If Advance Wars is as great as Yea Forums thinks, then why did the series die?

because japan hates good things

but it doesn't have idolshit

I have not, sell me on it.

Because Waifu Emblem sells to millions of retarded casuals.
Also see me in Dual Strike faggot, Olaf/Drake will make you miserable every single day from their first tag even if you eventually win.

it's fun

I like fun but you can do better user. It's your time to gush about your love for the games.

I once played a map where you play as the long range specialist and basically set up a chokepoint above a valley where the enemy is and shit rockets on them and it was very fun watching the enemy eat shit from my sheer amount of rocket units

I can't even beat the first one. Am I retarded? I'm stuck on one of the later levels with Sturm.

I never beat the first one either, user
but only because I lost my copy

it's an RTS game but turn-based. you need to balance expanding your territory and income, getting powerful units, and spamming rocket infantry against an opponent who also does the same balancing act.
really i could see a crossover between Advance Wars and something like Command & Conquer or Supreme Commander as one that revives AW and the chosen RTS series in the eyes of the consumers, provided they don't fuck it up.

Days of Ruin was not the ideal business decision
and nintendo is retarded

You don't understand how lucky Advance Wars is to have died it might have suffered the same "Waifu sim" fate as Fire Emblem now..

>they made 11 OC factions purely so people could play 16 man FFA
based

But I did
Sensei best CO
Sami a shit

gay

I also never beat the first one since my douchebag "friend" stole it along with my gba sp

it's fire emblem but you buy units using territorial control
it's probably the easiest turn based strategy to just pick up and play but there's plenty of strategy and a good amount of variety
