Here's an interesting theory...

Here's an interesting theory, the Smash DLC seems to be following a pattern based on what we've seen from Smash 4's newcomers. Ignoring Banjo, it goes like this

>2 RPG characters
>Smash 4: Cloud, Corrin
>Smash U: Joker, Hero

>1 fighting game character
>Smash 4: Ryu
>Smash U: Terry

Now based on this, it can be assumed whoever the last character will be a shooter of some kind, which can range from anywhere between FPS (Doomguy, Heavy ect), action shooter (Dante), or survival horror (Leon, Jill)

And assuming this does hold up, it would be fair to assume the next pass will roughly be similar with the "Banjo" slot being the wild card of sorts

Is this true? I dunno, but it's something to think about.

>ignoring banjo
Kys patternfag

>following a pattern
No it's not.
All "patterns" are bullshit.

That's simply because there's was no previous newcomer that fit since there was only four last time.

Autismo supremo.

Fuck kontact full version.

>muh patterns
You patternfags already got your "muh mural companions" theory BTFO'd. You can fuck off now.

Care to explain how?

Gee I don't fucking know, maybe the fact that Terry doesn't have a goddamn companion in the mural.

>Now based on this, it can be assumed whoever the last character will be a shooter of some kind
In what fucking world does this make sense with your logic?

>patterns
It often feels like smashfags are incapable of learning lessons.

his hat

We don't know shit about Terry, and by the simple fact it is Terry only helps it with the high chance of this happening

NOT REALLY A FUCKING PATTERN THEN user

Does Bayonetta not use guns user?

Does excluding something really make it a pattern then?

5 is not the same number as 4
Wild concept, I know

That's not a pattern, that's grasping at straws

Because there weren't 5 characters in the Smash 4 DLC user, only 4 were actual newcomers.

Breaks the pattern then, doesn't it?

You haven't proven me wrong you know
One outlier doesn't change anything.

Except it ruins your entire argument.

No.
If anything it just adds a new layer to it if true.

Except it doesn't.
It might muddy it a bit, but the argument is still there.
