What indies are you looking forward to user? Anything you're playing right now that was surprisingly good?

I'm playing Divinity OS2 after dropping it twice already in February before escaping the prison. Now at the end of the boat and have a pretty good time with it. Any recommended mods for subsequent playthroughs?
I'm just looking forward to Deltarune and Silksong I think. I'm not playing any indie at the moment though
this shit
Finishing up Bleed 2 right now, planning on playing Titan Souls, MN9, Outlast 1+2 next, going to pick up Blasphemous, Katana Zero, and Cross Code later this year. Also got a ton more in my backlog.
That seemed like a really heartwarming game when it was shown at E3
I forgot I backed Indivisible and I'm not even that excited for it anymore. I'll still play it though.
Not really looking forward to any indies but I have Creature in the Well and Bloodroots on my wishlist for this year. My three favorite 2019 indies so far have been Devil Engine, Blazing Chrome, and Baba is You.
I'm currently doing my first Undertale playthrough and I'm stuck on Asgore with no healing items. I've been playing as a pacifist up until this point but I found out you can spare Toriel at the beginning which I did not do. So goodbye true pacifist ending. I have never been this fucking mad at a video game, I'm completely out of determination and I want to strangle Toby Fox.
Thank you for wasting your time reading my worthless rant.
>and Baba is You.
I really have to get back to playing that one sometime. Makes me feel like a goddamn idiot but it's so good
I haven't finished it myself (and probably never will without a guide) but I've played enough of it to tell how good it is.
Hollow Knight: Silksong
Freedom Planet 2
Radio The Universe is if it even comes out
>Tfw Supergiant games were my golden boys who could do no wrong for 3 games running
>Then Dream Daddy steals Pyre's thunder and there next game is an early access roguelike epic store exclusive with unimaginative combat that's basically Bastion 2
Way to 180 almost everything I liked about you in a single announcement, you faggots.
what were you in prison for
>epic store exclusive
On the plus side of this it was only for the first year of Early Access, so it'll be out on all other platforms on release (and gets an EA release on Steam in December)
It probably sold so badly on EGS that they started advertising the steam release 4 months in advance.
I've been waiting for Wattam forever at this point, will this fucking thing ever come out? Annapurna interactive also went ahead and made it a EGS exclusive so into the pirate list it goes, fuckers.
Why did you kill your mom? Real pacifistic of you.
Y'all are normie as fuck. Time to post games you haven't heard of
>What indies are you looking forward to user?
The fixed (+ DLC) version of Death's Gambit
>Anything you're playing right now that was surprisingly good?
Outer Wilds, shame it didn't come out on steam, PS4 or Switch, would've been a hit for sure
>Tutorial
>Don't know the mechanics of the game or how things work
>Try sparing her a bazillion times, escaping from combat, exploring the house for triggers
>Talking just gets you "This doesn't seem like the solution"
>Turns out I had to try and spare her a bazillion times + 1
Yeah, fuck you Toby Fox you asshole. Maybe signpost your shit better next time.
>went ahead and made it a EGS exclusive so into the pirate list it goes, fuckers.
I know this fucking feel. Both Manifold Garden and Superliminal were puzzle games I was heavily looking forward to buying which are now EGS timed-exclusives. I can't blame the devs themselves because they're self-published and have been in development for years (when indies stood a much better chance of selling well), but I still hate the EGS for what it's done to the PC space
Doesn't the flower come up and immediately berate you if you kill Toriel?
>Time to post games you haven't heard of
And we'll never actually hear of because you didn't give names
Install 4chanx and mouse over "title" next to the filename, or open up a media player and inspect the file properties.
None of these were u filthy trendie
Goose game
Kickstarting Yooka Laylee is my greatest regret. Never have I seen a game that misses the point of its creation, and they have the nerve to call it an homage/spiritual successor. People wanted a lighthearted collectathon platformer with fun characters and a wacky story. Instead we got a petty pile of shit that oozes how bitter they are at capitalism. There’s no soul, just angry men creating a cartoon game about “capitalism bad!” It spits on the grave of Banjo and Kazooie, it spits on what Rare used to be. And now there’s a sequel that departs even further. Fuck Playtonic, fuck Yooka Laylee.
