Do you want to pretend to be Ringo?
John Lennon does extra damage to all women fighters
If Ringo’s alt color isn’t Jon Lennon, I’m going to be pissed
>that yellow submarine side b
it's just a fucking better wonderwing lmao
Yes I do
-allllriiight-
MUH DICK
>their fucking strawberry fields final smash
That shit is broken and is the reason final smashes are banned
The Beatles are overrated.
Would rather have Rolling Stones DLC desu
I gotta admit user. At least this thread is blatantly being jokey about it.
I laughed, fuck you
How many genres did your favourite artist invent
Reminder if you don't play them in their original costume alts you're a fucking secondary.
>silver mallet starts playing if you pick upp a hammer
If the Beatles got added, what songs would you want included in the game?
I’d go with:
>Help!
>Come Together
>Back in the USSR
>With a Little Help from my Friends
>Taxman
>Penny Lane
the are right now just give it a few months and people will realize most of their specials are actually easily punishable and they'll settle to solid mid tier I think
replied to wrong post?
my dad is from liverpool and is amusingly stereotypical, ask me anything
when are they gonna fucking nerf him?
Does he beat yer mum
HABBENIG
not at all, scousers are extremely family orientated
How many links away is he from somebody who was at Hillsborough?
In all seriousness Liverpool is one of my favourite places on earth, I have a lot of nice memories there and I think it gets a bad name
Kek
His final smash leaked
Who?
based jackson estate keeping the music away from sony so that we can have some sweet remixes in this game
BASED
he was in hillsborough. he felt somebody crushed to death against him and he himself was one of the lucky ones pulled up to the stands above.
Some shitty British alternative to the Beach Boys
Does anyone have the Giorno smash image with these words?
they will be nerfed next patch
Kanye when
Imagine all the people
WTF i believe MJ jackson is innocent now?
didn't read the spoiler before I responded, I have only been to liverpool as a child when I didn't have a choice and he took me there. I was literally not allowed to speak on the street because (I now know) I would have been beaten for not having a scouse accent, and I wasn't allowed to go anywhere without adult supervision. I will never think fondly of the place. every relative I have from there is also almost comically racist.
THE FACT THAT
You bet they are
Going with ones that would work well for a fightan game...
>Hey Bulldog
>Helter Skelter
>Back in the U.S.S.R.
>Help!
>Tomorrow Never Knows
>Paperback Writer
>now
>ever believing jewish media
>he doesn't play with the Ognir Rrats alt
Sgt Peppers (Reprise) but extended and looped
Also Hey Bulldog
OHNONONONONO THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING BEACH BROS
>Starts talking amongst themselves in the middle of a song
Ah fair enough, I used to fuck about in the North West for the music scene so I was more in the city itself and not the suburbs where I imagine it could be like that. I do recommend a day in the city though mate, easily one of the most cultured places in the country with some quality museums, galleries and small venues.
Do George's attacks get weaker or stronger after Eric Clapton cucks him?
Oh he did it. But I don't care
How come The Beatles get Rhythm vydya but there's still no Buddy Holly or Beach Boy vydya?
Beatlesmania has and always will be an utterly different level to any other sort of fan following.
Possibly licensing issues or the music being to expensive to bother.
Rock Band 3 did have one Beach Boys track though.
>The Velvet Underground
More than The Beatles
HAHAHAHAHA
>He's a Lenon main
youtube.com
DING DONG
>The Beatles: Rock Band was a decade ago
>no chance of an HD remake of the only Beatles rhythm vidya ever because Harmonix is in the fucking gutter nowadays
Paul's echo fighter is Billy Shears
Beatles music is so fucking expensive to licence I don't see it being done again. Rock Band and Mad Men are the only two things where I've heard actual Beatles tracks play
Fuck the bitch soys, where's the motherfucking Kinks?
If anything they're underrated
Super Smash Bros Ultimate x Black Sabbath cross over when?
Stop falseflagging you autist
>implying David bowie isn't already confirmed
So we can all agree that Ringo was the best Beatle, right? The others didn't narrate Thomas the Tank Engine
>dude heroin lmao
Nah
>Not even the best British band
will his final smash be him singing "woman is the nigger of the world"?
Pepperland map is going to be awesome
Hard Day's Night is a safe choice
If they want to go for bonus irony points, Money Can't Buy Me Love
AND IF A DOUBLE DECKED BUS
yeah more like brian peppersland
Unironically true but the Beatles made better pop songs.
>Help!
Even Rock Band couldn't get that song, what makes you think Smash will?
>Yoko Shimomura doing an upbeat violin cover of Strawberry Fields.
Sakurai, make it so.
I BEAT MY WIFE TODAY OH BOY
LUCY ON THE GROUND WITH BRUISES
>not exclusively playing sgt pepper ringo
Ask me how I know you're a pleb

