Waiting for this game is gonna be torture. Any predictions for how the plot is gonna go down?

Nearly everyone is going to die, the ending will be shit and there will be a 2nd ending that is not as shit but still pretty bad.

I haven't really kept tabs on the plot other than guaranteed villain suffering

Played the demo at PAX West. Feels super solid and got to meet the CEO of Inti.

Did you ask him when we are getting BMZ2 DLC?

Attached: D6vPggsUIAABRn0.jpg (900x900, 175K)

I want to get the striker pack for 3ds but i have a question, does it contain the gunvolt 2 DLC as well ??? i know the switch version does, but this one i don't.

No, I don't think the DLC was out when the 3DS version was released.

Is the DLC of 2 compatible with this version? is it worth it?

Thanks user.

Is the 2nd game still being hostage?

The good news is is that they aren't as pathetic as Eden was.

Attached: Dark Lola.jpg (1920x1080, 324K)

So what's causing Lola to go edgy?

>she caught Copen's edginess
great

Copen ends us killing his sister and murdering the majority of the human race using an inversion of Zonda's plan (since Adepts, grr). Next game takes place in a ruined world dominated by violent gangs of PTSDing Adept teenagers.

Everyone is super edgy and ridiculously cute in Gunvolt.

This is your JRPG party. How fucked is the world?

Attached: team.jpg (1748x2480, 440K)

>Copen
>Being on a team with Adepts

As impressionable as they are, I think Nova would be able to bring GV and Zonda around to his point of view if given enough time (though they may disagree on the means to get there). Copen would just be an edgemaster who constantly hints at betraying everyone but never does anything. Honestly, without politics and the whole Adept shit dividing them, I think they'd get along well. Except for Copen, they're all noted to be nice and even altruistic/selfless in their side stories (even Zonda, with her whole wipe out nonadepts, is pretty likable/adorable so long as you're a fellow adept).

Attached: wall_hanami2017_16_9.jpg (1920x1080, 1.58M)

The second game is only on the 3DS right? Asking because I plan on going through the serie one of those days

pretty much

Attached: 1567189848215.jpg (1600x1200, 1.96M)

I like how adepts are almost always guaranteed to be the most attractive and vibrant characters in the game.

It was the same way back in Zero when you compared Leviathan to Ciel. Inti has a hard-on for badgirls.

It's on switch as a double pack

What if I said that Leviathan looked more like X than Ciel did?

>iX
What did they mean by this?

What's the evidence for and against the possibility of this game being an alternate timeline/reality?

I don't see how that's supposed to be a negative.

It was supposed to be his game!

Attached: Nova.jpg (800x1131, 115K)

sure. gunvolt is like the worst part of gunvolt

Would you put it in a weaponized adept?

Attached: EDwOJMUUUAAPiia.jpg (1184x2104, 313K)

Thanks

How do we make Gunvolt play as "fun" as Copen?

Hard mode. Gunvolt is too powerful and durable in normal mode but lacks the mobility options to go fast like Copen.

I'd put it in Gibril

Attached: tobatothedog__75889339_p2.png (900x1300, 837K)

>Gibril will never cut your dick off with the blood from her broken hymen
why live

The crafting system for some reason I love the retarted item decryption in those circuit parts

I am, but unfortunately my toaster won't be able to handle the PC version. I could buy a Switch Lite when it comes out, but I'm pretty reluctant too.
Why couldn't they release it on 3DS too damn it? I don't see anything about iX that's a fundamental upgrade over GV1 and 2 besides the character portraits.

Give him a sword.

So is this actually a new game or just some kind of souped up version of 2 with extra story bullshit? I can't seem to get a straight answer.

New game.

It's kinda a sequel. Copen gets his own game while the devs are busy trying to figure out where the fuck go with Gunvolt 3's plot.

Any ideas for who Blade is (besides Gunvolt)?

Joule.

That's basically bare ass

Lumen?
Rei?

Attached: 908f9ca997f6c20b8bc46424866e5c55.jpg (1024x1024, 179K)

I ordered the main game, but didn't get the collectors edition because 20 extra bucks for a CD I'll probably listen to once, a poster I won't hang, and a pin wasn't worth it.

Yeah, I'm thinking Rei. Especially since they technically introduced Mytyl before she became relevant. Rei's physical description (and basically being named Zero) are what's setting alarm bells for me.

