I don't think the pserver community likes Classic, but it's the lesser of two evils. The alternative is to play on a pserver with potentially corrupt staff. Classic as it stands is in a post-nerf state where content is undertuned. I'm not implying vanilla content is difficult for today's standards, however, it is certainly not as challenging as it used to be. Both back in the day and on private servers. I think this will eventually lead to the death of Classic: the undertuned content. The natural progression of Classic will be a relaunch of TBC which I fear will suffer the same fate as Classic: undertuned content that is boring.

No one realized that because it's a lie. Classic is superior to retail in every single aspect including better raiding experience. Having more mechanics and making them more complicated does not good raid content make. Retail raiding is soulless where Classic is pure soul. You can't out it into words. Compared to the vanilla private servers starting with nostalrious, Classic is way under tuned. You can 2 man every elite quest now while the mobs are 3 lvls higher. I wish blizzard would have taken the enemy health and damage rates from private servers. It made the game not only a grind but fucking difficult alone

Lvl 23, I'm enjoying it. Tried playing retail WoW last night, leveled a lot faster and there's a lot of improvements and changes, but it was pretty empty and all the people I did see were like level 110, and basic shit in the auction was always several gold to 300 million gold. I don't get it, it's not very fun. Classic is a good time though.

Faerlina is the Asmon layer, Herod is the private server minmaxing redditor realm, Thalnos is the latino realm.
Incendius was the last realm added realm at launch day, which meant that most regular players who aren't attached to any group or ulterior motive flocked into it when they couldn't log into the others, since Meta-cancer like discord guilds who planned everything beforehand can't switch plans so easily due to their size.
And now Blizzard released free server transfers, and no one can move into Incendius, only out of it.
It's the perfect realm for a true classic experience

What is the most fun way to play Warlock? Currently lvl 20 using dots for damage but its kind of boring just applying the two same dots over and over and not really doing anything other. Is destruction more fun? I want to rain down destruction and have flashy spells. Something other then just applying dots would be cool from a mechanic point point of view. it doesnt even have one, i recently leveled a void elf for the heritage armour, questing is useless, since its slower than spamming dungeons and doin one zone will give you 10 levels or more so at level 60 you will have seen 3-4 zones and thats it. the rest of the world, not needed, not seen. the quests are also easy as fuck, no challenge at all and the questmarkers on the map make you ignore the landscape.

I think a few games have tried that to some degree. I don't remember the name of the game but I remember one where you always saw people who were "Nearby" based on your IP as available to be quickly invited. I don't think it ever took off that much. I think it's a lost cause, as matchmaking is so ingrained into every single game now and we have so many new multiplayer games coming out every year that you'd be shooting yourself in the foot to try to make "communities" like that instead of just mashing your rapidly declining playerbase together so you can make some sort of profit.

Im more curious how many of you guys rerolled? I grinded pretty hard and got to 32 on my rogue in just a couple of days. Hit a brick wall of burnout, lack of quests and missing enemies so I took a three day break and rerolled.

It's easiest in Darnassus cause you can just right click all the frogs and squirrels in beast eye and it will be every 2 seconds guaranteed

If you can't right click critters, like in SW AH bind eye of the beast to a number on the bar, and you can just spam press it to enter beast eye, and once it's cast, just press keybind again to recast.
The bird should make a screech 50% of all recasts, and you will do it around every 4-ish seconds if it works that attempt. Still enough to piss people off

The best sort of quests are the class quests.
Verigan's Fist quest line is particularly amazing. Full of flavor, has you travel the world, fight in a few dungeons, thematically fits the class, spans multiple levels, and has the ejaculation at the end with the awesome reward. I wish all classes had quests as good as this one, every 20 levels.
Imagine such detailed and flavorful quests for each class at 20, 40 and 60, giving them a thematic ability (Sense Undead for Paladin), a thematic weapon, and a trip around the level appropriate dungeons.

That's not true. There are some big private servers centred around going through all of the Classic events and they have been around for years.