i can picture it so fucking vividly

>Yellow Submarine Stage
>Nowhere man
The Beatles Rock Band was such an incredible passion project for the people who did it. The devs had to jump through so many hoops, because they not only wanted to liscence the tracks, but also get the ORIGINAL studio cuts. Songs like Hello Goodbye, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, and quite a few others have one noticable, unique quality to them in the game- they don't fade out. The developers wanted that "studio feel" so much so that they contacted George harrison's son and George Martin's son in order to help negotiate the terms of using the original stereo studio tracks.
It's a shame the game didn't sell better, every little bit if it just screams SOUL.
I forgot to mention- the dev team needed access to the original master recordings of E V E R Y T H I N G, because they needed to separate the different instrument and vocal tracks into, well... different tracks. That way, if the guitar player drops out or starts sucking, the guitar track actually falls out of the mix. That required digitization of all of the separate tracks for each recording, something that Apple music absolutely refused to budge on, and only let them try once Giles Martin was signed as the music producer for the game.
STONESFAGS ON SUCIDE LOVE
PEACE AND LOVE PEACE AND LOVE
Was he right?
No. Scaruffi is an overrated hack you likes the smell of his own farts.
Anyone who says that critics are the real artists are just jealous hacks.
I'll fall asleep. The most boring band in the world.
The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" rock band ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art. Jazz critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Duke Ellington and John Coltrane, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Classical critics rank the highly controversial Beethoven over classical musicians who were highly popular in courts around Europe. Rock critics are still blinded by commercial success. The Beatles sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Jazz critics grow up listening to a lot of jazz music of the past, classical critics grow up listening to a lot of classical music of the past. Rock critics are often totally ignorant of the rock music of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that the Beatles did anything worthy of being saved.
NO FUCKING WAY
I hope Giles makes a sharethread gives us a master of the OST
Here comes the Scaruffi brigade.
You fucks makeChristgau look good.
That's interesting user. I wanted the game when I was younger but my family didn't have money at the time. My aunt had it tho and I watched her play it from time to time.
>Following the attack, Harrison was hospitalised with more than 40 stab wounds, and part of his punctured lung was removed. He released a statement soon afterwards regarding his assailant: "He wasn't a burglar, and he certainly wasn't auditioning for the Traveling Wilburys"
Harrison would break the meta
Don't tell /pol/
honestly itd be pretty rad if axel steel or johnny napalm from guitar hero got in.

Personally more of a Queen kind of guy.
>Personally more of a Queer kind of guy.

