HEEEEEEEEEEEE BADEBADEBADEBADEBADEBADE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Attached: Magical Truck Adventure.jpg (350x309, 52K)

Holy shit OP, thanks - this was one of the only three I bothered with in our arcade. The other two were skeeball and Magical Truck Adventure

Attached: 2781cc9c486f8c4b25fff5d30e4e2d3e.jpg (550x764, 69K)

We had a version of this machine that had a talking spider lady on the front that would react when you got close. The first time my Mom ever took me to an arcade it was the literal first thing I saw, and when it started talking at me I panicked and cried so hard we immediately went home. Thanks for reading.

Imagine if you were turned into a spider if you failed haha

Attached: 1545447692706.png (850x1168, 2.26M)

The "arcade" at a campground my family went to a lot back in the day had this machine. At least a couple of the buttons were forever broken and jammed in so you couldn't hit them, but the bored teenagers working in there didn't care if you just crouched down and hit them with your hands, so it was always super easy to get tickets.

cute

I pushed so much money into this.
Always Colossus

Do you wanna get stepped on user?

For me it’s House of the Dead

Spent way too much cash on this fucking machine every year when the carnival was in town.

that looks so god damn confy dude.

i loved every single one of the silent scope games, the fact that most of them were made using the Metal Gear Solid engine was a bonus.

thanks to VR i can relive all my memories on the arcades too.

Last time I went to the arcade I go to was such a fucking disappointment. Pretty much every gun game was broken in some way, at beast the force feedback wasn't working and the calibration was off
The 3S and ST cabs were gone, Macross was gone. I couldn't find Tempest either
They opened a second location this year iirc and it seems they moved all the good shit to there, they even have Tekken 7 cabs in the second location
So fucking gutted, I rarely get to go there and now I don't even want too any more if I can't play any of the games I really liked

I've played it in a couple places. It was actually in a mall in a small town in used to live in. Though it wasn't there last time I looked.

Fuck yeah, man.

The arcade I frequented years ago had one of those.

>It was actually in a mall in a small town in used to live in
Are you me? I sincerely hope no one else had the misery of growing up in Kingsport.

House of the Dead 1 and 2 are peak light rail shooter. FUCK 3 and 4.

Based. Loved this game. Very disappointed when it broke and was unplayable at my local arcade and replaced by Let's Make a Deal.

Why my local arcade got rid of this for some soulless knockoff I'll never know.

GAMERS ITT:

LOOTBOXES ARE BAD
BUT REMEMBER ARCADES OMG KINO

Attached: 1565417942722.webm (640x360, 557K)

it used to be marketed as an arcade for adults because it had a restaurant and a bar inside. Its game selection used to actually be pretty good but it was always pricey. Over the last few years they started replacing shit with mobile games put into a fucking cabinet like said, and tried making it more appealing to the kids (yet you still need to be accompanied by an adult if you're under 18)

>crawl up that shit when nobody is watching and insert every ball in 100

Arcades only cost you a few quarters per game and you pay based on how skilled or unskilled you are. But nice false equivalency anyway, retard.

Ex D&B employee, it's a shithole
All of the games are rigged, fighting games are not allowed (Except the Injustice card game) the food is shit and the employees will intentionally ignore you if you're not a woman or a child
My boss made me take the rubber claw grips off of Bling King because too many people were winning, it's literally impossible to get a prize now

Chuck E. Cheese for adults
It's mostly shitty redemption games, scaled up mobile games, generic racing games and other normie stuff.
There's still usually a few good games though, my local one has the new Time Crisis and DDR, and the food is alright. It's worth checking out at least once but nothing to drive across town for unless you're desperate for arcade games.

imagine if one of the spiders was your penis

Spent so much money on this.