Hollow knigh: Silksong, don't judge me.
Kaze and the Wild Masks, looks cute and seems to play pretty nicely from what the trailer shows.
I don't remember anymore but I just assumed it was there to show that killing things has consequences.
>Fight her
>Do pathetic damage
>Suddenly fuck hueg damage and kill her
>Player feels bad, this killing thing is horrible
>Flower comes up and says you're an asshole
>Player now knows the consequences for killing and avoids it
So instead of that logic, you'd have to reload a save after killing her and stumble in the dark trying to figure out a way to spare her which isn't telegraphed effectively (other than a frog giving you one cryptic glue?) until you succeed? Fuck that horseshit man. Like, it's the fucking tutorial area which is supposed to teach you shit without consequences BEFORE you start the real game.
Blasphemous comes out in 2 days and nobody is talking about it.
isn't impossible tower supposed to be a side game?
there's been threads for it every day since the demo came out.
>Burrito galaxy
It's gonna be a fucking EGS exclusive isn't it? I'm praying right now the guy was just fucking with us here
For me it was MN9.
Epic Games made me dislike indies. Like 80% of the free ones they gave us have been shit.
i wouldn't put too much weight in their tweet's twitter.com
looking forward to ori and the blind forest since it is coming to switch
I dont think it's intended to get pacifist run your first time if you're going in blind
Silksong and Freedom Planet 2.
that's right i forgot the sequel's coming next year.
was FP2 supposed to come out two years ago?
muh miyazaki chink game
>just install spyware to know what games these are goy
fuck off
Why was there never any line of Hotline Miami clones?
I mean Hotline Miami is still the best indie game ever made and yet nobody has tried making something like it.
Heat signature is the closest thing but it's different.
Yeah I guess so since sparing Toriel is such cryptic bullshit but now I'm mad and I'm not going to replay the whole game just to save ONE fucking NPC. It just pisses me off I'm missing the "true" pacifist ending by fucking up in the tutorial.
Eh, maybe I'll replay it for the genocide route just to blow off steam. Probably do the true ending once I've forgotten all about this game.
Hotline Miami 2 is all we will never need. true masterclass of game design
The rest of us figured it out
>Eh, maybe I'll replay it for the genocide route just to blow off steam. Probably do the true ending once I've forgotten all about this game.
>He doesn't know
But I need moar
No game has scratched the same itch as HM has
>What indies are you looking forward to user?
brave dungeon: the meaning of justice
bug fables
death march club
dungeon munchies
giraffe & annika
royal anapoko academy
super zangyura
susume!! mamotte knight
vitamin connection
wattam
yooka-laylee and the impossible lair
Same, this looks really good.
It is furry-bait as hell though
>true masterclass of game design
The level design of HM2 was mediocre
*blocks your path* but not the bullets
Maybe if you are melee spamming moron who doesn't know what peek is
Little Devil Inside, I backed this on Kickstarter 4 years ago, still feels like it's at least 2 more years off.
HM2 levels are designed with a lot of long hallways (or open areas) that go well beyond your vision range which can get you unfairly killed by enemies you couldn't see coming
Katana Zero and My Neighbor Pedro are in the same vein, but are sidescrollers.
Yup that's every KS game =)
I judge that you have excellent taste
I'm only excited for Silksong
Haven might be good but the turn based combat looks so uninteresting compared to Furi it feels like such a waste of talent
How dare you. Motherfucker.
If you didn't immediately think "what if I missed the chance to save her and there's actually a way if I reload the save" then Undertale isn't for you. The entire game is pretty much built on that kind of meta thinking.
Super Hot is basically first person Hotline Miami with bullet time
I wish they took Furi and refined it into a bigger and better game. Maybe an adventure game with Furi's combat.
Flowey literally, specifically says "too bad you can't go back and change it". He couldn't have been any more obvious without straight-up saying "go reload your save retard". Not insulting you, just saying. It would be insulting for the game to make it any more clear and it would miss the point.
Lookin forward to Knuckle Sandwich! maybe mother 4 but its not mother 4 anymore sooo ://
maybe don't just blindly walk into a long line of sight you fucking moron? There are only a few examples of levels large and open enough for this like Casualties, but you are supposed to go through the siderooms and not just barge through the wide open center like a dumbfuck.