Reminder that no other Beatle had a post-breakup line-up nearly as good as George's
God, I remember reading about this when I was little and being legit freaked out over it
George > Paul > John > Ringo
>yfw this is their final smash
Paul's entire post-beatle catalog disagrees with you
You sure about that? youtube.com
Not that clever
yup
>Queen
Quite a few
Paul is the only one with ANY musical talent
That first album is immaculate. Such a shame Roy died, would have loved to see them keep going.
Is my Spotify list based?
Okay. Have a nice day, user.
youtube.com
Was he right Yea Forums?
Both of you can shut up now.
Jet, Let Me Roll It, and Maybe I'm Amazed are the only post Beatles songs I like from him. I'll always like George the best because Something is one of my favorite songs ever.
Oh me? I main Lou Reed
>that guitar solo on The Invisible Man
Probably among Brian May's best if we're being honest
This is neat.
>something that Apple music absolutely refused to budge on
huh, I imagine out of fear people would rip and steal the individual parts?
>1st Impression Part 2
It's not Trilogy, Toccata, or Tarkus, but that's still pretty damn based.
>Supertramp
My man!
Supertramp is my absolute favorite
Too bad they only have, like, 15 good songs, but that's more than most artists can say
I really don't understand why they felt it necessary to make his final smash a borderline scat porn
Yeah I’m with you, their history is quite interesting as well, kinda like Fleetwood Mac in that regard. Shame they split the songs, would have been great to both Davies and Hodgesons respective takes on each of their songs.
His best was at Bohemian Rhapsody, as mainstream as it is
Pleb picks. The best ones would be
>Do You Want To Know a Secret?
>Paperback Writer
>Girl
>Tomorrow Never Knows
>Rain
>Abbey Road Outro Medley (Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End)
>Dig a Pony
>Savoy Truffle
>Brian's best
Bohemian Rhapsody
>Everyone else's
March of the Black Queen
My OHP has plateaud hard, push press isn't helping that much how to fix?
>one Beach Boys track though
>picks the worst SMiLE track
Came here to see exactly this comment
Childhood is liking the Beatles, adolescence is thinking the Beatles are overrated, adulthood is realizing the Beatles are underrated
very based user!
I'm very surface at them so thanks for the recs
Yea Forums would beat us to death
Yeah I’m with you, their history is quite interesting as well, kinda like Fleetwood Mac in that regard. Shame they split the songs, would have been great to hear both Davies and Hodgesons respective takes on each of their songs.
ELP has a pretty small catalog, I'd honestly recommend giving them all a listen. Essential would be
>Emerson, Lake, and Palmer (1970)
>Tarkus (1971)
>Trilogy (1972)
>Brain Salad Surgery (1973)
They are a phenomenal live band. Despite it's horrid audio quality, the 1974 live album "Welcome Back My Friends..." is a wonderful snapshot of their playing ability. Raw, unadulterated energy on stage. The "Live In Zurich" concert can be found on YouTube, and features tracks from the self titled album and some of Emerson's work from his previous band, The Nice.
"Pictures at an Exhibition" is also quite good.
Now, the bad news. After thier hiatus, ELP never recovered. The works album is good, even great, but its acquired taste. Works volume 2 is a hodge-podge collection of old singles and a couple of ok original tracks. Love beach is... well just look at the cover for it and you'd understand. "Canario" is really the only "up to the standard" track on the whole thing.
The 80's Emerson, Lake, and Powell is ok, touch and go is a good pop track but the rest is mostly forgettable.
90s ELP is hit or miss. Black Moon is ok, In the Hot Seat is worse than Love Beach.
Video related is a snipped of ELP's live debut of 1970. Its good shit.

>While my Guittar Gently Weeps

Add these and is better
>Owns the biggest, most expensive music catalog in existence it being his own
>Cucked the Beatles out of their own music catalog and pissed off the jews at Sony so much that they had to spread false allegations and kill him
>International icon
>"Tommy Mottola is the Devil"
>Fashionable, chad-like wardrobe
>Not only the King of Pop but also crowned an actual king
>His funeral service had a billion people tuning in to pay their last respects to him
OH NO NO NO HOW WILL BEATIES EVER RECOVER
Oh, and I should add- when it comes to progressive rock, ELP is... strange. However, a large part of that is the fact that they were all about a year ahead of their contemporaries in Yes, Genesis, and Jethro Tull. Hell, Emerson was even a personal friend of Bob Moog, and demo tested synthesizers on the road for him. News outlets at the time had trouble nailing down what genre they were. "Aggressive Rock", "Electronic Rock" or even just "Electronic". The Synth """drop""" in Trilogy really showcases that. ELP was, in a word, revolutionary. They traded a guitar for a synthesizer about 10 years before anybody else. 80s electro-pop wouldnt exist if not for Emerson.
IT'S MY LIFE
IT IS NOW OR NEVER
I AIN'T GONNA LIVE FOREVER
Will there be a Faul echo fighter for Paul?
Or the other way round?
fucking got em, user
Such as?
Gotta be brutally honest, I'd want Lady Madonna. It's a great song and needs more love.
youtube.com
Good picks
>inb4 "But Lady Madonna's not an iconic song, why would they put it in?"
They put in Lord Woo Fak Fak's theme instead of Grunty's theme, all bets would be off by that point.
