5th gen: ND>I>SP (Greatest era, SP almost non-existent)
6th gen: ND>I>SP (shittiest era, everyting started to become edgy AF thanks to GTA3)
7th gen: ND>SP>I (great new IPs, Insomniac has a shitty one though)
8th gen: I>SP>ND (insomniac made 2 great games, SP is going to rock with Tsushima, ND released a remaster, a sequel that lost a lot of its former identity and TLOU2 is not going to focus on fun either

Insomniac. Only because they still have a soft spot for Ratchet & Clank. Spider-Man is their most successful game ever, yet they still want to make R&C games.

All three are all pretty shit. I guess Sucker Punch is slightly less shit? Not really much of an accomplishment though.

the only game ps4 game made by their first party studios is spiderman and maybe uncharted 4? ps4 exclusives are overrated turds that only get attention cuz they are exclusives

they get around 1-2 million every year
it's enough for Sony to keep making them
the studio isn't exactly small either, so they are profitable

Japan studio > all of them
Knack and VR was shit a ploy to ruin their reputation

R&C remake was their most successful game to date, before Spider-Man released obviously, and was done by their North Carolina studio
California studio did Spider-Man, they can work on both without any conflicts or split resources

Naughty dog games have mostly been just ok in my book, and since they started huffing their own farts I've written them off regarding the design and overall fun factor of their games
I'm biased for insomniac due to my nostalgic love of the ps1 spyro trilogy and the first 2 resistance games getting me into first person shooters. Plus the ratchet series has just been consistantly solid, though I'm not speaking for anything past a crack in time since there's where I stopped.
I shouldn't judge sucker punch as a whole since sly has been sitting in my backlog for over a decade now, but the first 2 infamous games are my favorite ps3 games, so that's an easy win over naughty dog. If it weren't for the ps4 game shitting all over them I might even consider putting sucker punch above insomniac

Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2 were solid
but their best work is producing 1st party games from 3rd party studios
Bloodborne, Everybody's Golf, Freedom Wars

Modern Naughty Dog deserves to be at the bottom.