>Bruh you just had to press spare 10+ times with no dialogue change or any signposting that your shit is doing anything
It's a great game but this is just fucking horseshit
Silksong mainly, but I'm also looking forward to that 4th character update for Slay the Spire.
If their new game does badly maybe they'll go back to make a Furi sequel or something else with similar action combat
Except that she stops attacking you each time. Moron
Still stuck on the factory and second boiling lake. Fuck I'm stupid.
You're not wrong, I backed 4 games in 2015, and those are the only games I've ever backed period, the only one that has released is Yooka Laylee
Silksong and Ori and the Will of Wisps. That shit looks awesome.
Gotta finish Celeste some day too.
literally baiken
None, they suck.
Are people still falling for this meme ?
youtube.com
Bullshit
Have that (you) user, spend it well
Some mod chars are pretty fucking solid.
what game?
Ya she fucking does in this video too. At 3:30
>What indies are you looking forward to user?
the one i'm making, because no one is piquing my interest.
...
She stops attacking you once you're on your last health like normal, not because you're spamming spare. She doesn't kill you no matter what you do.
And her expression changes to make it clear she doesn't want to fight.
dropping Divinity
Hades is great. Their best game in fact I say this as somebody with 120+ runs in it.Then again I say that as someone who's loved greek mythology since I could read.
But it looks great and its a perfection of gameplay elements from their previous games and in spite of the rogue-like nature it still has as charming and emotional a story as Transistor or Bastion.
Still not worth EGS though
Mostly playing Dead Cells right now, just beat hotk for the first time. I'm checking steam every day for the Deep Rock Galactic and Risky 2 updates, I'm so fucking hyped for both
FP2 was delayed because Strife fell behind or something, It's been a while since I looked it up. The game is apparently releasing "when it's done", which I gather as meaning anytime between now and late 2020.
they don't seem like the kind of devs that want to make sequels. game baker's shtick is combining genres. you can even cook genres on their website.
thegamebakers.com
It has passion poured into it. I'm looking forward to it.
Looking at the blog posts and the lead dev's tweets, it is very important to him to not just cash-in by repeating the success of Furi but rather continue innovating and doing something new.
Is Midoria any good?
What's the appeal of those ?
They're all ugly, and when it comes to gameplay, they just try to emulate what AAA or retro games already made.
Indies are made from amateurs, for zoomers, who don't have any video-game culture.
>Creature is the well
Nice to see someone else is interested in it.
After the 10th fucking try, past the point when no-one but autists are even trying anymore.
In my 1st playthrpugh, my experience was semi similar.
After i was getting no where, i hit attack, thinking, maybe i need to do something else to trigger the option.
shes at full HP so i have plenty of time to test this out.
The VERY FIRST attack kills her.
I was pissed.
I didnt get as far as flowey complaining, i already turned it off.
Came back later, redid it, and seeing there's no tactic to trying to do a peaceful option (like everyone made me believe) its just "survive X number of turns, and u win peacefully.
Win the fight, and flowey goes on about how i save scummed.
(fuck you toby, you made me insta kill her, just to see what the attack option does.)
I thought Pyre was fucking awful. It's the equivalent of combining Rocket League with Doki Doki Literature Club, it just doesn't work.
I was a tard and bought the console version, but when I did my "post purchase research" I saw a Dante mod. That looked pretty dope.
>Hotline Miami is the Pizza of video games !
Western indie game community is fucking cancer, I don't support that shit
>look up how Spire is progressing
>last update on progress was two and a half years ago
rip that studio i guess
Yeah, I triggered combat only because I thought I had hit a brick wall and there was no way of going past it without combat. I just assumed the game wanted me to learn the combat before the real game starts but alas, I got fucked in the feels.
You said there was no change. Clearly she changes the more you do it. Only an autist would struggle to notice someone's facial expression
Barf
why?
>The VERY FIRST attack kills her.
There's only two situations in which this should have happened. Were you spamming Spare before you attacked?
Outer worlds
I love it so much.
Clearly you have autism if you keep using the same option with no telegraphs for 10 fucking times. 10 FUCKING TIMES.
*outer wilds
This is a game where you get rapped is it one p or two? if you lose right? I hate those games.
