Are the Fallout 4 apps worth using?

DLed 2 Fallout 4 apps for samsung 9 plus. Got out of the fucking shelter, and now just wandering around old neighborhood. It's supposed to be a great game, how long before it starts getting really interesting aside from shootig rats and so on? Do you build your own house?
Not sure if I should start in on this or red dead redepmtion 2 until my new motherboard comes and can fix my computer. Any ideas?

not that it means anything anymore, but didn't it get "game of the year" from some useless magazine run by bugmen? opinion on RD redemtion 2? If it turns out my motherboard can be fixed, gonna return the new one I bought and maybe get either a PS 4 VR or the new Occ Rift VR. Fav thing for me to do on VR is to just go to random cities in europe and "virtually" wander around.
Also, if they ruin Cyberpunk due out in April I'm gonna go ballastic. One thing keeping me from blowing my brains out..

the really great games for PsI've found are the the firt 3 Uncharted games, haven't played the others yet.

I don't know how to even find decent games these days. Suppsedly even the creative director at Project Red who did Witcher 3 quit. This place is usaually a cesspit of arguments, sales on Steam don't tell you much in general, the bugmen base the reviews on the hookers the gaming companies send over to fuck them.

Imagine if gaming companies weren't cucks and could use current tech to make games like COD 3 where you hunt habibs in european cities? Would be best selling games ever but will never get made.

Have a good idea what you're after and look for games like it or that involve the people who worked on it. Never buy anything in the first week of release(month is still pushing it, publishers are obsessed with early sales above all else and release games too soon) and do a shitload of research into non-paid reviews.
