Co-op RE5 > RE4 > Single player RE5. Anyone who loves RE4, but hates RE5 simply outs themselves as having no friends. They're the same mechanically except RE5 has a better inventory

This. The system in RE5 I found truer to old RE's than that casual tetris system in RE4.

Sequels tend to have their predecessors reputation driving their hype, hence why RE5 was a huge success, and RE6 sold worse by comparison.

Only problem with 5 was you needed a friend to co-op it. Kinda sucked without a friend since the AI was dumb. But if you had a friend it was way better than 4.