You think that's bad? We serve something called a "Pretzel Pizza Pullapart" The picture on the menu shows it as a pretzel knot filled with cheese, sauce, and pepperoni. The real thing is literally just unsalted pretzel bread with half a pepperoni glued to the side to make it look like it's full.
It's plain bread sold for like $10

Hydro thunder

Is there any particular reason why Japanese pusher games aren't welcome in the States?
I think the only times I saw anything remotely resembling them was a single Pachinko machine in San Francisco with the extra ball drops disabled, and a marble shooter, that apparently has neither the progressive jackpot nor the eAmusement Card reader that the JP version has.

Used to play this with my mom at a place called gigglebees back in the day... miss those days big time

If you could own any arcade cabinet, what would you want it to be?

Why not just play at home.

My dad always used to win us an absolute fuckton of tickets with this machine. I don't see it around anymore so I can't even figure out how to do it myself.

thats like looking at porn vs paying a hooker

Holy shit user, I've been looking for this specific machine for ages!
Thanks user, my life long journey is finally over.

For the same reason people didn't play video games at home.

Either Ollie King or Arctic Thunder.

I've always wanted to try one of these cabinets out. Anyone know the location of one of these?

Round 1 Arcade near me has this game (you use two guns and can combine them together in different ways to create different guns in game, pretty fun, if hard to get used to), along with a boat load of rhythm games (Sound Voltex best one). I need to go there more often.

fuck off zoomer retard haha

Oh fuuuuuck I remember playing this when I was a teenager. Fucking love this arcade

This pissed me off because the controls were inverted. Even if that was ok for the flying part it fucked me over on the light saber fights. Fuck I loved that game though

Played this one a year or so ago at a local arcade. Super fun.

There was an arcade called Hollywood Connection where I lived and I'd always go mainly for this. Looking it up on YouTube it hasn't aged well at all but I still have fond memories of me and my dad playing it and air hockey

The roller rink I went to sometimes as a kid had this but it was on a normal cabinet so half of the screen was missing. It was odd.

Sorry to break it to you, but it sucks, and that's coming from a big F-Zero fan.

There's like a full second of delay in the seat's hydraulics and the wheel's force feedback, making it almost unplayable, there's also only 4 tracks, few characters/vehicles and no grand prix mode.

If you want to play it, it's in the F-Zero GX disc, you can unlocking with cheat codes.

I always loved how it would blow air in your face and made the game feel immersive.

Attached: arctic thunder arcade.jpg (598x600, 95K)

The thing was each arcade actually controls what parts are inverted. Sometimes it would be only y is inverted, somtimes x is inverted too.

And yeah, I wish the light saber segments at least allowed you one miss, I never beat boba fett, though I did manage to beat vader once.

I'm gonna cheat and say a Neo Geo with Metal Slug 3, Magical Drop III, KOF 02 (would do XI for nostalgia but if I recall that was when they finally dropped the original hardware) and some other fourth thing.

If you aren't gonna allow me that then Street Fighter Alpha 3.

Puzzle Bobble is nowhere near the best game ever or even remotely on my "favorite games of all time" list but it's definitely the kinda comfort food game that I can always just play when I'm having a shit day and relax a bit. Love that little game.

>Get to the t-rex

God I remember this so vividly

You know, I couldn't tell you. I snagged this picture from elsewhere. Doesn't have the telltale carpet pattern of Round1, so I know it's not that at least

I unironically want a remaster/remake of CarnEvil in VR

Attached: CarnEvil2_1024x1024.jpg (638x828, 119K)

Thanks user

Back when i was a kid, there was an Arcade i loved.
It about cops where you had to drive and shoot. Player 1 had the driving wheel while player 2 was on the passenger seat. I cant remember the name tho.

I miss gameworks. There used to be one in vegas under the m&m and coke museum, but I think it's a clothing store now.

There was also one in DFW where I went for my birthday a few times. I remember one of the times, someone crashed into the mall's transformer literally like 5 minutes before we arrived. After that one of my friends said he needed to go home early. Fuckin traitor.

But yeah, gameworks was cool. They had a special where you got like 2 hours of games for a pretty low price at around noon.

