The Fallout 3 ghouls were boring to fight, the Fallout 4 ghouls were unfun to fight, why they decided to give them spastic animations that made aiming at them a chore I'll never know.

That's wrong, Fallout 4's ghouls were one of the rare improvements that game introduced.

Fallout 3 design is iconic and recognizable. Ghouls in 4 look like generic zombie things which could fit into any game.

>iconic
nigger please. i entered this thread because i thought that OP's picture was the common undead enemy in dark souls 1. their both generic looking bullshit. one is just even shittier.

It's shocking how the ghouls from 3/NV have more detail than 4

Fallout 3 came out before Dark Souls I.

This
But when Obsidian just copy pasted them into NV they were the most fun to fight

>NV could have been far better than 3
>only had a year to develop as opposed to 4 years
>obsidian managment still fucking some things up
>still ends up being more interesting than 3

I want Obsidian try to do TES just once. Sadly there wouldn't be any Chris Avellone writing though since he's done with them.

I never noticed until now how the feet are just (barely) textured blocks, jesus. Is there an actual possible reason why these guys got such a massive downgrade in 4? The only thing I can think of is to accommodate them being in large swarms but I don't think they are in particularly larger numbers when encountered than they ever were in 3/NV

>reusing shitty vanilla Skyrim feet on a fucking Fallout 4 ghoul

great job, bethesda.

Ok

god, you're such a retard. just post in gamer threads instead if you can't form a decent argument

Why would they bother when nobody noticed until now?

Only good things about them is dismemberment and the way they move.

I think Skyrim modders fixed that issue themselves on Day 1. It's on Bethesda if they bring back old shit models and textures even though the mod community shoved something better up their idiot ass.

>waaah why aren't you sharing my contrarian opinion
>gamer???
Stfu you basement dwelling neckbeard.

I really liked that weird thing they added of them just lying around on the floor dormant until potential food wanders near
