Gtavs map is not that big compared to those games. Witcher 3 is around 3 times larger

I hope it's compact and filled with little details and secrets. I always love games where you can interact with the little things llike vending machines, arcade cabinets board games and street merchants.

The populated city sections will be like that, but I'd expect large swathes of concrete jungle with no one in them but hostiles with guns, as that's both necessary for gameplay, and true to the game's source material.

Hopefully it's a smaller map packed with details and not a fuckhuge map that just pads out the game and spaces out the actually content with tons of MUH COLLECTABLES thrown in.