Can’t forget about these guys. R-right?

Attached: 9BA14C71-5FFD-40C8-A908-114E93BCD37D.jpg (378x750, 219K)

Man I wanna like taiko but every time I try playing it (have the switch version) I just can't get my head around constantly switching from drum hits to rimshots. I guess I could just use one of those characters that makes it easy and doesn't care about that but it would just be gimping myself.

It's me, Goldman

Oh my god, I think I remember this game. I seem to remember it was single player though, you had to drive and shoot at the same time.

I remember seeing it only once at this arcade that used to be near my house where everything was a nickel. They called it nickel ranch.

>legit want to go to Japan just to visit their arcades

I also played Tekken 3 but I was terrible at it.

god i fucking miss going to arcades. the ones in my area are either all shit now or long closed-down

I too enjoy getting drunk and photographing people through windows.

Pinball FX3 got the license for most of the good tables that TPA lost.

I never got into DDR, but my friend here is a monster at IIDX, and I am completely addicted to Jubeat. We played the shit out of both of them in Japan. Back stateside we'll roadtrip a few hours to go to arcades that have both machines.

>To this day, finding a CarnEvil arcade machine or buying your own is still the only way to play it without venturing into the hazy legality of emulation territory. It seems odd, because series like House of the Dead, Time Crisis, and Point Blank all managed to carve a niche for themselves on home consoles, complete with their own plastic gun peripherals. "There was a home game in development," says Pikulski, "but instead of a straight port, the company doing it wanted to create an original game using the IP. It was very strange."
>In what would've been a perfect fit, CarnEvil was even being concepted for one of those 4D rides you'll sometimes see at amusement centers, with patrons strapping into a hydraulic seat that moves with the roller-coaster motions on-screen, similar to Disneyland's Star Tours. "The original Midway Arcade Team focused on developing a Consumer treatment soon after concluding development on CarnEvil - especially after hearing that our sales had exceeded Mortal Kombat 4 Arcade," says Haeger. "The broad concept was that you'd enter Greely Valley Cemetery on the Haunted Hayride with several of your friends. Trapped inside, it was up to you to rescue everyone before sunrise. Bonus waves including a river ride were included."
>Sadly, the 4D ride never made it to market - though I wonder if footage of that hayride still exists in a dusty archive somewhere. As to who currently owns the CarnEvil rights after Midway filed for bankruptcy in 2009, Haeger isn't sure. "Think it's all buried under a rock in Iowa somewhere, and only Warner Bros [which purchased most of Midway's assets] knows the legend," he says.

I played this when we had an arcade at a mall in Oceanside, CA.

Last I heard it's now a buffet place

Wait, like there's a house of the dead 5? Or do you mean 4? Cause 4 was good

this shit was a leg workout man. also playing it multiple times and finding tiny little cracks to shoot through made me feel like I was almost cheating.

I seem to remember watching a video that showed that that one is literally impossible to single token. It just gets really bullshit as it goes along.

Yeah a new one, Scarlet Dawn

NOW I'M ANGRY!!!!!!

Hard to say whether DDRMAX or EXTREME was where DDR peaked, but I remember when my parents would take us to the mall and give my sister and I $20 each and drop us off at the arcade while they window shopped... The DDR cabinet was front and center, right at the entrance of the arcade so it was impossible to miss.

For the time, we thought it was pretty cool being able to hang out with and keep up with these hardcore motherfuckers who were decked out in rave pants, dreadlocks, and fluorescent strips all over.

What's more, there was no bullshit like input lag or other weird shit that could interfere with the play experience. Shit, this wasn't even something people knew about or considered in the CRT era.

2019 is a tough year to like DDR. Can't trust that the arcade near you will have a machine that functions well enough to play. Lag, machine issues, and other shit... Straight up better off buying or building metal pads and playing Stepmania at home for hours and hours.

Ruined by boring Stage 5, the polar opposite of DFK, the later gets better from Stage 3

Watch Japanese Arcade Videos on Youtube.

