The Switch has a large install base so why does it not get more support?

The Switch has a large install base so why does it not get more support?

It's not even like the Wii where the only reason it was getting so much support was because it was appealing to non-gamers. The people buying Switches are people who actually want to play real video games and are discerning enough to not just pick up random shovelware.

I don't follow. There's literally too many games to play.

There aren't any good racing games.

ib4That'sTrueForEveryPlatform

Grid Autosport if that counts (I know its really old).

It's also not really that good.

Although I am someone who liked GRID 2.

>Cherry pick that one single niche genre that's all about immersion and high-fidelity graphics on a large livingroom screen or VR that would be retarded and impractical on a handheld
>Ignore literally every publisher and developer currently in business porting their entire catalogues to Switch on top of tons of first party exclusives
>GUYS THE SWITCH HAS NOGAEMS LOL

kys

It's what I want to play, you deepthroating faggot, so kill yourself.

>XBOX has Forza
>PS4 has Gran Tourismo
>PC has Project Cars
>Switch has Mario Kart

And that's about it with the racing genre niche .

I'm sorry OP but that's just the way it is. You picked the wrong console to play racing simulation games.

Because the system is only capable of running 3rd party games from last generation

Because it cant run anything unless its designed specifically for it

Astral Chain looks alright because the style is designed around the systems limitations

But Witcher 3 looks like total dog shit

It's getting every game I want to play right now, and more than half of them are exclusive to it. The only exception is Cyberpunk, I guess. Which looks worse every time they show it if I'm being honest, but I'll still play it on PC because I'm a sucker for the genre.

>Witcher 3 looks like total dog shit
The fact that you can play it at all on a handheld the size of the stb swith lite is amazing user

But it is true for every platform.
Shit, if I wanted good racing I'd play Assetto Corsa on PC, or Redout if I wanted to cry over no new F-Zero.

Sure, but the market of "people willing to specifically buy this game ONLY on Switch" will never be larger than the market of just making a game that can already run on PS4, Xbone and PC and then move on to your next project. Specially since the Switch version will always be the worst looking one, and specially in handheld mode which would be the only reason to want that game in first place.

The PS4 is already everywhere, so it'll always be the platform of choice. And you can release anything made for that on two other ecosystems, so why go out of your way to spend money to make a Switch version that isn't even guaranteed to sell that well?

Switch also has Fast RMX

>if I wanted good racing I'd play Assetto Corsa on PC

Far too hardcore to be fun, fuck that noise.

This is such a stupid fucking thing to say
>but the fact that YOU can play it with the worst graphics and performance is cool dude
>also cool that you have to fork over 60 bucks where you could get the game for 15 anywhere else

>The Switch has a large install base so why does it not get more support?

Because most kids who have one only play fortnite on it

Git gud faggot

Who cares, Give me Animal crossing and let me die..

If you have a high-end gaming PC and already beat the Witcher 3 it's retarded I agree

But imagine being a 12 yo boy who has no other console and just got a switch for christmas

He can play the the entirety of the Witcher 3 and he can do it on the crapper while staying at aunt bertie's place over thanksgicing

Imagine being so jaded that you can't see the appeal of full length AAA RPGs on a handheld

I enjoy racing games that don't emphasize realistic car performance, thank you.
