fun
Really fun combat, occasionally a hard boss
the best part about dark souls isn't the combat, it's that the combat makes exploring the world feel really rewarding because it's not just mindlessly walking around
A fun time that only stupid people who are genuinely bad at games have built up to you as being a OMG SUPER HARD game. There’s trial and error like any other game but it’s pretty middling stuff.
>for $5
where?
Great combat set to dark aesthetics and lore that give everything an immersive tone. Very fun, challenging at times. Not as hard as marketing and journalists would lead you to believe. Just have fun.
Also highly replayable. Do what you want for your first run then start experimenting if you end up playing it again.
You have a point, user
the easiest game ever unless you're a cumguzzling cretinous retard
based and true
this, the best part of Souls games always was exploration and atmosphere. the combat just meshes really well with them.
Never heard of that one.
Make sure to level you Resistance or the game gets really hard in the second half.
this is why the first one is the best one, its the most rewarding and memorable as far as exploration and the world goes. a lot of 3 feels unironically SOULLESS in this regard, and like you're just going through the motions with no real organic flow. i feel 2 at least tried, and failed, but it tried and had a shitload of variety with some cool stuff to boot. and 2 still succeeded in other areas like pvp.
It was 75% off on Steam just the other day.
>I paid $40 for this.
An okay game that Yea Forums pretends is the second coming of Jesus.
its pretty good though
Is the remaster worth it if I have the original? Some of the screenshots I've seen made it look worse but maybe they were cherrypicked.
No the differences are so subtle that you won't even notice them aside from the bonfire that they added to the blacksmith down the catacombs.
Artificial difficulty
I like big sword and big weapons but from what I look you pretty much get fucked hard if your speed is low.
Thanks. Also, does DSFix handle 60 fps well now? I remember playing the game at 30 because back then it had bugs with ladders and some other stuff.
Does the remaster version have mods?
what game has organic difficulty? what is organic diffculty, as opposed to artificial?
how do we judge what's artificial difficulty? intuition? what if it's organic difficulty but you're just unskilled and see it as artificial?
have you ever thought about how fucking stupid you are? or are you too much of a dumb cunt to have thoughts like that?
I didn't like this game because I keep getting lost in video games, I never seem to know where I'm supposed to be going. I also couldn't like the slow combat even though that's the point of the game. If you're like me then you're in for an experience that won't be fun I guess.
stop having bad directional skills
I know, I'm sorry. I feel like I missed out on Dark Souls and Super Metroid, both games loved by many people, simply because I got frustrated from never knowing where to go.