It's always the same couple doing them and they never try different arcades at all and can't even recognize the difference between Digimon and Pokemon.

Feels pretty sad but wow, Japanese Arcades really treat their customers well. Arcade Prizes in Japan are actually worth the money, even arcades aimed for children.

I seen Sanrio Arcades hand out grand prizes that have a high resell value.

Makes me wonder how Japanese Arcades don't go broke.

>boring Stage 5

If you’re ever in the Miami, Florida area, there’s a place called Arcade Odyssey that has that cabinet. Its pretty fun.

Still up and running. Damn i missed see DDR everywhere. Last i saw was in Arcade Odyssey where they had a perfect machine. Other than that, a local LAN house (Versus in Pompano) that had a ITG hacked machine that was removed recently. Damn i miss them so much.

I only find PIU machines in Brazil when i go there now....

red neogeo with metal slug or soul calibur 2 cabinet

legend

It's full of boring streaming patterns bro. The main theme's motif is not as strong as in Stage 1, YES I know you are in Hibachi's lair and the atmosphere has to be strong but it certainly is not on par with other Stage 5 themes composed by Namiki.

DAYTONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I can't into DDR and PIU for some reason but I prefer dancerush when it comes to movement-based rhythm

I remember there was this one game where you drive an ATV through like jungles and stuff and it was cool because the atv you are riding on moved with the game and your character in game got dirtier as the game progresses.

I only saw it at a movie theater though.

Yeap, though I'm quite shit at it at this point mainly due to being a fatass.
Can barely clear double 12's at this point...

I've got a pinball table but I'd dig a NeoGeo, especially if I could get a candy cab for it.

Isn't Dark Legacy a straight upgrade to Legends, though?

Mind dropping a link to that video? I used to love that game.

I work at a indoor funhouse place called Iplay. I’m in the arcade it’s a good job with friends. Only problem is customers are dumb shits and I will never get pic related out of my head. We also have a Wizard of Oz coin pusher that goes FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD every 10 minutes

Attached: 91DECFA3-7EEC-4630-A6F8-B8ADE2BA2F08.jpg (3024x3024, 2.07M)

Americans will never understand.

I have one of these.

It is. Nostalgia works in strange ways.

Apparently there was a 32 player version of this thing or attack of the zolgar

Shame Round 1 is awfully run in America.

It's a completely different experience because Round 1 in Japan owns the actual building for their arcades including the property.

Round 1 in America just rents space from Malls that are losing profit and therefore want to squeeze out as much money from a sucker like Round 1. More rent money means less attention to customer service for Round 1 and less refreshes/updates for Round 1 locations in America.

I just think Round 1's CEO doesn't see the inevitable bankruptcy he will experience for trying to make it big in America.

The Arcade Culture in America is also very different from Japan's. In Japan, office workers after getting off from work will head to arcades, spending more money than children.

In America, the customer is not willing to put as money into the arcade machines as the Japanese.

If I was CEO of Round 1 and really wanted to not half ass an attempt into the American market, I honestly look for locations near big universities like "College Towns". I would not be renting space from dying indoor malls.

I made my own bartop for pennies.

This game sucks.

>used to work at D&B
It's sad that these are the only arcades you can find anymore in most cities, because the game selection was mostly shit.
>rigged redemption games
>scaled up mobile games
>generic racing games that havent been updated since 2002
>shitty movie promotional games
>no fighting games
The only fun games were the new mario kart, guitar hero, DDR and to a lesser extent the korean DDR knockoff whos name I cant remember. Also the people that would come in everyday to play DDR were all autists who were difficult to deal with and the managers would just make fun of them.
Also big buck hunter hd was pretty kino but im probably just saying that because I was really good at it.

What does it feel like to live in a city with an arcade in current year?
All mine died in the 00s and now all we have are D&Bs with ticket machines.

