why do you think silent hills = PT (which was a tech demo actually)? kojima would probably put some action gameplay into it, add bosses and regular enemies. re7 was also in first person and it had a lot of action. but generally speaking silent hill was never meant to be a fully action game.

It was a radio broadcast from PT if I remember. But in PT, Lisa would attack you if you actually looked behind. You had to cower in a corner or some shit and wait for the door to open.

P.T. has a great atmosphere and good design but lacked actual gameplay or even content.
Gameplay may not have been in the forefront of sh but it was definetly tied into the horror

Sadly, yeah. It's a little rough around the edges with some legitimate flaws like the backtracking, odd stock sounds for enemies and less impressive texture work (compared to 3) but it's a worthwhile horror game with great atmosphere.

Okay, so hideo is the creator of mgs 1 3 and peace walker. Kojima is the creator of 2 4 and V, theyve helped eachother make all of the games to some capacity, but somewhere along mgs 4 their egos started to clash. We haven't heard from hideo since peace walker, and now that kojima is with Sony, a lot of fans think hideo is working on mgs 6 with konami, but who the fuck really knows. I was convinced hideo was gonna come out with the demon edition but that faggot caramel rused me again.

True but let's be honest user. You really didn't have to solve any puzzle to complete the demo. To get the correct ending yes you did but the puzzle solving was at best optional.

Well sort of, remember user it was a survival horror game. Ammo, health, and weapon management was also very important part of the horror aspect of the game.
P.T. probably would have more aspects and even more gameplay to it if Konami gave it a chance but who knows.
