>remaster ages faster than the original

Ironic. How long until we end up getting remasters for remasters?

idk

>remaster ages faster than the original
But it doesn't, your own image shows how WWHD is visually superior, with higher fidelity textures and much more advanced lighting, you fucking dunce.

>How long until we end up getting remasters for remasters?
Already happened.
Age of Empires 2

>How long until we end up getting remasters for remasters?
Shadow of the Colossus.

probly the HD's desert nuke lighting

the last of us will come out again on PS5 in 4k or some shit

wasn't the new one more of a remake than a remaster

What about ps6?

probably

But the Wii U version looks the best here.

WWHD looks great in motion but it doesn't really translate to screenshots.

The textures are better but the lighting is so much fucking worse

Dolphin >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> WWHD

Yup, ok, sure. I'm actually playing through it right this very minute and I see absolute garbage like this all throughout.

Even if you somehow like the AO and bloom in WWHD, I don't understand how you can defend the ruined colors.

just disable the bloom you retarded faggots

no you don't.

she's better as a blonde

I guess the idea is that subtlety never sells with remasters. You have to absolutely beat the player over the head with how shiny and remastery it is.

not scientifically possible on wiiu

Even on Cemu it doesn't entirely work. Link still has a weird neck that makes him look like a fucking pinhead

op posted an image from an emulator so its assumed an emulator will be used for WWHD

Does it look like you're staring at the sun all the time in the HD version?

sure but it's not wiiu version because they added to much bloom and other useless effects

just wear hd vision sunglasses, problem solved.

no but it's always washed out

Can you explain this? I haven't played AoE2 since its original release, and since then it seems an expansion and two HD remakes came out. What's up with this?

Don't forget Ys 1.

I want to fuck Link’s sister

Objectively wrong. WWHD's lighting is much more advanced and far superior to anything the gamecube could muster. You may like the art style more in the original, which is a completely different subject.

That's quite an adorable and amusing statement.

This isn't to say the lighting is advanced. It's literally diffuse lighting with environment shadows and some bloom. Opposed to the superior cel-shading.

why'd they do that?

Every Street Fighter II after the first one?

Bloom is cruise control for high definition graphics.

That's an image from the beginning when you climb the watch tower. There is a shadow over the left Link in the remaster because the lighting is MUCH better and more accurate, thus rendering the roof's shadow. Link on the right isn't in a shadow because the lighting is so shit in the Original, it's literally not rendering a shadow that should be there, which is why the right seems 'vibrant' and the left seems 'washed out'. I get this whole thread is epig shitpost baiting, but cmon, be a little more discreet.

So in other words, it's the opening moments to the game and its a perfect comparison.

Fanboys like you will defend anything

Is this in a shadow as well? It looks worse to me.

Getting rid of cel-shading in a cel-shaded game doesn't make the lighting more accuracte, you retard.

It's not, that guy is just a faggot.

Once Nintendie drops the second remaster to scam stupid kids, they'll start praising that.

>no more miiverse
>no more sending out tingle bottles to anons
This hurts me.

HD version was just the original released on Steam with a few fixes. Definitive is a full out remake of the game from ground up.

Why did Nintendo try to bring back the excessive bloom aesthetic?