>tfw live in a city with a handful of arcades

best neogeo game of all time

Hey, my big fat american hand needs IL Eurosticks.

fuck this game, in fact fuck all coin ushers in general. I cant count how many times these things would jam up on people or the cards would get stuck.

what components does it use.

Arcades dont charge you $60 just to get in to spend more money

All the good arcades are in those indoor fun places or the Boardwalk. Unless your roadtrip for a specialty arcade

Ok, that actually looks kind of fun.

But, I've long since given up DDR and other dance games in favor of real dancing (lindy hop/swing) which ends up being cheaper and more entertaining on average than any rhythm game.

I know but I love it

It was a shooter like Time crisis, but it had a buncha minigames and was super cartoony

I was also hard gay for Ocean Hunter.

>Blinking red CALL THE STAFF
>open it up
>kids try to reach in and grab cards
it’s awful

I like DDP, but this game had generic enemy designs and was too hard to be fun. The anime characters were its only saving grace.

Best shit right here.

Attached: pointblank.jpg (725x1080, 170K)

I'm trying to remember this game, it was a shooter with 2 doctors/explorers or something and the whole point of it was to do all these different minigames you could choose from. Anyone have any idea what it is?

Police Trainer?

My parents "played" this together at a Gameworks by holding one of those handles each and then holding hands. I don't remember the outcome but they got pretty competitive with it.

The big thing in that game is you can destroy all the shit in the background. I remember 1 crediting that along with Time Crisis 2

It was mostly a physical arcade game

NICE SHOT, RAMROD

it was basically the same mission 4 times just reskinned

Played that at coral island in Blackpool shit was so fucking cash.

Exactly. Gary Todo The Golden Ticket it’s all the same. Even worse when they try to complain or try to trade extras for the rare cards

Kinda cool I guess, but I prefer having the special peripheral since I assume it's just pistols.

I liked the shotgun peripheral in 3. Though I remember that it took me until the sloth boss to realize you didn't have to pump the shotgun after every shot and that the pump was the reload.

The thing I honestly hate most about the Injustice machine is how it tried to ape what Japan does with stuff like SDBH or KR Ganbarizing but worse

>No IC Chip, uses fucking printed barcodes
It was a huge letdown.

not if youre dedicated
or you just really suck
yes arcades made it easier to eat your change

Because they get customers 24:7

yes,and?.jpg

I played the shit out of that game and always picked the girl

>$0.25 equals rng as bullshit as .01%
>49.99 worth of rolls means if im skilled enough it doesn't matter if all I have is 1* pulls

damn user your brain is like next level alien intellect

new retro arcade

They close up shop yesterday no more super arcade.

Actually Scarlet Dawn has no Pistol option due to it wanting to show off its usage of the Unreal Engine by cramming areas full of zombies sometimes. Special Option is akimbo machine gun

I just meant peripheral wise.

Is it the smg from 4 then?

Do you even have to ask?

I spent an entire summer doing adderall and going to the local arcade all day. We spent a majority of our time playing Melty Blood and pic related.

Anyone play those stupid fucking marble pushers? My round one opened with a Konami brand marble pachinko game. I always thought I was above this sort of thing but hearing the marbles collide against the collection bin triggers something in my monkey brain. I've already collected the set of cards they shit out twice. Gotten at least 10k in tickets from those things easy

>his sons probably sold most of his arcade cabs and statues because they weren't interested in the same stuff their dad was

Sad

>big flashing buttons instead of a joystick. Literally just rock paper scissors but with an Injustice overlay.
What the fuck. This reminds me of a Terminator game I played at Chuck E. Cheese four years ago and it was mostly scripted, like an interactive movie you shot at when appropriate.

Attached: cute2.png (280x252, 19K)

Can you post a pic? Sounds neat
I saw something kind of like this as an ad during Konami's KAC stream but I'm not sure if it's the same thing

I was really good at hitting the jackpot for this. nailed it almost every visit to the arcade

Namco Classic Collection Vol 1 and 2.