>azure striker-infused lumen somehow placed in a robot/clone
Too cool to happen, but imagine.

The only thing this franchise doesn't do is resurrect characters between games. If someone dies, they die. Only person who could resurrect is dead too.

Attached: EAKLIX7UcAY0UTp.jpg (716x1000, 103K)

I hope they ditch the score-based ranking system. It's so damn tiresome for a 2D platformer. Much better to use the MMZ setup where it's a list of checkboxes, and if you tick them all off you get max rank.

You can buy the DLC for the Striker pack. The Striker Pack and the digital version of GV2 are considered different games, so if you buy the DLC for one version of the game you don't get it for the other, but that's only a problem if you have both for some reason. The levels with the Sumeragi bosses and the Ultimate Challenge are worth it in my opinion. To listen to the song DLCs you need to equip it as a program or a pendant so it's not worth getting it in my opinion, and I don't care about Speedrunning.

Blade also has some kind of chain attack.
Clearly the solution is to just turn Gunvolt into MMZ Zero.
Mini Luxcalibur = Z-Saber
Mini Voltaic Chain = Chain Rod (with whip-like functions too, maybe?)
Some upgraded form of the Flashfield = Shield Boomerang.
A lightning rod of some sort = Triple Rod.
Stun baton = Recoil Rod.
You could even sort of justify the Z-Knuckle by integrating Gunvolt's hacking skills into gameplay. He could take a fallen mech's plasma gun or chainsaw, and use his septima to provide it power and activate it at will. If it's too big for him to realistically carry around, he can use electric fuckery to make it effectively weightless like how he floats with the Flashfield or air jumps.

So, they got rid of crafting. You just buy stuff with credits now.

Copy Nova Mk2.
We're missing a purple boss, and if Blade has a weaponized form then it hasn't been revealed (literally zero reason in-story for him to not have one unless there are special technical difficulties 01011 01001 01100 01100)
His Japanese name, Shiden, can mean both sword glint and purple lightning.
He briefly possessed the Azure Striker, but it only backfired on him and had to be removed and replaced with Psychokinesis. Incidentally, Blade apparently suffers from operational time limits and breaks down in pain if he exceeds them.

All the characters are broken. I remember one character in GV1 mentioning that he preferred hell to living when he was resurrected by Elise.

Attached: Blade.jpg (2700x3249, 1.57M)

Will they finally add dating mechanics in the sequel?

Gunvolt isn't that type of game. Besides, the school elements in GV2 felt really out of place and Inti heroines tend to be a bit bland anyways.

Attached: 9d89847a37bf52fd3177ddabc400e05b.jpg (1000x987, 157K)

No, that was Viper boasting. He questioned if it was hell that GV sent him too, then said he thought it would be warmer.
The only one discontent with being revived was Stratos, who compared his living again status to hell.

Is it true there won't be any physical copies for Europe?
Why? We got every previous Inti release.

Oh yeah the fly guy. He had a good life before Sumeragi came and fucked his shit up, even Gunvolt took pity on the poor sap.

I thought you never got physical versions of the Striker Pack?

I remember reading about how its original intended audience was salarymen with PSPs on break, or something like that.

of course, Inti does megaman better than capcom after all

Mighty Gunvolt 2 is the best platformer I've played in years

Attached: Copencity.jpg (1920x1080, 850K)

If I remember correctly, Stratos, Elise, and Gibril all consider death to be preferable to living.

Attached: GVvalentine_16_9US.jpg (1920x1080, 742K)

We have no sales figures yet.

I just hope they just keep making copen games

>hard mode
Unironically this. I had way more fun in GV1 hard mode, moving fast and tagging multiple targets for high kudos and not getting hit at all. That fucking flashfield is just too weak in normal mode, it needs to be 2-3 times stronger
Even if you dont use shield construct on copen Ex weapons can quickly kill off mooks and let you keep moving but that flashfield just stops you in your tracks as you wait for everything to die

>PIE increases her bust size
What about the other stats?

Oh right. Well. For the 3DS. We got it for the Switch later though.

