that one

I finally achieved the kingship through complete circumstance: king married a 53 year old and died of an accident I had no hand in while his only brother died of cancer at 23, so my son, whom I had with the former king's eldest sister, inherited the throne, and, as his strongest vassal with 4 duchies, made sure the kingdom was protected from faction.
While I then died on crusade, my son died from the plague, leaving his heir as my second son--a child of destiny. So that's great and I'll finally be able to take the land the AI lost--but I means I cant create a flavorful bloodline, so I'll just have my Alexandre go out without a legal heir, sticking with bastards so that my matrilineal daughter can take the throne, create a bloodline, and then later join dynasties

have sort of played the genre too much
occasionally get inclinations to play the CK2 ASOIAF mod or an EUIV random new world colonization game but pretty burnt out otherwise

This is probably the character with the highest stats that i've ever controlled

Never played a non native american nation. When is paradox going to fix them?

Played perm eu4
got annexed by muscovy before Poland and gh supported my independence

the end

Nothing, just waiting for the next batch of content.
PDXcon is soon I think so hopefully there is something coming.

there's nothing to fix

I was thinking about start another game of EU4 but can't decide what country to play yet, any recommendation would be welcome.

Yes it is. It's laughable that native americans are able to develop firearms and have horses without old-world continuous contact.

It's laugable that chiefdoms are set to a fixed province when several provinces had similar entities. It's laughable that old world presence doesn't decrease permanently the development of provinces emulating disease spread and the death of more than 90 of the native population in the first century. It's laughable that native colonization done by natives deletes the local cultures when the deletion is an attempt at emulating the disease killing them. It's laughable that colonizing provinces known to be populated by chiefdoms/tribal settlers is the same as colonizing lands populated by hunter gatherers (even their development is laughable). It's laughable that the natives can technically reach old world's technology (3) in some years if done correctly. There are so many things that ruin the immersion and make the game another age of empires tier game for native american nation players.

Here's a bump.

Been playing HOI4 as USSR. My buddy playing Germany finally chose to invade. He's got tanks and air superiority but I've got hundreds of divisions and will eventually have a big defensive boost with order 227.

What's your strategy Yea Forums? Should I just instant train divisions and hold the line or fall back and use scorched earth till I defend the cities?

don't spam too many divisions or you will collapse from lack of supplies

What's the best CK2 dlc? I've been having fun with vanilla but it looks like the game will feel a lot more "alive" with the expansions. However I don't want to buy them all

That's what I'm worried about but I'm more than willing to make all my military production focused on just guns and support equipment

Do not buy anything from paradox but the base game, pirate everything else, it's easy so there is no excuse.

I want to play stellaris but its boring as fuck so im just sticking with baby Civilization. I finished a game of V the other day so I was curious about VI and its shit

Wait so you can pirate the dlc and it'll be unlocked on the steam version?

This is the best character I ever had. Ignore the nigress aspect, she was a righteous Christian and removed literally every kebab.

Yes with creamAPI

so EUIV folks, whats your opinion on M&T?

Lame, Wolf Warriors or Benedictines can get way crazier than that.

I've never had a Wolf Warrior that didn't get themselves killed because of something retarded before the age of 50.

its the best way to play eu4

It will save EUIV and grand strategy games when 3.0 comes out

That's weird because it's the opposite for me, if anything it is too OP because your character becomes almost immortal.
The only times some of them died for me was in the legend events

i meant more about choking the infrastructure and supply lines, and if you just spam guns and support equipment you will get rolled over by german tanks, at least invest in anti tank

it ruined vanilla eu4 for me, i can't play any other game or mod because m&t fixes everything eu4 does wrong
too bad it fucking demolishes my computer so i cant play comfy multiplayer games

I'm new to EUIV and tried playing as Choctaw just because it seemed easier to manage a small place than something like, say, the Holy Roman Empire. I have no idea what the fuck is going on, even after the tutorial. I get the basic gist of trade and war and whatnot but what are all those other tribes surrounding me? Why don't they exist and why can't I conquer them and take them? I know they are there for a reason besides just migrating my tribe there.

The ability to play them is just for rp, doubt there is a way to properly balance them with the engine.

Does Stellaris count?

Equestria at War

no

yes

Got the coolest title I've ever fucking heard in my newest playthrough of an African tribal. With this title in mind, how should I roleplay her?

Attached: Great Lion.png (301x173, 94K)

maybe

Do you count Special Olympians with regular Olympians?

Do a hindustan run

Attached: 1562766219367.jpg (554x640, 13K)

Stellaris is more like 4X mix with GS.

stellaris. absolutely addicted

That's what I figured, just thought I'd ask. I used to play a ton of EU4, but not much really anymore

That's a juicy map

6 is fun. I played the fuck out of 5 and it took me a while to get used to 6, but now I like both about the same.

Retarded bloat and crashes the mod. Every month on max speed takes a minute in a game that goes on for approximately 3600 months.

>being so deluded that you analogize yourself to Olympians

>Pirate EUIV with all the DLC
>Launcher just opens and then closes a few seconds later
Oh well

Dark World Fantasy

I was thinking about Persia.

Imo they shouldn't be "properly balanced". The people of the americas experienced the fucking apocalypse, it should be ridiculously punishing to play them. Success should rest on a knife's edge at all times and mass death and destruction should be a fact of life.

Shit, forget the europeans. American civilizations were already collapsing before they even arrived. The once-great Mayan cities were already abandoned, overgrown jungles when missionaries first showed up.

Wish these games werent so piss easy and that the difficulty settings did anything other than give you penalties and the ai bonuses.

Started off with that viking special event of england thing. Been trying to take over all of UK, but I'm playing on super hard difficulty so when I declare war on a neighboring king, he calls in like 5 other kings since I'm a warmongering pagan on top of having all the holy troops. Have to have a shitton of gold on hand to buy mercenaries and have a 10 to 1 advantage in troops.

If I wanted to convert CKII to EUIV, how do I prevent blobbing and ensure diversity as I switch over?

Imperator will literally be in THEY FIXED EVERYTHING status after the next big patch.

EU4 with Third Odyssey, it’s pretty fun

What do you have to do to get good at duels in the game? I don't think I have ever one a single duel.

The game seems so bare bones and shallow though. It will be a few dlcs before it is salvaged in my opinion.
