What was the most uncomfortable game you've played?

A really fucked up text adventure posted on /f/ based on the children's show Gullah Gullah Island.
You played as one of the children from the show attempting to escape while the father and the side characters have gone insane and are trying to kill you. The deaths are written in gory detail, and the one about falling down a shaft and suffocating upside-down in the dark with only a rat skeleton to keep you company sticks out in my mind.
I have to punch myself in the head whenever I think about it because the image my mind drew when I read that paragraph will never go away and it keeps me up at night.

Anyone got any really obscure creepy game recommendations? Not stuff you'd see on a "surreal exploration" or "essential horror" list, but anything you know of that doesn't get mentioned on Yea Forums often?
I remember a thread that mentioned some kind of game that people were freaking out about. Don't know the details but the name had something to do with "circus" or "carnival" and people were freaking out about it. Anyone know what it is?

For some reason fleshy things that shouldn't be fleshy are very uncomfortable, such as the level "Gravemind" in Halo 3.
There are other games like this with weird flesh growing on walls, ceilings, and floors and it's always a very odd sensation.

Please check out Mibibli's Quest. Its a Megaman on drugs type of platformer, i played it a few years ago and sadly not too many people know about this game. It has spooky/weird moments too.

Phantasy star universe offline/story mode. PSO had a naturally creepy atmosphere but since PSU was designed for online play, you were wandering the full sized towns and hubs. And since there was no players, you had these silhouttes of people walking around in big spaces with PS2 textures and lighting. Then some levels you were on an island and the water looked like the abyss, or in an abandoned dark temple, or an artificial grassy plains. It was an innocent and light hearted game but it was always off putting/scary to me

it's a really beautiful game with the ocean reefs and insane variety of fauna and flora, but it being an ocean game it always had that potential edge to unnerve
swimming directly down in the deeper parts of the ocean always fucked with me. like looking up directly in the sky when it's clear and there's no clouds.
nothing blatantly creepy or horrifying, just the uneasiness.

I feel like I'm running out of air whenever I play ocean games like this and subnautica
