For me, it's the Drang Hammers

Attached: Drang_Hammers.png (512x512, 82K)

shit weapon

based

it was good for PvP. You could do an inescapable combo that does around 900 damage. Early on in DS3 before everybody figured out that getting a lot of HP was the best for literally every possible build I got a lot of instant kills out of a simple L1, which also has surprisingly long range.

For me, it's my wife. The Beasthunter Saif.

Attached: saifu4laifu.webm (1280x720, 1.95M)

The Saif, Church Pick and Whrilygig Saw are all tied for my favorite BB weapon. All three of them were fun as fuck.

THEY CALL ME CUBAN PETE
The drang hammers were based

>Spamming transform attacks like a retard when you can just R1 spam in trick mode

For me, it's the Irithyll Straight Sword

Attached: 1567968699215.png (512x512, 46K)

I wish they had just kept power stancing so I could dual wield Sulyvahn's swords.

Baby rattle weapons

for me it's the Mace

Attached: file.png (512x512, 42K)

I love the mace aesthetically but the animations for it just haven't felt right since Demon's Souls.

I only ever use the Claymore

overpowered in all 3 games

Sellsword twinblades, lucerne, tryhard twinswords, a bunch of curved swords, spiked mace, great wooden hammer, and splitleaf greatsword all say hi because they can do the exact same thing

>Brainlet+ Saw, because the Cleaver and Spear weren't stupidly good enough already
>Shit hunter axe/burial blade
>Hold L2
All extremely cool and based weapon choices, my fellow retard

Based and Macepilled

Attached: D&D_Shadow_Cleric.png (680x1000, 649K)

but only the drang/wood hammers and spiked mace do based strike damage

Who gives a fuck about strike damage when any buffed spin weapon deletes their HP at about 1500 damage regardless?

you get to break their shield guard and hit even harder

That's boring and has shit range and stun. You're boring.

Ah yes, because strike weapons have always been notorious for their superior guard breaking ability

Damage type is literally a non-issue in DaS3 PvP, halberds and curved swords are probably the best for the combo because of how insanely good their standing R1s are

Kirkhammer is the chad’s choice.

>The initial tricked R1 and its huge fucking dash has shit range
okay

There are no problems with the stun whatsoever, haven't you heard of people clearing the entire game with just the saw cleaver, spear, or saif because they're the straight swords of BB?

Hello.

Attached: Splitleaf_Greatsword.png (512x512, 59K)

Really? My autism forces me to pick those damn things up but I never use them or the armor.

Blackblade best blade

I wish the chaosblade had the same R2

Go UGS or go home, soibois.
CHADthedral Knight Greatsword is the patrician choice.

Attached: Cathedral_Knight_Greatsword.png (512x512, 73K)

Definitely the best looking one. TFW I'm best with BKGS but it looks ugly in DS3.

is it the follow-through on the swing? or something else about the animation?

Everyone step back
here comes a REAL weapon

Attached: uchigatana[1].png (190x276, 29K)

Do none of you fags use the Hollowslayer GS? You get bonus damage in PvP and some bosses

For me, it's the Executioner's Greatsword!

Attached: bara_husbando.png (189x287, 16K)

;)

Attached: warpick.png (171x243, 11K)

Gimmick weapon.

Attached: for me its the spiked mace.webm (960x540, 2.8M)

It's animations are ugly af

>dual hammers
>no hyper armor to your attacks
Yo what the fuck.

For me, it's the shotel. In every game.

Keh heh heh...

Attached: shotel.png (189x287, 15K)

The reasoning is pretty superficial, I just didn't particularly like the animations for it any of the Dark Souls games. In 1 it felt super sluggish with zero range and fumbling if you miss. In 2 the upwards strike when you press R1 looks pretty stupid and in 3 it looks like you're just wildy swinging it and taking your character's entire body along from the weight. Only Demon's Souls made it look both smooth and controlled with a nice level of weight to the impact as well.

DeS: Meat Cleaver
DS1: Golem Axe
DS3: Frayed Blade
BB: Beasthunter Saif

Attached: Valorheart.png (512x512, 152K)

That's why you mod DS1 maces to have silver knight sword moveset.

>DS1:Divine Halberd
>DS2:Magic Mace
>DS3:Wolf Knight GS
>BB:Kirkhammer

3/10
4/10

DeS: Scraping Spear and Purple Flame Shield
DaS: Black Knight Halberd
DaS3: Chaos Corvian Scythe and Witch's Locks
BB: Pizza Cutter

Attached: Bloodborne A Song of Crows.jpg (1557x2362, 922K)

My favorite DaS weapon? Why the Greatsword of judgement of course!

Attached: greatsword of judgement.webm (960x540, 2.94M)

>fake pope sword created with filthy magic instead of faith is the best darkmoon themed weapon in series

Understandable, the only souls game I used a mace in was DS2. Like you said about 1 and 3 it felt weird so I didn't use em

Lads, why does bloodborne still have the best weapons?

twin win spears

Attached: file.png (512x512, 81K)

I can't imagine not using the Black Blade.
Aesthetic as fucking hell and thick as shit. I can't imagine not being able to parry without a faggy shield.

Attached: black_blade.png (188x282, 15K)

The only weapon I did a video on, was fun too.