>no more grinding for rng rare drops
>subs are paid for with credits
You say that like its a bad thing
I wonder if they still have the memory mechanic going, overloading his suit was OP and fun as fuck, annoying beeping notwithstanding

Honestly, adepts this time aren't as sympathetic (which is a good thing). Even Rebellio goes "imma gonna murder you to get outta jail." All of Copen's actions are pretty much self-defense against a regime that wants to wipe out all nonadepts. They don't have good intentions and are seeking to bring about a more peaceful world where adepts and nonadepts can coexist without fear, and they aren't underdog orphans with assloads of trauma and abuse to somewhat justify their extremism, they're just assholes.

Attached: EDZfC50UcAAZk9Z.jpg (1567x2048, 347K)

>mmz/zx coming out on january
>steam page
>iX coming out in 20 days
>no steam page
Motherfucking why

Being abused orphans doesn't change the fact that Eden is a cult founded on genocide.

they don't want to cannibalize the collector edition sales

>You say that like its a bad thing
Didn't mean to, I think it's a great thing
>I wonder if they still have the memory mechanic going
Unfortunately, right now it looks like it's just straight upgrades now. You can see that there's three separate Bullit upgrades, and in the trailer they're equipped as soon as they're bought.

Yeah it doesn't. They're sympathetic and tragic, but aren't anywhere close to being good guys. At least Nova, for all of Sumeragi's fuckups, could be argued to be morally grey.

>subs are now upgrades
>no memory mechanic
But that means I can just dump fucking everything I buy and utterly break the game what the fuck
Atleast I can get HoHX much earlier than in GV2 for those sweet sweet S+ ranks

Gibril!

Attached: 1559376997582.gif (560x364, 3.7M)

Nice cosplay. I can't wait for Copen to waste her.
This adept who appeared in the teaser trailer? It's probably Kohaku. Her bio notes that she somehow salvages machines and gets them working again through "only intuition", yet many of them function drastically differently...

Well, the adept in the trailer partially reassembles a Mantis Legion from scrap. Despite visually being identical to the original model, it inexplicably fires a laser beam from its machine gun arm which still possesses an ammo drum.
Most tellingly, this adept falls to their knees rather than just dying when Copen defeats them.
I'M ONTO YOU, INTI,

Attached: mpv-shot0028.png (1920x1080, 1.51M)

a bit of blaster master zero stuff too

>Can you discuss how Blaster Master Zero 2 has sold on Switch?

>If you look at how Blaster Mater Zero 1 went, when that game came out there was a very small amount of users on the Switch, so sales were kind of like a slow progress, and then of course we released DLC for Blaster Master Zero 1, so that continued to kind of make a slow upward trend for that. Obviously if you compare it to the sales of Blaster Master Zero 1 which has been out for over two years, obviously it does not quite have the amount of sales it does yet, but it’s kind of trending in the same way that Blaster Master Zero 1 has at this point in time.

>Are there any plans for DLC for Blaster Master Zero 2?

>How things work at Inti Creates and maybe this is a little different from other studios, the way we decide if we’re going to decide if we’re going to do something like DLC, it’s not a decision that comes from management that goes to the team and says, “Hey, you gotta make this DLC.” If the team itself and particularly the director says, “I really want to make this DLC. I really want to do this thing. I really want to do that.” – that’s where a lot of our decisions come from. Basically, it’s from the team up, not so much from the top down. If the team decides, “Hey, we really want to do this really cool DLC,” then we’ll find the most appropriate time and place to make that announcement.

Attached: twitter.com AK10_Switch D2HjbtdUkAI3UYE.jpg orig.jpg (1280x720, 174K)

Weird, you can already buy it on consoles.

That makes no sense at all, the collector's edition is not for PC, only consoles. Any retard who wants to play the gaame will buy the standard edition, and those who want physicals, extra goodies, etc will buy the limited edition. There is little fanbase overlap

>I definitely think it is a possibility for sure. Again, this kind of goes back to what we were saying before, a lot of those decisions would come from if some our staff – particularly our directors – say, “Hey, I really want to make a game using X Sunsoft IP or Y Sunsoft IP.” Then I as the producer would be able to go to Sunsoft and say, “Hey, we want to do this game. What do you think?” and kind of do that negotiation part. Is it possible? Yes. And then, it would really come down to if one of our directors wants to make a game using a Sunsoft IP. That would be the first step in something like that.
I'll send them some copies of Journey to Silius and pray.