Reading about the latest game controversy gave me cancer. No thanks, I don't want nothing to do with supporting that shit. Plus I'm a small town right wing Christian, they wouldn't want my blood money.
Damn, I hate when enemies start throwing sick rhymes when I lose too.
Name of these pls
This was the last game I threw kicstarter money at. Can't wait.
Like I said it might be good I hope it succeeds at what it's trying to do but the combat just isn't hooking me
The Ice Subnautica and Silksong
There's something new happening every single turn, no text or speech bubble or different attack. She doesn't kill you so you can at least continue to hit spare until the dialogue starts repeating but it never does
For me? It's Darkest Dungeon.
Because you have shitty taste, m8.

Silksong

King Knight Update
N1RV Ann-A

You're right
Silksong is going to come out in its place
I like weird games. Killer7 is one of my favorite games ever made. Pyre's execution is just atrocious, and the story itself is a fucking snorefest to boot.
This fucking shit.
Played the alpha on gamejolt and it was insanely fun.
Steam version comes out in a couple of weeks and will have co-op, can't wait.
media player doesnt play webm, but even still, its properties are empty in all fields.
None. Just like all games. Just like all games west of Turkey and south of Vietnam. Even a large chunk of games from Japan. I have no faith.
I'll admit it was weak mechanically compared to all the other bosses except the Scale especially after facing the Edge. Including the sudden, jarring change-up in how charged shots work.
The melee parts of the game are better then the bullet parts. It feels a lot tighter, refined. As part of the entire ending it is still hype as fuck especially with the music in the last phase
Hey, there is another indie thread, and there might be some good games.
Lots of little things lately.
My friend last night out of the blue sent me a link to a game called Noita.
It looks like it's a rougelike platformer but it's main gimmick is that it's based around particle physics like those powder game flash games everyone played back in the day, myself included.
It's also published by the Baba Is You team which I also enjoyed.
I already bagged most of the retro FPS games that have came out recently so I would say those, but I really had to pick I'd say some VR games coming out soon, but no one really cares about that stuff.
Ahh man it looked so good from the intro and the intial stacking up, but the AI is just so dumb in this video. They patiently stand in place waiting to get shot. I want to see them freaking out and moving about the place trying to sneak up on you and whatnot.
>ctrl+f
>Noita
>no results
Philistines, the lot of you.
>A cute, comfy game about dying
Has the potential to be unironic kino. I have played Sundered by the same devs and it honestly wasn't that great but this looks like a whole different kind of game so I'm hoping it'll be good.
>by the Baba Is You team
Baba is You was made by one guy
Ahem.
I meant to say publisher.
Thus is what Gravity Rush 2 should have been.
This is true for Hotline Miami as well but I've always wished that there was more importance placed on whether or not enemies have noticed you. That making too much noise causes the entire place to go on a alert and enemies start moving around more. More important in choosing to be quiet and use silencers or rampage through the place and turn it into a warzone.
That's the good shit.
>DUDE PHYSICS LMAO
just finished hotline miami 1. really great game, but the story confused me. love the mask concept.
1 is sort of like only half of a story which 2 tells.
2 is both a sequel and a prequel and an entirely different story but it explains a lot. Almost every character is influenced by or influenced Jacket in some way.
Don't forget, this was done by one of the Barkley: Shut up and jam guys and is *supposed* to have a sequel.
Hypnospace Outlaw is a fantastic game and I'm sad it hasn't been mentioned yet. Outer Wilds is another good one that came out this year but I see some other people already mentioned it. I'm also really excited for Ace Team's next game The Eternal Cylinder.
>that soundtrack
Now that I've looked through it again, I can see there are small signpost with her dialogue going from "..." to ".... ...." and "...?" after some tries. But they're still too small for a new player playing the tutorial to notice most of the time since the player is being overwhelmed by all this other information like the interface, act options, combat etc. Even then, you can just assume she is cycling through her generic dialogue since the change is basically dead air and insignificant. It should have been those small signpost + her eyes looking away at 5 tries, not fucking 10 since the player will just assume his time is being wasted and that he is just hitting his head repeatedly in to a wall. The way it is now in the game makes it seem like a hidden option reserved for future playthroughs when the players knows all the mechanics and what to look for.
