they recently did come out with another game POSTAL.2.Paradise.Lost
and btw, the origianl postal 2 version not a remake i think maybe it came with the s(hare)t(he)p(ain) expansion/multiplayer toned down I know the cussing at the beginning with him and his wife at the trailer fighting

I was actually pretty surprised by how not shit the combat actually is when AW forces you to.
(AW itself was a little mediocre in design, but the gun mechanics and combat was always surprisingly great. Publisher boss, best boss)

I love Postal 2 so much I frequently gift copies of the game to multiple people when it's on sale.
I also pirated many copies of the game back when it was released and gave them to kids at school.

Paradise Lost came out at the height of gamergate and even had milo yiannopoulos cameo as himself, it still did fine.

Postal 2 is pretty damn niche. I'd have to assume the vast majority if not everyone that liked it, was either actively anticipating it or involved with its development and testing.

For a short, specific window of time, Mike J and some other RWS dev started a casual conversation about the series on Facepunch, and many FP members just happened to be fans. They recruited many FP users for Postal 2's complete overhaul on Steam and then got involved with Paradise Lost.

I had the opportunity to send them a pic for their Facepunch wall in the game, but I never did it.

I remember Vice did a review trying really hard to hate it but still ended up admitting they had fun.

As much as I love Postal 2, even I have to admit that it's rather janky, though that's not enough to ruin the game for me. And Running with Scissors are genuinely some of the most based and nicest people in the industry. They treat all of their fans with a lot of respect, even their Japanese fans.

the esrb is the reason games don't get censored dummy. a proper rating system to inform the customer lets you have both mature and juvenile games. without the esrb the law would step in and take over, censoring all games so they're all acceptable for dumb kids with shit parents. avoiding the threat of censorship was the entire reason it was formed.
