Ok Yea Forums, recommend me a good game where I can really soak in a cyberpunk aesthetic. I just finished Ion Fury. I tried replaying Deus Ex but the gameplay is very unsatisfying since its so broken and i dont like the aesthetic
So let me get this straight. You want a cyberpunk game, and your go to was zoomer shit like Ion Fury that barely fits the bill. Then you try the quintessential cyberpunk game with DE but you're such a zoomer faggot you couldn't even handle it. You know what i think? I think you're a giant piece of shit and don't deserve to try more games.

i fucking finished deus ex years ago, retard. thats why i said "REPLAYING" in the op, but i think you know that.
the gameplay is fucking boring. i know that it has a good amount of non-linearity and the narrative is fun but god damn is it fucking dull to play. you can stealth takedown every enemy with the baton and it doesnt even matter if you go lethal or not or if anyone spots you or not
i like blade runner ripoffs i might check these out
i asked about this game a few days ago. im not a fan of the orcs & magic D&D shit, i just want a cyberpunk RPG with really cool worldbuilding and neon signs
I prefer Dragonfall to Hong Kong. The orc and magic shit is actualy kinda cool in my opinion, more like mutants then mystical. Bio-weps are mentioned all over the place, and countries genociding non humans. Reminds me of the x-men universe a bit.
Neon signs and cyborgs everywhere. Hacking, prostitutes, drug use, and government overthrows. Good stuff.

how does it fare as an RPG?

I enjoyed it very much. RPG elements are all there, it just depends on how true to your character you are. Stats make events come out differently, and battles change based on your skills. You can play it as a normal human who hacks, or a cybernetic troll using swords. Dwarf wizard with gang afiliations? no problem. I never felt hampered in my playthroughs by not choosing the "best min/max" skills, it flows very cleanly. Overall a good story.
As a huge fan of x-com, front mission games, FF tactics, Battletech, and turned based tactic games it really scratched an itch I've had lately. Be warned normal is normal, you do really want to change up to hard for a more enjoyable experience (you can change it back anytime).
i see, ill check shadowrun out. i usually think of the combat in all RPGs to be the absolute worst part tho. mostly just into dialogue and choices; think im gonna stick with the easier difficulties

It is about 2/3 talking to people and 1/3 combat. You should be right at home.

RUINER is an absolute cyberpunk kino

This. Snatcher is honestly one of the coolest games ever made, it just drips with that slick blade runner type of style. love it.
