She was the second real playable dragon character introduced and she has a neat design. You can complain about her personality or whatever, but all the characters in TLOS were boring, she was hardly alone in that aspect. Spyro himself behaved like a totally different person, if Cynder was in the old good games she could be turned into somebody more interesting. I wouldn't mind having all of the kid dragons re-introduced as playable characters for some new game+ content. There's no in-universe reason against it, and it would be fun to hear different dialogue.

Again, not him, but all those changes are absolutely tiny in the grand scheme of things, and were likely changes to make her fit better alongside the established Reignited style.
All the elements from her DotD incarnation are there, just changed a bit for a new artstyle, much like Spyro before her.

Weirdly, while most of the time I'm like this with exactly every franchise no question (Sonic being a noteworthy example), I don't have any animosity with the LoS series. That series of games is so far removed from the real trilogy + 2 games that they barely even register as being from the same franchise, aside from the titular character obviously. Unlike with other franchises where they feel like they're taking the old games and just straight up shitting on everything that made them good, the LoS almost entirely separated themselves from what had come before, to the point I enjoy both eras of the franchise as if they have nothing to do with each other.
And not going to lie, I like Cynder's potential as a character, as she brings a nice dynamic that doesn't exist in the originals, to bring back Sonic again, pretty much the Blaze to Sonic's Spyro. If she was brought back in a Spyro game, I'd have zero issue as long as her personality wasn't 1:1 her LoS incarnation and actually fit with the rest of the characters.

- copy the drawings of artists you look up to and you'll pick up on some of their tricks
- use lots of reference, it's not cheating some people claim it to be, builds up your visual library
- while drawing for the sake of drawing is good, you'll improve much faster trying to train a specific skill or body part
- some books on drawing won't hurt but I find that you can easily find tutorials online that explain the same stuff much faster and clearer
- watch a lot of youtube tutorials and apply what you learn
- and you know, google fundamentals of art, these are important
I also subscribed to that Skillshare website some youtubers have been shilling, it's not that expensive and contains some great hours-long classes on useful stuff.