This is valid though but I still assumed the Toriel encounter was there to force the player into combat. Tutorials usually force the player to try and use all of their arsenal before the real game can begin, which I assumed was the case. Again, the player doesn't know how "meta" your game is going to be in the first area of the game. That first part with Flowie can serve as a character and world building moment just as well as a meta way of telling not to trust the game itself, so the player can only know the extent and purpose of it once he has progressed a fair amount into the game ie. they can contextualize the information with other encounters.
If you got it and spared Toriel on your first playthrough, then good for you, you were clearly more observant than I was. Still, the game expect way more from you that can reasonably be expected from the player at the tutorial area.
My favorite is spelunky. Favorite newish is blazing chrome. Playing slay the spire but I suck. Also tried creature in the well off gamepass but its seems too difficult or at least not interesting enough for me to git gud
I was gonna buy Creature in The Well earlier today but got Rayman Legends on sale instead.
Anyone having fun with it?
It reminds me of Fire Striker on SNES among other more obvious influences.
I got that on launch day and had fun with it.
When the fuck are they releasing the rest of the game?
Should I buy the game butcher? It's on sale for 3.99 on xbox.
had way too much story and way too little gameplay.
Try 2020.

Fucking new game from Hitbox Team when. Spire has been in development forever
Somebody mentioned above that it's been like two and a half years since the last update. I think its dead.
Silksong is what I'm waiting for, might try and get back into Hyper Light Drifter.
No seriously what game is this?
Pour one for the dead ones
F
>early access
Hey now Slay the Spire was Early Access and that was great
>Annapurna interactive also went ahead and made it a EGS exclusive so into the pirate list it goes, fuckers.
I want to be mad, but at least they're getting some money out of it.
I'm not mad at the developers, I'm mad at the publisher. Hopefully whatever they gave the devs is enough for Keita Takahashi to actually finish the game.
As was Darkest Dungeon. Truth is Early Access is not indicative of whether or not a game will be good in the end.
But this place loves to latch on to specific words
Hay guise :D
>literally tried to get a long-running annual indie convention shut down because it was already using the name they wanted for their retard crank
If this is your game OP, I've played AER, this is a straight up copy of it.
I wonder what happened to the Prison Architect clones that popped up for a brief moment.
>AER
uh I already played FLYFF
The reaction to this was so surreal. It's like nobody had ever thought of a handheld video game platform before. I fucking hate tech bros so much and I hope this shit flops
early access killed subnautica for me, I had no motivation to play by the time it was fully released, and even if I hadn't played EA everybody else had already played it so nothing was a surprise anymore and almost nobody was talking about it. Games should release all at once for their own sake.
agreed but I'd totally buy this for like $40. but $150 is more than a PSP + a 64GB SD card
for a MONOCHROME game platform that does nothing new but crank, the games had better be really, really good even at $40
Do mods count? If so, Rain world: More slugcats expansion
Kingdoms of the Dump
if they managed to get takahashi then they probably have a couple indie devs I'm familiar with. but then again I could also see them selling the thing on WHOA WE GOT THE KATAMARI GUY LOOK and the rest are no-name mobile devs
I keep hearing good things about Rain World from varying sources and it seems like my type of jam. Hope it gets a sale soon so I can try it. I'm too stingy to get games at full price
Silenced
>What indies are you looking forward to
My own to be released, so I can see what people think of it.
Post pics
Playing Creature in the Well right now. It's fairly lenient on letting you progress without doing everything, but some of these pinball-like challenges would be a real motherfucker if you want the 100%.
Its one of the best games I've ever played imo I dont think there'll ever be anything like it, at least not for awhile. One piece of advice if you do buy it though, its good to be patient. The game can kick your ass so its definitely not for everybody, but once you get the hang of it you'll be hooked.
Also try not to look anything up and just make sure to follow the glowing yellow worm creature if you ever get lost. The game is very cryptic but doing research online really fucked things up for me, its better just to go in blind
Pirate it first. I thought it would be totally up my alley, but the platforming felt so bad to me. Reminded me of LittleBigPlanet's jumping.
Not trying to defend it, but I don't think there's been any vidya kickstarter in history that's been finished on time.
