Just the GOTY
Just the GOTY
Should I buy it and does the pc version have controller support in the epic games store?
Control is too smart for gamers
Pirate it, don't worry it won't hurt the developers
Yes and yes
there's no way to reasonably buy the game on PC so your only choice is to pirate
I liked the game, hated most of the characters.
Only ones I liked were Langston, the Maintenance bro and Janitor
Is the Janitor a part of the Old House? Or maybe a Norse God? I noticed a depiction of the Ygdrasil tree in the 'roots' of the house, where the janitor goes on '''holiday'''
I'm not poor and I don't have time to go through the trouble.
Sweet thanks. It looks like a game better played on the couch with a controller and I've never purchased a game from the epic store before. Was worried about their controller support.
What trouble? It's literally 2 clicks. One for the magnet link, one for setup.
It's not about the money, there's just nowhere on PC to reasonably buy it, unless you want to use a chink storefront.
The Old House is the Ygdrasil Tree and the roots of the world, maybe every world
Enjoy mining for other pirates
This game was made for journalists, and it's painfully mediocre.
Dude you're the exact reason pc gaming nearly died and turned into the cancer we know today and why we continue to get no love from developers. Kys.
A generic third person shooter with cheap soap opera acting is GOTY. I guess if you really really like Brutalist architecture and mediocre SCPs, it might be and I guess 2019 isn't all that great.
Admit it you're just a poor fag. You would've pirated it no matter what. Quit reaching for dumbass reasons for muh gaymer outrage. It's like Denuvo all over again.
got it for free with my GPU, DLing it now
>JUST
Fixed
What are some worthwhile sidemissions?
Just solved the Gamle puzzle and the mirror world puzzle with the doppelganger boss.
Considering how much Remedy loves Norse references in their games, it's high possible. Though he seems much more....godlike, I guess, than Tor and Odin from Alan Wake (though we never saw them in their prime either, only hearsay). I hesitate to refer to him as any one god in particular because he doesnt really directly resemble any of them, but hes definitely got a connection. The Oldest House is very likely Yggdrasil itself, manifested in a way that reflects modern sensibility rather than a giant tree and the "Foundation" being the literal foundation of the Earth and the pillars its roots.
I unironically enjoy the game. It's been a while since I've been this invested in a story of a video game(yep you guessed it , I am a triple A fag).
Most of them are worth doing. Resolving the Mold quest line, the Refrigerator, and the Active Threshold/Anchor quests probably have the most direct payoff in terms of content.
Why does this game's gameplay look so much like a generic western tps? Standard gunplay with some underwhelming "super powers"
because it is
All of them duh
But my favorite were the altered items side missions
And why do the Japanese keep making the same repetitive hack and slash over and over again. We'll never know.
This game is literal proof that Yea Forums is full of contrarain zoomers. This is half life in a new skin.
>OMG it has ugly woman protagonist, OMG ugly black woman
>OMG same enemies over and over
this is what Yea Forums's asshole prolapses about no wonder you get BTFO by lefty cucks calling you incels because you literally are, when the game is great and the best one Remedy has made.
I love the setting and atmosphere.
Gunplay is painfully mediocre. The powers gimmick is cool but it really just boils down to dodging and throaing shit at people.
When combat just becomes an annoyance and you want to get it over with quickly to get back to exploring, the dev fucked up.
yikes tranny, dilate
>support publishers they can barely feed their kids :(((
imagine actually believing this
Well desu even in the rare cases where japanese make tps theyre usually the same as generic western tpses only worse or more shoddily constructed
>It's like Denuvo all over again
?
Denuvo was and still is cancer. Are you implying people are unnecessarily annoyed by it? Dumbass.
It's the devs who can barely feed their kids, but no surprise it's because the pubs refuse to pay them a living wage.
So is it a buy?
20-30 bucks. Pirate it.
I would buy this game if it was on steam but 505 and epic can eat shit
its a great game to pirate though
Don't play this game with a controller
The story feels a bit lacking. Right when stuff begins to ramp up, suddenly the game is over. Had really cool setpieces though, lots of potential for a sequel.
It's obviously not finished yet, 505 most likely made them work on story DLCs to keep sales going.
There is still areas locked down
Out of curiosity, why? I'm playing KB+M and althrough the controls are fully customizable it feels to me like the game is designed with controllers in mind.
Why? I'd rather take in the graphics on my 4k TV. It looks like the type of tps that doesn't benefit much from mouse and keyboard.
not him but it feels like janky shit no matter how much you edit the settings.
The had already two DLCs announced at launch.
too bad there wasn't a PC release
>it feels like janky shit
Yeah that's my impression on KB+M and i figured it might be because it's intended for controllers.
Im talking about controllers, i played KB+M and it was good no problems at all
What the game urgently needs is an optimization patch.
The random dips in framerate annoy the shit out of me.
Gave it a try yesterday, great physics and movement options, very fun to play, a lot better than I expected. Is it out on Steam in a year?
Haha
This game was optimized as fuck, the most optimized AAA game i've played to date. Not a single dip or slowdown, loading was fast and fluid. This game ran 1000% better than Ancestors which had my GPU on 99% and 80+ degrees C
i7 7700K
32GB DDR4 2400mhz
GTX 1080ti
Wait... Are you telling me it's on Tim? I won't have to worry about being a moralfaggot after pirating?
Well the devs already got paid by the publisher, the publisher got paid by Tim and the game has no DRM or uses Unreal Engine
it really is on Tim, pirate the game and enjoy.
Fucking this. For a moment it seemed like you would possibly go into the different dimensions using the slide projector and discover the beings there.
I was considering it for GOTY and then it just fucking ended. I also hated all the shit with her brother, it was so pointless.
>best one Remedy has made
>Alan Wake, Quantum Break and Max Payne
what an accomplishment
Someone post the chin/jaw comparison
>it really is on Tim
This Tim guy sounds pretty based. Thanks Tim!
she's not in the normal real world dimension, they are all trapped inside some alternate reality dimension that melds the future with the past, that's the entire reason she is the director, she actually controls time and space, can warp reality on the fly. The janitor is the smartest person there who simply just accepts the reality they are forever lost inside another world.
>Admit it you're just a poor fag
I have a lot AAA full price games... on Steam
>456 games on steam
>36 on gog
I don't think so. Stop giving money to the yellow jew, retard.
Immersion ruined...
I love how it ties into every other remedy game. Either directly or knowing references.
Alan Wake in everything.
Report of an NYPD Homicide Detective that showed unusual agility and seemed to dodge bullets, but upon investigation appeared to have left the country.
Quantum Break?
Where can I pirate it without contracting computer aids??
not even best SCP game, lol
yeah I'm too scared to download without a VPN, and I really don't want to pay for a VPN, so I'm fucked regardless.
An altered object was recovered from a Warehouse belonging to the Monarch Corporation. Quantum Break itself has reference to a secret government agency. The Bureau of Altered World Events.
Death Race is mentioned on a white board in Containment.
yeah tim paid for my copy too!
