I dob’t know what it was either but just seeing sans on screen in smash bros was jarring, and I couldn’t stop laughing for like 5 minutes after it. Undertale as a whole is a pretty good game all things considered and became pretty huge despite it being a simple indie game. Sans being the best costume in the game along with having megalovania as a remix just shows how far nintendo has come regarding indies now we have just one more to go

From what I hear thr gunner moveset is a good moveset for Sans. The Mii costume also makes him look like Sans and not a Mii dressed as Sans. So all he is missing from what he should have as his own is a taunt where he puts his hands in his pockets like hia sprite does. I never played the game though that is just what I heard.

Manchildren and zoomerkids foaming at the mouth for an indie game they're obsessed with maybe? I still don't understand the appeal of smash these days for anyone over the age of 10-19. I tried to get into it, and it's no doubt a fun game in small bouts, but I'm not rabies hungry for it. The mii costumes themselves are filler, miis aren't very good characters in the first place.

He's an extremely popular indie character, and this is the first time an indie has been playable in Smash, mii costume or not. He even got his own music too, which is a first for mii costumes.

Sans was also mainly just a meme to want in Smash, similar to that of Shrek, Goku, and Minecraft Steve. But he actually fucking happened, and with his own music!

He's also employed (freelance/contractor most probably) by game freak and is responsible for the music for one of their upcoming games.

If you don't think it's incredible that a small time American indie developer had such a huge amount of success that it lead to him having his character featured in one of the most popular games by one of the biggest game development companies out there, a Japanese one no less, as well as getting personally invited to the creator's house, I don't know what to tell you.