I think a dev from the project posted on Yea Forums or am I imagining things? I might be mixing it up with some other project. Regardless, looks neat.
>pinball-like challenges
Go on.
It still hurts. I remember it being announced before the latest trend of sci-fi and/or terror walking simulators (SOMA, Alien Isolation). Guess it didn't make sense to release after they beat them to it.
You might not like it, but this is the greatest arcade game of all time
Better than Geometry Wars
Basically you use power pinballs to charge the machinery, open doors and progress further. Some rooms are just a bunch of bumpers you smack pinballs at. Some of them are timed precision areas, angling shots so you take the bumpers out in order. And some of them have turrets that hurt you unless you catch their projectile and turn it into a pinball, or AOE attacks you have a split second to avoid damage, or homing projectiles you have to smack with a pinball.
There's no penalty for dying from what I can see, other than having to walk back to where you died. But it doesn't baby you, getting hit takes a giant chunk of your health and you can go a while before healing up again.
I'm hyped for Celeste's DLC. Some great new mechanics in what they've shown so far
It’s like momodora rutm but a bit janky
They basically had a finished game at their hands (supposedly) but they weren't happy with the alternative route the game had. So they delayed to game to flesh out and polish it but lost all of their momentum and never released the finished game. Since they were ready to release at one point, I'm guessing some personal drama inside the dev team is halting the release of the game, otherwise they could just release it without an alternative path and still get something from their work.
Fun fact, Mick Gordon was the sound designer on the game
>greek mythology buff likes it
That's fantastic news, I was curious how the myth side of it was.
I hope some of those tracks get released eventually but I doubt it. Its going to take a while in any case.
At first glance you might think it plays into basic cliches and misinterpretations like Hades being evil but you can tell the devs researched their stuff.
Hades is no more spiteful then all the other Olympian gods are implied to be.
It has fun with the fact that IRL the character Zagreus has several different accounts of who he is in collective greek mythology. Some calling him the son of Hades others equating him with Dionysus. In-game this is represented by Dionysus suggesting Zagreus pretend they are the same god to fool the spirit of Orpheus. if you have even a passing knowledge of greek myths its fun to see these things.
Not sure about best but its really damn good, certainly the best twin stick.
Speaking of arcade style games, are there any good new ones? Only thing I can think of from this year is Blazing Chrome.
Dude
Slay the Spire is getting its fourth character in a few days (in the Beta branch).
Spire and Slay the Spire are two different games
>Slay the Spire comes out
>Spire dies
oh my god
oh yeah i saw a trailer for it on nintendo's channel, it sounds kind of interesting. is it any good?
You aren’t expected to do pacifist on your first run of the game, it’s meant to be done on your second or third run.
That has become abundantly clear now but it doesn't make me any less mad that I missed an ending just because I couldn't figure out how to save one NPC. Now my determination has been depleted and I don't want to replay the pacifist route.
I'll get around to it years down the road, maybe.

What's the Bannerlords of the indie world Yea Forums?
>inb4 someone says Bannerlords
It's a very different type of game from Geometry Wars. Nex Machina and Geometry Wars 3 are both fantastic games though.

Youtube recently recommended me the trailer of Later Alligator. The game looks cute but that's all I can say from that video. The steam page doesn't tell much neither, is it going to be another Night In The Woods or something? Couldn't even tell what kind of base gameplay will have beyond minigames and dialog. It will be some kind of point and click adventure or something?
Anyone knows anything about this game?
Miner soon friend
Based and eggpiled
I
I'm looking forward to Kentucky Route Zero Act V, Silksong, and some cutesy games that I've been following the development of for a while. I've been following this game that's a cat exploring a robot kowloon walled city for a while (fucking years), it's just called HK project right now. I also backed the Deathbulge game on kickstarter, something I never fucking do. The devs are pretty nice and I've been reading the comics for years so even if it somehow all falls apart I feel 10 bucks is worth the years I've laughed at the comics.