Attached: Thumbs up.gif (266x200, 2.14M)

but i thought straight swords were the only way to play

Attached: file.png (512x512, 40K)

Hardcounters any fast weapon, skill matchup against UGS and the likes and only struggles against long range weapons such as lances. How is it a gimmick weapon?

I always end up using ultra greatsword or the tooth

Attached: dragon_tooth.png (188x282, 18K)

>Early on in DS3 before everybody figured out that getting a lot of HP was the best for literally every possible build
the non retarded/non ds3 babs had 4 games to figure this out. way to out yourself

for me, it's the spin2win move

Attached: 1.jpg (408x409, 22K)

"Why yes, I do use Claymore exclusively in all three DS games. What gave it away?"

Attached: 9da8d98075347e4f5cba2103f48d4c1f.jpg (1044x1280, 87K)

Ds1: reinforced club
Ds2: grand lance
DS3: greatclub
BB: wheel
Im a simple man with the simple need to go ungabunga with a wooden weapon.

Muh extra damage against hollows/npcs. Which makes it specific to certain enemies and certain areas and not a great all-round weapon. You're gimping yourself when you might as well settle for a better all-round GS like Astora.

>BB: wheel
It's a fucking great and weird and distinct weapon but how do you even manage with that awful range? Having to be literally on top of things you want to hit makes me drop it every time.

I'm talking about pvp, and astora is not a GS. Even in pve it has a better damage output that most greatswords without taking the bonus damage into account, which is the least important thing about the weapon.

"Swords? Why would I bother with such toothpicks? It's the Great Club for me."

Attached: 257.jpg (1473x1061, 280K)

>"weapons"? like for children?

Attached: Caestus_(DSIII).png (512x512, 54K)

>game series with hundreds of different weapons with different ranges and attack mechanics
>pick a regular sword

Dash attacks can cover a lot of ground and tricked r2s has larger hitbox than one might think. If you're talking untricked, I don't know how to use it either; I exclusively used tricked mode with 3 or 4 revs.

For me, there is nothing.
I have never found a weaponfu.

Attached: 1501488318123.jpg (869x943, 231K)

But user. Surely there was one who was more fun than the others, one you used the most. One that stood out above the rest?

Yes...
It's called
Great Heavy Soul Arrow

Attached: 1511457658473.png (364x385, 122K)

KRIKBROS WW@

Attached: menu_knowledge_01009.png (400x400, 209K)

Straight swords are good for 1v1 but duels aren't everything.

Goddamn I love the Baseball Sword

>Great Club
best weapon in DS2 by far

Best fucking weapon

Attached: 1537041072443.jpg (480x720, 72K)

forever and only

Attached: black_knight_greataxe.png (210x270, 31K)

lads i just maxxed out spears of the church in a single sitting with these bad boys, only lost to a few smart ganks. the lack of poise can be annoying but honestly those faster/lighter weapons are just parry bait, or can be circumvented with a backstep L1. going heavy infusion+blessed weapon, and pontif right eye ring

For me, it's the bone hand weapon. forget the name

cringe

For me, it's the Profaned Greatsword. Gigantic? Golden? On fire? Everything I need in a weapon.

Attached: profaned_greatsword_inventory.png (187x283, 16K)

God I wish this was on pc

for me, it's the shortsword

Attached: latest.png (512x512, 32K)

For me its the great machete

Attached: Great_Machete_%28DSIII%29.jpg (350x350, 11K)

If your preferred weapon isn't a pile bunker, I just don't even think I can call you a man.

Attached: stake_driver.jpg (250x251, 10K)

A man who enjoys the company of other, larger men.

For me, it's also the Executioner's Greatsword

For me, its claymore.

>that sprint into slash attack
>that 1h light swing combo
>that 1h heavy thrusting stab
>2h is stronger versions of 1h attacks
>can be used effeciently with shield
Claymore is BASED.

Attached: Claymore_(DSIII).png (512x512, 45K)

for me, it's the brigand axe

Attached: Axes are the shit.webm (1024x574, 2.92M)

For me, it's drowing the world in glorious fireballs.

Attached: Pyromancy_Flame_(DSIII).png (512x512, 135K)

Where my pyro claymore chads at?

It might not be the flashiest, strongest nor cooler weapon, but Partizan is my favorite weapon.
>fast stab that uses low stamina
>can spin to win
>two hand R1, L2, R2, R2/R1 is a nice combo
I pair it with Avelyn for maximum comfy.

Attached: partizan.png (188x275, 15K)

Got a run going with Pyromancy and this bad boy, does that count?

Attached: Demon's_Greataxe_(DSIII).png (512x512, 119K)

for me, it's the PLEASE KNOCK BEFORE ENTERING
the sheer amount of people who consistently fall for the 180 degree turn into l1 r1 is staggering
also I switch to a fork if you start trying to run away from me

Attached: giant_door_greatshield[1].png (234x276, 121K)

The dash is good. The combo is not. Not in a group fight, at least.

based
sniping people with unlocked pyros is literally the highest skill cap, most tryhard thing you can do in the game

DarkChads where are you

based retard

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.

Attached: mcchicken.png (659x367, 477K)

for me it's the fume ultra greatsword
I like to invade naked with both this and the great club equipped

I THINK ULTRA GREATSWORDS ARE GAY

>tfw use both
cease these petty squabbles and unite in your superior range

you're right. in my first playthrough of ds1 i used both a halberd and zwei. those two were a good combination

For me, it's the Onyx Blade.