Yeah. It's admittedly cool to gun down a hallway of zombies too. Also the voice acting is just as shitty as it always is

There was an initial D game at the gameworks in my city that had the seat hanging from a thing above you, so it would actually twist sideways as you drifted.

At the time I had no idea what initial d even was, I just assumed it was another racing game, so I didn't like it. Wish I could play it now.

Here in FL there is a place called arcade Odyssey where they have that one, pretty good but man do you get worn out playing it

Why was there a terminator game at a chuck e cheese.

Wait, forget that, why were YOU at a chuck e cheese? You better say you have kids user.

what weapon does 5 use I saw something like a tmp but wasnt sure

this went on auctions sadly, post more pics

also youtube.com/watch?v=KXZgc3iI2g0

tell me if still works pinsane2.com/pinorama/events/MJ_09/kr/michael_jackson_arcade_entry.html

Unless the gun is mounted, I can imagine why this doesn't see much play anymore.

do these still exist? asking for myself. Very Important. PLEASE RESPOND! isn't galloping ghost arcade one?

so the object of the game is to hit the button to drop a marble. The marble is meant to land inside one of three slot drops. if you manage, it triggers the bonus wheel where you get shit like instant 5 marble drops, more marbles in your stock to drop when you want, a card drop (which are worth 50 tickets but you're meant to collect a set of 9 to cash in for 3k) or a chance at the big dick bonus wheel. The BDBW has a chance for a 500 marble bonus

There's a "pay once at the door" barcade in Providence

It's something at least.
I found a brand new kof12 machine in a chuck e cheese's once.
It was pretty weird, like they ordered it by accident and the manager just decided to stick it in a corner.
That was over 10 years ago and I haven't seen another local fighting game machine since then.

Attached: ElectricAjimi.jpg (671x431, 48K)

Ah yeah that's the one from the stream, it's pretty
I hope my R1 gets this

I remember my bowling alley had this, Tekken 3 and the Simpsons beat em up. Good fucking times

holy shit

>tfw I was too much of a pussy to play these games as a kid
Fuck.

>hit the jackpot two times in a row
>win a GBA
>owner says the machine is "broken", opens up a panel, fiddles around a bit
>suddenly the machine now stops 2 full seconds after you press the button
GRIFTING SACK OF SHIT

my local time crisis 4 cab had that and it was fucking amazing. too bad they got rid of it in place of another giant connect 4 game.

I've never seen this in person but I feel like I would pour a lot of money into it

Niece's birthday party.
I went before in 2011 for her third birthday and they had there. It's not the 90's game, but but a new game. I think EA did it.

Yep, just install flash.

Chuck E Cheese is weird, they gave away free pizza during the presidential elections. Let me tell you sitting there waiting for free pizza was one of the most awkward experiences of my fucking life but I wasn't turning down free pizza when I'm hungry and nearby

I hate that this is the first thing I thought of

one two and three, but in if they have the active recoil guns on it. those Lethal Enforcers shit replacements they would get every so often were so shit

I could never beat the nuke stages.

I beat the superior version.

Sucks that the Ripley's Believe It or Not at Myrtle Beach (Where I played the machine) got rid of it, cause someone apparently got injured from it and I think legal actions were taken.

as much as the undeserved shit talking round one gets, it has a ton of fighting games. Mine has Tekken Tag 2, GG Accent Core +R, CvS2, KOF 98 '02 and 14, SNK Heroines BBCF, BBTAG, P4U, Nitro+ BlastersMarvel 2, USFIV and SFV. Shit's dope

Attached: 1557448174190.png (413x501, 255K)

Huh, looks a bit decrepit for a chuck e cheese.

Though I haven't actually seen one in years so maybe my memory is lying.

HYDROOOOO

did you get the GBA tho?

I'll always be surprised at how fair the Halo arcade game is considering it's a Raw Thrills machine
>each player gets targeted individually
>So you only have to focus on your lane and help other players because 3/4 sets of enemies won't be attacking you
>Far more generous HP bar than most Raw Thrills games on top of this
Usually these things devour credits like nobody's business.