I'm not sure either, but it got delayed like a week, which I think is pretty reasonable. Gameplay is probably gonna be a mix between point n click and JazzPunk's gameplay. That's what the trailer gave me, anyway.
thanks for this, looks really nice
Blasphemous
Carrion
Hollow Knight: Silksong
Ori 2
Rain World: More Slugcats mod
Black Mesa: Xen
Deltarune
Wrath: Aeons of Fury
Subnautica: Below Zero
Madness: Project Nexus
SO MUCH TO DO SO MUCH TO SEE
I did the same thing on my first playthrough too, only I killed Papyrus also. Multiple runs is normal and intentional, so don't worry about it
Hollow Knight is fun but
>Too stingy with upgrades
>Too much emphasis on getting lost to the point of it being frustrating because what appears to be progress results in a dead end
>HP sponge bosses
>Some really poorly designed platforming right in the middle of some really good platforming
It's fun but I'm glad I got it for like 5 bucks
>Buy pic related because the artstyle looks interesting and reminds me of Madworld
>Solid and fun gameplay similar to punchout, lots of collectibles too that expand the lore
>Has a story mode with an interesting plot and great sense of humor
>Arcade mode
>Great OST
Looks like it's not even finished.
>still no silksong release date
Just kill me now bros what the fuck.
There's literally a frog that says "yo, sometimes you should spare people even when it's not yellow"
Also
>can't tell the difference between three dots and five dots
you only need to spare her twice to figure out what's going on, user.
Undertale is incredibly on the nose with its pacifist run. The game fucking hammers you with that shit early on and even if you did fuck up by killing Toriel it's an easy restart.
DROD! Oh my god, someone played this.
Literally the BEST puzzle games ever, fuck your witnesses and whatever. This can keep you occupied for years with the user content, and the main campaigns are GOAT
ETERNAL CYLINDER!

>Soon...
I don't want to tell him, guys.
playing hollow knight right now and its fucking amazing, also replaying undertale and night in the woods, both of which are just as good as they were the first playthrough
Just Finished Iconoclasts, a pretty damn solid puzzle-focused philosophical wank of a game.
I want to play some roguelike, but my PC is quite shite, like 2GB of Ram and 512MB Vram. Any reccomendations?
No, you have to get the neutral ending before you can get the pacifist ending. You weren't missing anything.
I'm playing Factorio right now. It's become one of my all-time favorites!
.gif not mine
FTL and Into the Breach run on toasters.
Finished both already, but good reccomendation, user. I also finished everything there was to play in Cultist Simulator.
Slay the Spire?
Runs at like 10 fps. ;_;
>No TUNIC mentioned
Why though? It looks great.
Im back to wow classic but Silksong when it comes out Ill play
I saw this garbage before. Cringe as fuck, go shill your fecal matter trash elsewhere
Don't ever post here again.
Heart Forth, Alicia is kill, isn't it?
Which two genres does furi combine?
Just torrent it lol
I have literally never seen Yea Forums talk about this game. It's charming as fuck, and filled with tiny details here and there.
The dialog and soundtrack also really remind me of the early Paper Mario games.
what do you even play then?
Haven't seen the dev streaming in a while now that I think of it.
Please tell us more about how cultured you are for playing COD and bing bing wahoo
>Radio the Universe coming out
Praying hard that it doesn't suddenly get
dropped like half the kickstarter projects
I've followed.
i'm washing my hands of supergiant
they obviously drove themselves into a hole with pyre and had to sellout
bloodbath kavkaz
if you mean good ones then i can't help you
i think a lot of people think hotline miami was good because of its aesthetics and they incorporate that
I've been waiting for this to come out, the aesthetics of it are pretty neat in my opinion.
What Remains of Edith Finch was good. Teared up a bit.
Easily the best "walking sim" out there.
I still prefer SOMA and Observation.
Small demo reel of gameplay and menus.
Would Mordhau technically be considered indie? All the guys at Triternion were college students when they made the game. They got their funding via Kickstarter.
>Would Mordhau technically be considered indie?
Doesn't have a publisher and the dev isn't some big publisher of games themselves, so yes
Looking forward to Darkest Dungeon 2, Silksong, and Ori. Recently played vallhalla, ion fury, and rain world (7/10) (9/10) (8/10)
Anyone play Atomicrops yet? Its eggs exclusive but it looks like stardew valley meets nuclear throne.
I dropped it fast. I'll never be good at it. Neat concept tho
