball, leave them in elevators and main rooms so they can run into hallways when they spawn in there and move the other way. Only fight one head on with a ranged nugget who you're going to be able to pay attention to and micro. The Complete Foods are an annoyance, but ranged attacks and fast weapons deal with them quickly. Don't have nuggets with slow weapons target them.

VS Battles Wiki (a site notorious for exaggerating and wanking characters' powerlevels, in case anyone wasn't familiar) has basically claimed that since the amber dawn worms instantly appear somewhere else when they burrow, they must have burrowing speeds over a dozen times the speed of sound or so, and the strength to dig through solid steel. They then powerscaled every other abno off this, despite everything clearly moving at non-hypersonic speeds and normal humans (clerks) not instantly dying to the worms' attacks. It's disgusting. There are some legitimate powerhouses in LC, but scaling everything off a gameplay mechanic abstraction is absurd.

Lobotomy Corporation, it's a monster collection and management sim inspired by SCP and similar stuff. You get monsters and have to figure out how to extract energy from them without them breaking out and killing your employees. Then you use the extracted energy to create equipment to gear up your employees to handle more dangerous critters, and so on and so forth. It's also got a great soundtrack and some pretty interesting lore, though the translation is a little rough around the edges. Very good game, would recommend if you liked SCP back when it was good or are a fan of management games in general.

Here's how you solve it without opening an external program or using pen and paper IRL: pick 4 useless employees, equip one of them with bloody desire suit, one with loneliness suit, one with somewhere spear suit and frost shard suit. Use the elevator rooms in control department (for example) to represent the original positions of the work button, and move the employees around, with the suit representing the color of the work to the actual corresponding elevator room which it now represents. Very simple.