Imagine being this guy. Arguing in favor of gatcha shit and loot boxes.
Imagine what this individual must be like.

I want to get into jamma stuff. Building an arcade cab or gutting a broken candy cab seems really fucking comfy.

I think the Round 1 shittalk comes because some places are flat out neglected in the states. You got one of the good ones, but not everyone is as lucky.

Surely it had some kind of safety mechanism?
I wonder how the thing worked, I can find basically no info on it

The round one near me has nothing but glorified smartphone games (flappy bird, jetpack joyride, etc.), a fuckton of claw machines, and like 3 weeb games like the taiko drum one
I live near a gameworks and I haven't tried going there yet, but I've been thinking about going later. Anyone know how gameworks is? The last time I went to one was basically a decade ago

what is this picture implying

Mine is. It's fucking awesome. Take a look

1uparcade.com.au/games/

That's MJ's arcade room.
Speaking of which, Chuck E. Cheese back in 90's had a much better setup of games. Now it's mostly shit you can play on a phone.

How does that place even survive any more? Their pizza is fucking horrible.

Little Caesar's still exists, so basically any combination of bread and sauce and cheese should be able to stay afloat

based hikadabro

mine has a small corner of thoe type of smartphone ticket games. The crane and claw game is bigger by comparison. There's the american RAW THRILLS corner, the rhythm game corner, the Maximum Tune / Initial D corner, the fighting game corner. I honestly feel blessed reading some of the stories of various round ones

I'm trying to remember a game a local skating rink used to have. It was a two player co-op about to rambo lookin' dudes crash landing in a jungle. I was top down and the sticks had a special feature where they could twist all the way around and that was how you maneuvered your guy around.

>That one kid that would throw a fit if he didn't get Wolverine

Where my Nightcrawler bros at?

>Philadelphia or Pennsylvania
bruh

Speaking of claw games, do yall have the various Dragon Ball, One Piece, Hero Academia, Card Capture Sakura or JJBA claw games? I spotted a Bruno Buccillati figure today

>YES I know you are in Hibachi's lair and the atmosphere has to be strong but it certainly is not on par with other Stage 5 themes composed by Namiki.
Nah, it's the coolest shit, it sounds oppressive and really feels like there's a ton of fucking pressure on you, and having the music slow down and the motif come back in as you're approaching the final boss is real fucking sick. The rest of the BGM is synced to the different parts of the stage as well, it's great.

Oh shit, I’ve been to Arcade Odyssey a few times. I made this video on it for a school project:
youtu.be/GWAewHgCfTA

That place is fucking rad. I wish I didn’t live so far from it, otherwise I’d go to the fighting game tournaments all the time. And yeah, that Fist of the North Star game is really fucking cool.

Cheap games and a cheap entry fee. The pizza is passable if you eat it fresh. Somehow I can't decide if Pizza Hut or Chuck E. Cheese has worse pizza.

Attached: screen3.png (1333x624, 1.47M)

That’s such an astute and very infuriating fact

H.Mita for Smash fucking WHEN

there are good arcades out there like the few gameworks that still exist, but round ones are infamous for being shitty normalfag hubs with nothing but mobile games

don't be mad because it's gone, be happy it was around when you were young.

Pizza Hut by a country mile. Fuck pizza hut

Oh SHIT I remember playing this for hours with my best friend at like 10pm at the waterworld arcade. Fuck I completely forgot how good that game was

Bros. If I ever get rich I'm gonna build a massive multilevel warehouse of arcade games, set them all to free play, and let people come in for 20 bucks a pop. Hire techs to keep uptime as high as possible as well as keep the exteriors as pristine as the day they were made. get some chefs to make bombass pizza by the slice, cold drinks and booze by the cup, and host tourneys and shit for fighting games. also gonna get that wacky carpet everywhere.
fuck. I'm so angry at the current fucking state of the arcade industry.