They didn't start off wanting to murder all humans. At first, their goals were pretty reasonable: protect and create a refuge for adepts. As time went on, they saw more and more horrific things (like adept extermination camps in China or Sumeragi's human experimentation labs) or having their settlements completely slaughtered, so became convinced that the only way that they could survive and prosper was to wipe out all nonadepts. I mean, it doesn't really absolve them, but if I was in their shoes, I could see myself falling prey to their line of thinking. One of the things the games don't convey well is how horrible the world outside of Sumeragi dominated territories is for everyone. Like Eden's Party opens up with Tenijin and Zonda stumbling upon the aftermaths of a Rwanda style genocide of adepts in some nameless city, complete with mountains of mutilated bodies.

Attached: EDH56ExU4AAr4yt.jpg (748x1200, 124K)

from what i gather

not the best sales and dlc is far from certain

>speaks in binary before unleashing beserk trigger
Come on brainyfags, decode this shit

Attached: beserk quote.jpg (1121x575, 69K)

Either "Kill Kill Kill" or "ZX ZX ZX".
This Sumeragi is ruled by an AI, so the binary is probably meant to imply that it's connected to Blade's body and/or mind and can assume direct control to try to kill Copen personally.

Attached: Sumeragi Emblem.jpg (1024x1024, 108K)

"Your mother will die in her sleep if you have less than 4000 kudos."

If that came from Teseo, it might actually be a threat.

>based on the zodiac
>Only 6 Falcons and Blade
Do they have plans for a sequel to iX, or will we see the remaining six Actually seven counting Ophiuchus in GV3?

I actually just started the first game the other day and its surprisingly fun.
It feels a lot like Megaman but at the same time they managed to make it feel different with the way you fight enemies.
Gonna try to finish both games in one sitting when I get the time.

Nope. It's clear that it's an alternate reality. Somehow it's unnatural for adepts to achieve population majority, that was supposed to take decades from where the first game started, instantly.

Is it? Or is it that it's actually simplifying certain things and you can still get weapons and craft stuff?

>Honestly, adepts this time aren't as sympathetic
Well considering the situation, yeah. In Rebellio's case he is actually sympathetic and the reason he goes full overkill on Hitler Megaman is because he was forced by a terrorist group that kidnapped him, then Sumeragi put him on a death-row because of this and even took his family hostage just for extra kicks. If it weren't for any of this, he would've dropped the Falcon thing and skedaddled away with his family as far away as possible. Betting that any side-story with him will have him criticize Sumeragi for their treatment of Minos.

CHILD. BEARING. HIPS.

Her dark mode is called "Darkness Trigger" and Blade's SP skill is called "Berserk Trigger" so maybe there's a connection there

This is a gut-feeling on my part, but I don't think a lot of the 3DS base that's into this sort of game translated to the Switch. I know several people that loved the first game, but don't intend to buy it until it's on PC now that they know Inti eventually ports stuff.

I don't think that's the problem, 2D games seem to do well on the Switch.

I'd like if in GV3 the bosses would be reverse Sumeragi Seven in terms of themes. The first bosses were based on the seven sins. So make the third core game bosses based on the seven virtues...albeit in a twisted way.

Also make them one boy and six girls for maximum seething.

I actually like this...OH WAIT. Yep, the seething would be heard on the other side of the planet.

Definitively a girl. It must be a girl.

It's as surreal as the wallpapers where he's sociable with them.

The day GV and Copen become more friendly to each other will be the day when I ask on a drawthread to draw them in 80's suits with shades and driving a motorboat all while Out of Touch plays in the background.

>complete with mountains of mutilated bodies
Wow. Now that's dark. But honestly hoping it will be elaborated in later games.

>party member betrays the party in the first minute of the game

>heroes & villains have official art of them just hanging out in an alternate timeline and not killing each other
its not fair

Attached: 1456028753199.jpg (1600x1200, 1.89M)

>party member planned to betray the party a long time ago

Yeah that's pretty unfair. Especially how everyone is friendly with each other. Even fucking Copen, the biggest Adept hater, behaves friendly with everyone even when a crushing majority are Adepts.
>That pic where he's in a knight suit and riding Carrera who has a unicorn head and a face that can be described as an angry WTF expression
Priceless.
