>tfw want to play CSGO since I'm pretty good at aiming but the way the movement mechanics impact your accuracy really upsets me
>tfw want to play TF2 since I'm good at rocketjumping but the way rocketjumping tanks your health pisses me off
valve can't make a decent game
Tfw want to play CSGO since I'm pretty good at aiming but the way the movement mechanics impact your accuracy really...
>want to play a game i don't like
>I suck therefore game is bad
i feel you. What's the point of having a crosshair if your bullets are flying somewhere else?
You know that bad feeling when you unload a clip at pointblank range and not a single bullet hits
>tfw want to fart but hate shitting myself and both come out of my asshole which upsets me
>tfw want to shit but the way your asshole farts sometimes when you're trying to shit pisses me off
just play qc
>git gud
>use gunboats
Go be faggot somewhere else.
game's unbearably laggy, my main game at this point is ql but it's dead at certain hours
>standing still is too hard for me
retard
>pulling my mouse down while i shoot is too hard for me
retard
someone's never played quake where you can just fly around the map sniping people constantly
ok so if I need to place the crosshair below their feet or aiming at the ground, why is there a crosshair at all?
works on my machine but that's pretty unlucky
hopefully that one game with the eggs is fun
>getting hit as soldier
I've heard that it's because the game doesn't have any "lag compensation" or something. And I'm aware my WIFI adapter is kind of shit so I'm hoping if I replace it it will fix the problem. It's a pretty crazy type of lag, just very small yet distracting warping going on constantly even at low ping.
>durr this incredible movement option does damage to me
Wear gunboats you fragile little person
what does quake have to do with this?
because it's an integral part in the skill/learning curve
playing tactically and learning how to use individual weapons are of equal iportance, which ultimately adds another dimension in which the player is able to improve their skill
bro get an ethernet cord they're like 3$
My router is in my roommates room
you can get a really long one for like 5$
>aim crosshair at someone
>spray
>with practice, keep my crosshair on the target while spraying
>every bullet misses
I think the game just isn't for you, buddy. The control involved is a good thing for tactical play.
This isn't Quake. The idea is that recoil control gives more skilled players a reason to learn and buy more expensive weapons, while inherent inaccuracy means you can't snipe people for pennies, and you have to resort to grenades and team play.
It's time to kill your roommates.
>not playing the superior css
shigged
Nobody plays it now, if they ever did.
damn i guess i was just imagining these past 12 years, today included
Being good at aiming in CSGO doesn't count for much since the hit detection is so broken.
That's the source engine for you
At least this isn't pubg where you can lag switch and kill people invisibly
>980 hours in TF2
>used to love playing it after school every day
>was pretty good at it, maybe not pro level but would always be the best in pubs
>stopped playing regularly a few years ago because I started getting burnt out on it
>now just a washed-up casual who only boots it up occasionally while drinking and fails to recapture that magic feeling it used to have
Try playing Midair
TF2's annoying because no one has any range but sniper, and sniper has a toggle scope that charges so you can't quickscope.
Just play the superior game - Quake Live, or even Quake Champions.
i have a feeling that at least 10% of TF2 players, including me, are exactly like this. used to enjoy playing the game and used to be good, now doesn't enjoy it and is bad. it isn't fun when this happens on every game i play.
I play Quake Live all the time but it's pretty high energy, sometimes I wish I just had a game like CS except without weapon inaccuracy so you could just walk around sniping all day.
>im bad
>game bad
>CSGO
why anyone would play that cheater infested garbage heap is beyond me
So many cheaters, volvo actually factored it in to their revenue sources
Just downloaded this. I see it has a peak player count of 15 players.
Would love Midair if it had hitscan weapons, like the railgun from Quake. You could make it so they do a smaller amount of damage so spinfusors are still somewhat useful in close quarters, or you could just make it a big snipe fest. It'd be pretty amazing if you had a game which had jetpacks, rocketjumping, bunnyhopping, skiing, and quickscoping/railing in the same game.
I don't think it's that bad anymore with trust factor implemented
maybe for you, but I'm in low trust factor and I don't cheat. Never have
Trust factor isn't about whether you cheat, it's about whether you care about your account enough to not cheat and various other statistics like VAC bans among friends, etc
Then that's dumb, because I paid for csgo and effectively valve stole what I paid for
These threads remind how bad Yea Forums is at video games.
Not really, since the system as a whole should be better suited. There's no way to tell what your trust factor actually is, but if you have no playtime in many other games or a game ban somewhere else that's a pretty clear giveaway
Is this why I've been playing with way more 5 and 10 year coins? I have a lot of hours and have noticed very little cheating lately and a lot more experienced players.
It's not broken at all, it's just the hitboxes in this game are really small compared to other games.
CS is a shit game though.
I have high playtime in csgo and other games
I have never cheated
I have reached global elite legit, but it took a long time
I have poor aim for my rank, and rely on tactical superiority
I always give my teammates spare weapons
Never grief
Why am I in low trust factor? Also, I guarantee you high trust factor still has plenty of cheaters, just they're better at hiding it.
>Trust factor isn't about whether you cheat, it's about whether you don't cheat
What?
Most likely, yes. I find the anticheat methods that Valve has developed to be very interesting, since a lot of other games don't bother to go to such lengths
Maybe it's just shitty matchmaking based on other factors. You can't really know. I would assume that if you are in or near global elite the system can't do any better to check whether an account is hacking because of how new cheats are increasingly elusive, and to get there even a hacker has to care somewhat
It's like a credit score. VAC is what deals with cheating directly, but before that you can take away the most obvious shared factors among people who will get banned, or at least those who commonly get kicked and reported.
So, they can match players who work well together by basically any measurable statistic since they can use steam account data. Maybe that community leader badge was worth taking the time to complete, after all.
Well, global is another story.
>the way rocketjumping tanks your health pisses me off
>he hasn't taken the trolldier-pill
leave
yeah but it's shit if it's putting legit players with cheaters.
It should 99.99% confidence level not 50%
enjoy playing your "casual fps", shitter
If it could manage that level of confidence they would all be banned to begin with. I can't think of another anticheat system that thinks about it this hard, so to say it's shit would be to say that everything is.