Children have no standards, they serve alcohol to the adults who can freely ignore their little shits, and it's a hotspot for WORLDSTAR fight footage.

>and only Warner Bros [which purchased most of Midway's assets] knows the legend," he says
So WB might have it? Fuck.

I know what you mean, the same shit happened to me. Those machines are designed to be impossible to win until enough collective money has gone into it. Basically, everyone’s contributing to a pool, and when it’s gotten $1,000 or so, it’ll give up the iPod.

Before this thread ends, I think you anons can help me. I remember this one arcade game back in the community center of my childhood that had a blue and pink controller that could bump into one another, as the characters in game ran through hallway like levels.

I fingered my sef today

Panic Park.

blast city or versus city

Ocean Hunter or Virtual On. If I have to pick just one, I'm gonna have to go with Ocean Hunter.

I ctrl-f'd to find you my man.

I don't even fucking know what people in my area do for fun anymore.
All the arcades, skate rinks, and activity places I used to frequent all closed down in the early 2000s, we literally only have restaurants, sports bars, and innumerable bubble tea joints now.
You would think an area filled with tons of asians and high income citizenry would have at least one fucking arcade or at least a barcade.

Attached: taro.jpg (1920x1080, 390K)

Huh, I missed that, thanks.

>me and him would go see movies and play at the arcade, getting excited to play each new Time Crisis game as it comes out
>he always picks the blonde character, I always pick the brown-haired character
Comfy memories

Bonus story:
>playing some sort of Crazy Taxi-like Big Rig game where you have to reach checkpoints in a set amount of time
>one of the unique features of the game is an actual physical hand radio on the cabinet, which you pick up and say “Nitro” into for a speed boost
>playing at Gatti’s Pizza with my best friend
>I suck at driving games, but he’s supportive and let’s me be Radio Captain and call for Nitro when he asks for it
>Get a few levels in, system working pretty well
>Coming down to the wire on the time limit, we’re in the final stretch toward the target
>As we get closer and closer, a Nitro pickup spawns by the goal
>”Oh, cool, Nitro”
>”NITRO?”
>“Wait, user, n-“
>”NITRO”
>Nitro activates, rig immediately goes Mach 7 and misses the goal
>friend jerks the wheel to the right, desperately trying to get into the target area
>Rig keeps zooming past and missing it
>Time ticks to zero
>Rig keeps shooting around just shy of the goal as GAME OVER enters the screen
The autism was powerful that day, but it created a memory I’ll never forget. Still giggle about that to this day.

I didn't know this was a thing.
How does it compare to the original?

No one goes out anymore

I wonder that too. There's nothing to do anywhere, and getting out and meeting people in a place of common interest like an arcade or hobby shop is gone. It seems like we as a species decided it's better for humanity to just let everyone roll the dice on everyone we meet at a bar or work on what they like.
I dislike commitment but it seems like joining groups, clubs, or forums online is the only place to find a mass amount of people with similar interests. Meeting folks casually is gone, as everyone who goes out alone to a bar or club usually wants to get laid, so the intention is known beforehand. I just want to make friends you know.

I was a day camp counselor at a church camp this summer, and on one of our field trips to a trampoline park me and some 2nd graders spent an hour beating this game. Ended up costing me over $40 but my little buddies needed me.

I bet there's 100 people who listened to the soundtrack online for every 1 person who actually had a chance to play it.

? They're still open. They just had a Unist tourney there today.

It's for if you don't want to use the stick.
It has both.

Every laundromat owns of one of these

that UFO catcher has seen better days

Why would you not want to use the stick? Is this a port of a console game or something?

Museca had its network support shut down so it makes sense for that one too have no network.
It's either that or turning it into Bishi Bashi which is a better game anyways

Me and my friends probably spent a good $30+ each beating it.

I would let him diddle me if I could play here. I don't see the problem if the rumours are true. Literally win win.

I think they still have one of these machines at the santa monica pier

I wonder if it's authentic.
