I will forever speak up about how MG Survive wasn't that bad
It was the same team minus Kojimbo. He always wanted a zombie game anyway. It wasn't canon so the story was never supposed to matter much. It wasn't given all that much dev time so it's impressive they managed to make it worth buying at all, and it really was worth it at least for the co-op, which the game was designed for until they were forced to add last minute single player.
It's a decent enough little spin off.

Far cry 2 gunplay is great. Most issues lies in doubious design choice, such as the respawning outpost and the limited variety of side mission, which feels repetitive quite quickly (and I'd go as far as to say it's the only major flaw outside the bugs). The rest is fine, but I totally can understand that to be a major turn off for some people

5s has some of the worst AI I've ever seen though both friendly and enemy. The guns and vehicles are better but I dislike the setting.

Far Cry 2 is the best out of the whole series. It had only two flaws. ONLY TWO - the timers for nigger respawn and malaria infection which is too short and the weapon jamming occurring too often.

What i did not like about FC2:
Respawning outposts (not that they respawn, but they respawn while still being in your sight - respawn was tied to the distance, not the time)
Forced buddy system
Weapon condition/breaking (that system is some fucked up tedious shit)
Lack of proper stealth weapons
Stealth being a very difficult thing to pull off.
Otherwise its great.
